Back with my Style For Every Body squad, and I’m excited to share this month’s style theme:  cute summer jumpsuits!  Jumpsuits are one of my favorite styles to wear. Mainly because they’re the perfect “in-between option” when you need something semi-dressy but don’t want to look too out of place.  However, cute summer jumpsuits can definitely be a bit tricky to find and style depending on your body shape. So I’m excited to be back with my Style For Every Body babes to share our picks for tall, pear-shaped, curvy, and petite body shapes!

Cute Summer Jumpsuits for Every Body

Can you believe that we actually didn’t coordinate our outfits beforehand?  We had a good laugh at just how well color-coordinated we were, totally by accident!

I love Amazon for basically everything and have actually been LOVING their fashion!  While I’ve had my fair share of misses, this jumpsuit is one of my favorite wins.  I love the blue/white stripes.  Plus the fit is flattering, easy, and perfect also for Fourth of July. Just add some red lipstick and you’re good to go!

The cropped pant leg cut on this jumpsuit actually ended up almost full length on me. But I personally found it elongating for my short legs.  Plus, it has pockets!!

Now that my kids are getting a little older at 4 and 7 years old, it’s been easier to do a little more traveling!  I’ve had a few amazing trips already this year –I did Hawaii in April, Bahamas in May, and most recently, Anaheim, California in June.  Traveling is incredible for the experiences and memories, but I’ll be the first to say that there are almost always unexpected expenses that come up that can be a bit stressful on the wallet.  In turn, I’ve just gotten smart about saving money on travel so I’m sharing my top 5 tips below!

Introducing Ibotta

Have you heard of the smartphone app Ibotta? Ibotta is a cash back app for your smartphone that makes it super easy to earn cash back on your everyday purchases.  The app is completely free to download and use on iOS and Android — plus there are never any subscription fees or prompts for in-app purchases!

I actually started using Ibotta when I first heard about it nearly 3 years ago, primarily to get cash back at stores I was shopping at such as Walmart, Target, and CVS (more on that later).  But now that I want to go on more trips, I’ve been taking advantage of all the travel deals within the app!

Tip #1: Fly for a Deal

Flying is almost always the most expensive aspect of the trip as it’s four seats that we need to purchase for me, my husband, and two kids.  Now when I make my reservation, I start with Ibotta and get cash back through their partners such as Orbitz, Expedia, Hotwire, Priceline, and Travelocity just to name a few (e.g. it’s 5% cash back at Priceline, which is huge considering the price of typical airline tickets!).  The price I pay isn’t any different when going through the app, and I earn cash back on every purchase regardless of my flight destination!

Tip #2: Save on Lodging

Next up comes figuring out where I’ll be staying when I’m on a getaway.  I love trying out boutique hotels or booking a vacation home for a more unique experience.  Regardless of whichever route I end up deciding on, Ibotta makes it so easy to save as I can click through offers at Hotels.com, Booking.com, and HomeAway.  With deals such as 6% cash back, it’s surprisingly easy to get a quick $100 back on hotel reservations!

Tip #3: Pack Up & Save

I recently upgraded my luggage as my old set was starting to fall apart, and I love that I can get a deal at eBags through Ibotta!  Whether it’s a suitcase, packing cubes, or even toiletry kits, I can earn easy cash back on all the travel essentials!

Tip #4: Eat, Drink, and Get Cash Back

Ibotta also has numerous options if you’re looking to save while dining out!  Popular cash back options include Olive Garden, Applebee’s, and Steak ‘n Shake (yum!) by using the Pay with Ibotta feature, but if you’re not in the mood to go out, you can also save on food delivery through services like GrubHub, DoorDash, and Postmates.  And if you’re like me and need a little morning pick-me-up, Ibotta lets you earn a hefty 10% cash back at Peet’s Coffee too!

Another money-saving travel tip is to make a stop at the grocery store on your first day.  I like to have a few snacks and bottled water on hand wherever I’m traveling and Ibotta makes saving money incredibly easy by simply uploading your receipt to the app.  Oftentimes there’s even a cash back offer just for uploading a receipt to the app, with additional offers if certain items that have promotions are also purchased.

we stopped at the grocery store first thing on our Anaheim, CA trip and stocked up on snacks!

