Marketing is all about presentation. It’s that main factor which acts as a magnet and attracts every other customer to buy a certain product. Generally, every business needs a marketing team to effectively advertise its products or services and steal the show from its competitors. If you’re a marketing professional and it happens that you’re striving to get a job, then you must have the notion of the importance of a resume in the process. After all, a CV is the first thing that a recruiter sees. It’s the medium through which you can communicate your skills and experience to the recruiter. But all of this is the basic thing.

What makes a resume most appealing is what we should focus upon. There are many websites out there who play a role in educating people about all the necessary elements. Some of the recommendations we have gathered so far are:

1) You should never forget giving your contact information which can include your present contact number, email address, and correspondence address.

2) Your CV should have a summary which dictates the background of your professional work. Or, if you are just a novice entering the market, then instead, you would have to state your objective of application for the job opening.

3) The presentation of your experience after the summary should be in a reverse-chronological order. This means that you should state the most recent experience first.

4) Following the experience, there is a need to provide educational background in the reverse-chronological order.

5) Apart from these, you can add all the certification that you have received; any awards or distinctions.

Every website is going to tell you these 5 basics things. Yes, they hold immense importance, but even if a CV has all these elements, it can still go into a trash can (sorry).

How Can You Change The Fate Of Your Resume?

Well, the answer’s simple: through Artificial Intelligence that is incorporated into their system by the free resume builder Glever.com.

How?

Every element has its own importance in a resume, but the most important aspects which can let you grab a job opening are your skills. The skills define who you are and why are you suitable for the marketing job that you are seeking. If you have them properly incorporated into the description of your work experience, you can have your resume stand out from the rest profusely. This is where the AI comes in handy.

How to Write a Marketing Resume with AI?

To do that, you need to go to the Glever.com website and then follow the steps mentioned below.

1) Click on “Create Resume”

2) Select the right information from the prompt. Add your name, email, experience level and career field. You can find the “Marketing” under the Sales, Marketing & Customer Services.

3) Add your work experience. You can enter the details of your previous jobs. To have the AI help you enter the right information with the right keywords, all you need to do is click on the “Customize by Skills”. The automatic sentences generated by the AI would be displayed shortly. You can select any of them based on your experience and job description.

4) The same way you can add your educational background.

5) As for adding the other fields, there is an option called “Add More Sections”. By clicking on that, you can add any desired section to your CV. The AI would help you in each of them.

6) Once you have added all the necessary sections to your resume, you can edit the “Summary” of your professional background. By clicking on it, you would be taken to the summary prompt where AI would help you curate the most effective summary.

7) You can conclude your resume by hitting the “Finish Resume”. The document can be downloaded as a pdf file. You can also give it a specific look by choosing among the many templates given.

The AI of the Glever.com is not only a platform where you can create the CV of your dreams; it can also help you hunt for the job openings that are relevant to your skills and experience. So, if you want to be inducted as a marketing professional, visit the website now.

Studies conducted recently by the Society of Human Resource Management reveal that most human resource managers identify poor work performance in employees with personal finance troubles. So, is your career really at the mercy of your personal finance? The answer is yes. In fact, personal finance issues affect nearly all aspects of your life, from your career to relationship and so forth. These problems take your focus from other things in life, and worst of all, distract you from work.

That merely adds up to poor performance. It is not surprising that some organizations are taking the initiative to conduct training programs for their employees on effective personal finance management. Growing and developing in your career can be difficult with outside influences disrupting your focus but below is a look at how you can make the change needed to keep your career on track, despite your personal finances.

Ending the Cycle

No one wants to see their career go down the drain for whatever reason. Personal finance issues can be a serious menace, and if not addressed well, they may jeopardize your career.

Is there a way to put an end to the cycle of personal finance struggles? Luckily, there is a way out! While your career may be at the mercy of your personal finance, there are a number of ways to ensure you stay on track.

