My first innisfree experience was in Singapore where I stumbled upon the ‘no sebum’ line. I loved it so much so I bought (hoarded) more when I went to Hong Kong! I also tried out their Jeju volcanic pore foam and the jeju sparkling mineral essence. I only tried a few of their products back then since I didn’t want to get overly attached to their products since it wasn’t available in the Philippines. Last year, KTO (Korean Tourism Organization) Manila flew some bloggers (Tricia and I included) to Korea and luckily, innisfree Flagship Store and Green Cafe in Myeongdong was on the list of the places we visited! Boy oh boy, did we have (too much) fun! Here’s a link to the blog entry [read more]. I remember how much I wished for them to open here in Manila and now, my wishful thinking is finally a reality! Amorepacific, one of the world’s largest cosmetic companies is finally bringing innisfree, Korea’s number one natural beauty brand to Philippine shores. Who else thinks Yoona is the perfect endorser?? Her skin is always so bright and fresh! Was lucky enough to have been invited to the pre-opening event a few days back. […]

Keihan Universal Tower Hotel Farrah and I stayed the Keihan Universal Tower Hotel which is the largest official hotel in Universal Studios Japan! Among the three, this is the most budget friendly hotel. The staff and front desk personnel are very polite and helpful, rooms are comfortable and very clean! You can also fullfill your Disney princess dreams at the lobby — I mean, look at that staircase and massive cake display! It’s also a very short walk to the main park entrance and the hotel is surrounded by food establishments and shops. Hotel Keihan Universal City Keihan hotel on the other hand has a Hollywood art deco concept.I wasn’t able to take photos in the hotel since we arrived really late but I’m so glad we were able to dine at their famous World World Buffet.  Food was great! Oh and PS: when in Japan, drink all the melon soda! Hotel Kintetsu  If you have kids (or […]

Hi, guys! Sorry for the very long hiatus from blogging! Anyway, last June, I flew to Osaka with my good friend Farrah; it’s our first time to travel abroad together! The trip was arranged by JTB Philipines so we didn’t need to worry about anything! Like I always say, if you’re planning a trip to japan (especially if it’s your first time, I highly recommend JTB)! Our first stop straight from the airport was Osaka Castle. I consider myself lucky that I got to visit the second time around (hopefully, not the last!). The construction of Osaka Castle (大阪城, Ōsakajō) started in 1583 on the former site of the Ishiyama Honganji Temple, which had been destroyed by Oda Nobunaga thirteen years earlier. Toyotomi Hideyoshi intended the castle to become the center of a new, unified Japan under Toyotomi rule. It was the largest castle at the time. Here are 4 things you can do while you’re in the area! Enjoy the Beautiful Scenery — it’s going to be a bit of a long walk from the bus parking area to the castle so why not use this time to enjoy the view, and take lots of photos! 2. Shop and Dine in the Miraiza — it is situated right in front […]