Tip #5: Enjoy the Local Scene on a Dime

I’m always up for new experiences when I’m traveling and Ibotta offers several different ways that I can check out a city while earning cash back.  Groupon is one of my favorites as I can search in the “Things To Do” category and get deals on popular local attractions in addition to earning cash back through Ibotta — it’s like stacking coupons!  Similarly, if there’s a show that I’m interested in, Ibotta has partnerships with Ticketmaster and SeatGeek where I can go and find tickets. I love that Ibotta lets me be spontaneous and still save money even if I don’t have my entire itinerary planned in advance!

And of course, what’s a vacation without a little shopping?  For those days when the guys are off playing golf or wanna do their own thing for an afternoon, I use it as an opportunity for the girls to do a little shopping!  In particular, I love hitting up the mall when I’m on vacation, and Ibotta allows me to earn cash back even on my in-store purchases in places such as Old Navy, American Eagle, and Athleta by using Pay with Ibotta!

Let me know if you have any travel plans coming up!  Be sure to use Ibotta to save on your next getaway and save extra on just about everything from tickets, lodging, and dining/eating/shopping adventures!

I’m so excited to finally share this Trunk Club Nordstrom post with you guys as it is so long overdue!  You may remember that I signed up for Trunk Club Nordstrom a few months ago and it has been a delivery that I look forward to every month.  If you’re not familiar with Trunk Club Nordstrom, it’s like having a Nordstrom stylist basically picking and sending outfits to your home at a frequency that you specify.  Trunk Club Nordstrom is actually owned by Nordstrom and the clothing that is selected are all the latest pieces that you can buy at Nordstrom.  There is also the added benefit of also having Nordstrom’s amazing customer service and return policy as well with Trunk Club Nordstrom— plus it’s completely free if you own a Nordstrom card (otherwise there is a $25 stylist fee)!

I have my boxes delivered on a monthly basis and the pieces that my stylist, Grace, has selected have been some of my new favorites.  I’ve requested a combination of work, casual, and vacation pieces depending on events happening in my life and she has delivered every time!

Hello!  Happy Sunday and a Father’s Day to all the father figures in your life.  I’m popping in with a Sunday post as one of Ann Taylor just kicked off their summer cyber sale where it’s 50% off everything with free shipping (code SUMMER)!  I shared a dressing room try-on last week but also wanted to tell you about these white shorts that are selling like crazy and need to be part of your summer wardrobe!

I love the crisp clean vibe of white in the summertime and it’s been on my list to find a cute pair of “dressier” (i.e. non-denim) white shorts for a while now.  Ann Taylor has always been a go-to for pieces that are polished so I was particularly excited when I spotted this pair in their latest new arrivals!  The 4″ inseam gives it a slightly longer length to provide more coverage and I just love the waist tie addition to give it something extra.  With 6 different colors to choose from (including a neutral olive color that’s only $20!), this is a pair of shorts that I’ll be wearing on repeat!

It’s that Friday feeling, y’all!!  So excited to be kicking off the weekend with one of my favorite posts.  My fellow girlfriends and I have been loving these monthly Style For Every Body series posts, and June is all about shorts!  I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with denim shorts personally as it’s so hard to find a pair that isn’t too tight in the thighs, too short or too long to either make me look like a teenager or make my legs look stumpy… The struggle!!

Lauren, Ginger, Meredith and I are all different body types so we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share each of our favorite pair of shorts to help you find a pair that you love just in time for summer.  We have so much fun every time we get together and I just love the body confidence that these babes have — it’s all about feeling comfortable in your own skin and finding clothes that make you feel good is so important!

I actually was in a bit of rush when putting together this outfit and couldn’t find the actual denim shorts that I wanted, but went with my second favorite pairBlankNYC is a brand whose denim lineup I love (their busted knee jeans are a staple) so I had a good feeling when I bought these shorts in a similar style and wash.  They do run a bit shorter than I prefer but love the way they look from behind and the fit in the waist/hips is perfect otherwise.  Paired with tall espadrille wedges, I think they actually make my legs look long!