Focus on Work

Spend every minute at work with a simple goal in mind; giving the very best to your company. Keep in mind that if your work is affected, you will not only be worrying about your financial issues but also work-related issues. Since you do not want to end up jobless, keep your focus at work and a slew of troubles will be the least of your worries.

Fully Utilize Resources

As mentioned earlier, some organizations take the initiative of providing educational programs to their employees. These programs are meant to grow and develop staff. If financial management education just so happens to be a program offered, by all means, jump on it. You might learn about options for consolidating outstanding debt, or techniques for improving your personal credit score. If there is no such thing, you can still call up your HR representative to ask about available resources.

Face the Bull

Sometimes you are better off taking the bull by its horns. So why not simply take some time and talk to your manager about the problem to see if there is a way around it. If you resort to scooping from your retirement funds, it would be advisable to ensure you have an effective solution for restoring your savings.

Your personal financial problems can affect your career; however, you do not need to worry much about the problem. Focus on your work, fully utilize resources and take necessary actions to attain financial stability.

One of the biggest challenges that faces employers and HR departments across the world is the slow adaptation to change by their staff. Sometimes, wide scale corporate change is necessary, but the workplace culture doesn’t catch up according to a study by Forbes. As a prospective employee of any given company, it can be advantageous to demonstrate that you have the soft and hard skills needed to change and adapt to new ways of working.

The recruitment process is being galvanized year on year, and now even artificial intelligence influences recruitment. To help you get ahead of the pack, here are the key skills and trends in a modern workplace that you can show you’re ready for.

Automated work processes

When a business hires you, or rolls up a new process, the cost isn’t just in the product or paying your salary. There are huge overheads associated with administration, accommodation, hardware and expenses. MIT found that a $50,000 salary employee can cost over $70,000 as a result. Be aware, then, that HR and businesses are increasingly employing AI and automated processes. Developer Advance Systems has suggested that completely automated AI processes may soon become commonplace.

To prepare for this, make sure you maintain computer literacy skills, so you can navigate these systems and provide satisfaction to your would-be employer through smooth running.

Committed to learning

As wages rise across the country, recruiters and HR departments are working with L&D to develop new schemes concerning getting the right skills in their business. What does this mean for you? Whilst typically many companies would look for specialists, those wage rises mean that the costs can be prohibitively expensive. However, the requirement for skilled persons is still there, and PwC have forecasted a skills shortage by 2021.

Anticipate your employer seeking to upskill you. Always keep on top of your skill set and look for angles by which to improve it.

Labor law deregulation

Whether you see the loosening of labor law as a positive or negative is a debate for another day, but the fact remains that the current federal administration are looking to simplify current labor laws. This is generally a good thing for HR departments, as it reduces time and cost from the employee experience cycle. Whether this impacts on you will vary wildly according to your situation, but it’s wise to keep on top of legal developments so you and your employer can negotiate things such as leave, entitlements and salary on an even keel.

The modern workplace is constantly shifting, owing to tumultuous political times and radical innovations in technology. Stay ahead of the curve to make yourself an attractive proposition to employers.

Moving from a normal run-of-the-mill job, which is often only ever intended as a temporary state of employment, and into an actual long-term career is an exhilarating feeling. For many people, it is this transition which marks one of the most significant moments in their life. We live in a society which often defines people by their careers and, as much as we all like to think ourselves immune from such things, we tend to judge one another by the work that we do.

Starting on a new career path is one thing, but in order to reap the maximum benefits, you will need to stay the course and earn your way through the various stages of progression. Some career paths (such as nursing) lend themselves well to fairly rapid career progression, while others require a much more determined and sustained effort.

Whether you are entering into a new career and hoping to advance through it as quickly as possible, or you are realizing that you are stagnating in your current role, then there are a number of things that you can do in order to give your career a shot in the arm. Here are some of the easiest and most effective ways of giving your career a boost and taking it to the next level.

