Brooks here to tell you a bit about myself. I am a 2-year-old fawn colored pug boy. I am not your average Pug. My foster family says I am an extra special pug that needs an extra special home. You see, I am a super sweet guy, but I take some time to warm up to new places and people. I need reassurance and lots of love. I’m so cute that it shouldn’t be a problem!
I really love to be close to my person. I feel safest and happiest when I am being cuddled and petted. I am not a fan of the crate because I would rather sleep close to my person, beside their bed is fine, but in their bed would be great too!
I am still working on the potty thing. I’m getting there though so be patient. I am a good boy and want to learn so no worries!
My ideal home would be a calm and quiet home. Loud noises and lots of action make me nervous. I am ok with other doggies and would like a friend as I don’t like being alone.
I take an anti-inflammatory medication for my old “football injury” in my leg. I get along just fine so no worries there! I walk well on a leash.
Are you in love with me yet? I am such a sweet and cuddly guy, how could you not be? If you are ready to add me to your family, fill out an application. Make sure you put my name BROOKS on there! I can’t wait to meet you!
Are you looking for that perfect pal to make your life complete? I think today just might be our lucky day! My name is Oscar and I would love to be your perfect pal! I am a handsome and rather distinguished looking 12-year-old brindle pug gentleman.
My foster family has great things to say about me! I am a sweet and laid-back guy that seems to fit in just great and make friends easily. I really like the ladies of the house! I get along well with the dogs and I love people! I love to be right next to my person and love to be petted! I use a doggy door very well and do all “my business” outside. I am not a fan of those crate things, but no worries as I am a good pup and don’t need one!
I LOVE mealtime and I am a gentlemen and stick to my own plate. I prefer softer foods and get cheese for treats. The crunchy stuff is hard for me to chew. I love to go on walks and walk nicely on a leash. Do you like walks? I hope so!
I am an older fella and am a little hard of hearing and my eyesight isn’t what it used to be. I don’t need to have sharp senses to be your best friend. I am sweet and laid back and such a lover! I do get eye drops on a daily basis, but am very cooperative about them so no worries there. I had a mast cell removed and the AWESOME news is it’s benign!!
Have you read enough to know you need to meet me in person? Of course, you have! Please fill out an application and put my name, Oscar, as the pug of your dreams! I can’t wait to meet you!
What makes the world go round? Love does and I have a bunch of that! My name is Gulliver and I am a 5-year-old fawn pug boy.
My foster family thinks very highly of me! They say I am a sweet and laid back fella. I get along with the doggies in the house and even leave the chickens alone! I really enjoy people, but I’m not one of those needy “Velcro” Pugs. I am content just being by your side, but if you want to pet me, I won’t protest! I’ll actually roll over for tummy rubs!
I am good about going potty where I’m supposed to! Please be patient with me in my new home though. I am blind so it might take me a minute to learn a new home, but I’ll get it because I am awesome!
I am happy in my crate and go in without a fuss. At night, I sleep in the crate or on a comfy doggy bed in the living room. I’m not picky! Oh and mealtime…that’s the best time! I am very vocal about my love of food! I also love treats and chew sticks.
I do get eye drops and ointment 3 times a day. My foster mom makes these times fun for me because I get extra love and snuggles. I am very cooperative and a very good boy! If you are ready for the most loving Pug around, fill out an application and ask for me, Gulliver!
I hear you are looking for a friend. If you are thinking about a shorter friend with a smushy face and 4 legs, I just may be the guy for you! Carlos here to tell you all about my favorite subject…ME! I am a handsome 6-8 year-old fawn Pug with the best personality.
My foster family just goes on and on about my awesomeness! I am a laid back and gentle guy with great manners. I wait my turn at mealtime like a gentleman should. I definitely know where to do my “business” and I don’t have accidents in the house because I am a smart cookie!