For other petite-friendly shorts, other go-tos include Abercrombie (own and love this pair and this pair) as well as Express (own and love this pair!).

Meanwhile, don’t tell anyone but I double up this scalloped swimsuit as a bodysuit!  The one-shoulder design is a favorite of mine as I feel it actually slims my face and I just love the scallop detailing.  The polyester fabric actually makes it such that it doesn’t really look like a swimsuit and it really sucks you in from all angles without being too constricting!  I would recommend sizing up as it runs small (I’m wearing size 2 here but should’ve sized up to the 4).

And because the right shoes are really the finishing touch when it comes to styling shorts, I’m sharing some finds that caught my eye below.  I personally love pairing a taller espadrille wedge with shorts in the summer as it adds extra height while still being walkable.  The ones below are all well below $100 too!

Hello!  I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve checked in and can’t believe it’s June already.  This week has been a busy juggle of transitioning the kids to their summer school programs and also some exciting potential developments on the work front that I hope I can share with you all in the coming weeks!  In the meantime, now that it feels like summer has unofficially started, I’m here for all the laid-back summer vibes when it comes to getting dressed!

I’m a summer baby and once the weather warms up, I am here for it!  The latest trends for summer are here already and the best part is, they’re so easy to incorporate into your existing wardrobe.  No need to break the bank and y’all, you won’t believe where I found today’s outfit that I’m featuring:  WALMART.  It’s been a hot minute since I shopped at Walmart but I’ve actually been doing a double take every time I see pieces from their We Dress America collection.  Not only is it on point when it comes to hitting the trends, but the quality and fit will definitely exceed your expectations (I know it did for me!).  I’m so excited to be partnering with Walmart to share an incredibly cute outfit that checks off three of summer’s hottest trends and will have you rocking the season of sun in style!

Dress: Smocked Off Shoulder Floral Maxi (S) – comes in 3 colors! (similar)

Summer Trend #1: Tropical Prints

This season it’s all about the bold prints that bring on the vacation vibes.  Think floral prints, palm leaves, and of course, all the bright colors!  I saw this gorgeous maxi dress and instantly fell in love.  With three different color options to choose from, I do love that they are all variations on a semi-neutral color palette and pair easily with almost any skin tone.

The smocked bodice is stretchy, forgiving, and incredibly flattering.  The tulip skirt opening may just be my favorite detail, and I love that it gives a peek of leg while still providing full coverage.  Draping of the sleeves adds an elegant touch and even as someone who has bigger arms, I was initially wary that the sleeves might be too tight, but thankfully they’re not at all!  And while one review did mention this dress being sheer, I personally didn’t find it to be see-through and am not wearing any sort of slip or Spanx underneath in case you’re wondering.

Tropical prints are such a fun trend to have fun with and Walmart actually has so many cute styles to choose from!  Linking those that caught my eye below:

Summer Trend #2: Woven Bags

Summer is all about lightening up and no better way to do it than with woven handbags.  I love these bags as they force me to simplify and minimize what I keep on hand every day.  Whether it’s straw, wicker or raffia, this style just gives off that carefree vibe that puts me in instant beach mode!  I am absolutely IN LOVE with this cute pom pom handbag and cannot believe the affordable $30 price point.  It’s a perfect size especially if you’re petite and it has the option of being carried by the handles or over the shoulder with an attached shoulder strap.

I’ve rounded up some amazing woven handbag options below (definitely check out the entire Eliza May Rose line as it’s one of my favorites at Walmart right now!):

Summer Trend #3: Straw Hats

Hats are a summer essential, and they’ve saved me from getting too much sun on so many occasions!  Good thing too is that hats are the perfect statement accessory and a perfect as a finishing touch to that cute summer outfit.

I personally love a big floppy straw hat and this one I found is a keeper for sure (I’m telling you, the Eliza May Rose line at Walmart is FIRE!!).  Two details that I was pleasantly surprised to discover are (1): the hat is actually adjustable via strings on the inside brim that you can tighten, and (2) the hat is actually sturdy enough to not fold in or droop on itself!

If you’re going on a sunny vacation, I also highly recommend picking up a packable, foldable visor hat.  My mom has let me borrow hers on previous trips, and they are a lifesaver!!
