LONDON – Ireland Men’s cricket team held their first training session at Lord’s Cricket Ground ahead of the Test match starting Wednesday – wicketkeeper-batsman Gary Wilson and Head of Physiotherapy Mark Rausa shared their thoughts.
The Irish Men’s Academy fell to a five wicket defeat to the English u19 side yesterday in Loughborough. However, there were some good individual performances throughout the side and a lot to learn from going into their second fifty over clash with the same side tomorrow.
There were nail biting wins for both Railway Union and Ardmore as they both defended their targets brilliantly to advance to the Semi-Finals of the Clear Currency National Cup. There was also a comprehensive win for Terenure as they will also be in the draw which will be made tomorrow.
Both Phoenix and Pembroke have progressed to the Semi-Final stage of the Clear Currency Irish Senior Cup, as the two Leinster sides both came out on top over Northern opposition. The other two semi-finals are due to take place next Sunday.