My favorite place to be is curled up in a chair or on the couch right next to you. Don’t worry, I will let you be in control of the remote. I like to sleep on my doggy bed or in my favorite chair. I am not a fan of the crate, but that’s ok because I am a good boy and don’t need one! I am awesome on a leash and enjoy my strolls through the neighborhood. I am great about announcing company and am friendly when they come in.
Surely you have heard enough to know I am the perfect pup for you! If you think you need to meet me (you do), just fill out an application and put my name, Carlos, on there. I can’t wait to be a part of your family!
Are you looking for that awesome new Pug friend? Well, my name is Pilot and I am ready to fly into your life. I am a handsome 9-year-old Fawn fella with lots of love to give.
I am a lover of being loved. I will walk around to find someone to pet me. Sometimes I sing a little song to get your attention. A Pugs gotta do what a Pugs gotta do, sing, bark, sit close…I can’t help it! I LOVE to be petted.
My foster family speaks very highly of me! They brag about my potty behavior. I get an A+ for going to the door when I need to do my business and NO accidents in the house!
I sleep in my crate at night and I walk right in like a champ! I also enjoy a cozy dog bed as well. I’m not one to jump on furniture so no worries there. I just plop where I see fit (dog bed, crate or floor) and chill.
Did someone say dinner? Boy, I hope so! I love mealtime and will bark to remind you to feed me. I gotta keep this Pug figure. No worries about my taking others’ meals. I am a gentleman!
My senses aren’t what they used to be, but that doesn’t stop me. My hearing and eyesight aren’t the best, but my sniffer is 20/20! I have a special nose for food and friends to give me love. One last thing you should know, I had several masses removed but the AWESOME news is they were benign. WOO HOO!
Bottom line is if you are looking for a laid back, gentle, adorable friend, you found me. Fill out that application at and put my name on it: Pilot!

My foster mom can describe me in one word: exuberant! Hi, my name is Bogie and I am very happy-go-lucky 2-year-old pug mix guy. I just love, love, love to run and play. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy running with them too. When it’s time to settle down I very much enjoy cuddling with my human. You can tell when you meet me that I am a very happy boy, I just need a forever home to call my own. So, please enter my name (Bogie) on your application today. I can’t wait to meet you!
Are you ready to hear about the most awesome Pug around? I hope so because I am going to tell you all about…ME! My name is Kirby aka “Kirbi the Furbi” and I am a handsome 2-year-old tan boy.
I am quite the player…with toys! I just love toys and can’t get enough! Squeaky toys, chewy toys…all the toys, I love them! I like to get up early to play, but am ready for bed early because I am such a busy body!
My foster mom has me on a potty schedule and that works for me, as I have been accident free since day 2 of my coming here.
I am a social guy and I really like people I really like my kitty friend I made here. I kinda like to be top dog and sometimes don’t play nicely with other pups. I try to eat their food too, which is apparently frowned upon.
I am super about my crate. I hop in there when foster mom has to leave and at bedtime too. I would be happy sleeping with my human if they needed a snuggle buddy. I am an easy going guy as long as I am near my person.
Surely, you have read enough to think “I have to meet this dog!” Well, hurry on over and fill out an application for me, Kirby, with DFW Pug Rescue! Better hurry because I am one cool fella!
Howdy! My name is Jigger and I am 13 pounds of pug mix. Aren’t I a handsome boy?? I have a fawn and black coat with a white chest and am about 5 years old. I was found as a stray and in bad condition but luckily the DFW Pug Rescue has got me physically treated and in a foster home. I am working on potty training and not marking in the house as well as learning to trust my new family. I do like to bark if left alone inside or outside but I stop barking if around my foster family. I really like to snuggle and play fetch but have got aggressive around treats. My new family would have to work with me on my trust issues and running away when doors are open. What can I say I have never really been loved or had a place to call my home. I would do best in a family that doesn’t have young children and that has lots of soft items to chew on. I will even sleep in a crate or in a dog bed at night if that works best for my forever family. Please pick me on your adoption application. I am really a sweet boy that wants lots of love and a nice forever home.
