Hey, do you have a separate use for dog parks in your zoning

  1. definition?
  2. is it lumped in with places where you allow dog kennels?
  3. If they are not public parks, but private, do you require any special standards? lot size? gated?
  4. would you not allow them in resource protection areas or by large bodies of water or regulated streams/wetlands?
  5. anything else?

My understanding is that Planning Commission matters should not be presented to the PC by the city planning staff until they meet all administrative requirements.

The Planning Commission then hears the matter and renders a recommendation to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen.

If an item is disapproved or requires further...

The report regarding climate change came out and contradicted everything that Trump says about it.

But the biggest question is what can each of us to to help the environment? 100% serious and sincere knowing that we can’t wait for the federal government to do something about it. We need to be the change.

Personally, I am going to plant several trees on my property, we are going to reduce miles traveled, will be eating at home quite a bit more, shorter showers and bath...

So I'm considering whether I not I want to apply for/enroll in an online Doctor of Public Administration program with Liberty University. The things that appeal to me about it are that it is 100% online, it's local, and I have several friends that are professors there. While LU is never going to be known for it's academic rigor, there aren't a lot of DPA programs in the first place, let alone options to do it online. I know enough teaching faculty there to not question the merits of the...

I'm starting to think about my AICP essays to apply for taking the November 2016 exam. My one job where I was a municipal planning consultant in New Jersey comprises 65% of my experience. Anytime I prepared site plan reviews, comp plan elements, etc., it went through my bosses and then to town officials.

For AICP essay criteria #3...