Help Others Succeed

This is especially important if the career you work in is one with a heavy focus on teamwork. It is far too easy to fall into the trap of becoming hyper-competitive with your co-workers, a situation which often results in a far less pleasant and relaxed working environment. You will certainly not be able to focus adequately on your own tasks and responsibilities if you are constantly looking over your shoulder and having to keep one eye on the other people that you work with.

Whatever the environment that you are working in, it will benefit you to work to make your boss look good. Your boss’s performance is likely to have a significant influence on how the company that you work for views your branch or location’s overall performance. Helping your boss out will also make them like you more, this in itself will make your working life much easier.

Be Part of the Solution, Not the Problem

When crises inevitably strike, or things just aren’t running as smoothly as they should be, then you can either be proactive in helping to find a solution, or you can resign yourself to your situation and become more deadweight. You should always try and put yourself at the front of solving any challenges which arise in the workplace, bring new ideas to the table and help your colleagues to refine theirs.

Take a Course

The internet can put anyone in touch with the right course for their particular skillsets and desires. There is nothing that can’t be learned online these days, and many of the easiest skills to learn are also the ones that will make the biggest difference to your career. Not only can you use the internet to learn some highly marketable skills, such as coding, you can also take a course such as the General Assembly Career Development course, which is designed to use specific workshops on key job elements such as interviewing, to help you further your career.

Always Plan Ahead

If you are the kind of worker who just sits around waiting to be told what to do, then you will find it hard to justify your salary or position within the organization that you work for. The last thing that you want to be is expendable! Try and understand the strategic direction and goals of the business you work for and then start devising ways of getting there.

A truly astute worker will be mindful of not only what needs to be done right now in the present moment, but also how actions and decisions in the present will affect the future. Staying ahead of the curve will demonstrate the value that you bring to the business and will also mark you out as one of the more thoughtful and motivated employees on hand.

Build Trust

Trust is a valuable asset to have, it is the only way that you can hope to truly thrive in your chosen career. Advancing through the ranks will be nigh on impossible if you aren’t trusted. You should always aim to keep your word and to make sure that you are complying with any and all obligations; this includes delivering projects on time and within the specified budget. If you can build trust with those around you, you’ll go a long way.

Always Be Learning

This is one of the most important pieces of advice for life in general, but it applies doubly in the business environment. Mistakes happen, they are a part of life that is unavoidable. The measure of a person is not in how many mistakes they make, but in how they respond to them. When things go wrong, be upfront and honest about it. If you bring your superiors a problem and a solution, then they are much less likely to become concerned about it.

Make sure you keep these six tips at the front of your mind as you make decisions regarding your career.

Everybody has different personalities and some people will always be naturally more helpful and supportive than others. If you are the type of person who is happiest and most satisfied when doing whatever you can to make other peoples’ lives better, then you may be considering a career that requires you to do so on a daily basis. As people, we rely on others a lot of the time to help us with aspects of life such as health, education, and much more. Here are some of the best career ideas to think about if you know that you want to spend your life offering support and care.

#1. School Counseling:

When it comes to people who need our help, children are certainly a top priority. The experiences that we have and the people who we interact with when we are young play a significant part in shaping who we become and the choices that we make as adults. Working as a school counselor is not only a very highly in-demand and rewarding career, it also allows you to help shape the future of tomorrow by working closely with today’s young people. As a school counselor, you will be the first port of call for students who are experiencing issues with their family life or education, and it will be your responsibility to help them get through tough times and make the right decisions for a happy future. You can learn more about studying for a master’s in school counseling through the link.

#2. Nursing:

If you want to spend your life helping people in need, then you may be automatically drawn to a profession in the medical field. Working as a nurse or even a doctor or other health professional will put you in a position where helping others is simply a normal part of your everyday life. As a nurse, you will be expected to put others before yourself in every instance and this will likely mean working long shifts, giving up holidays such as Christmas or Thanksgiving to be there for others, and working closely with people you don’t know well to ensure that they are safe and happy.

#3. Therapist:

If you have a knack for helping people through tough times and tend to be the go-to person that your friends and family members reach out to when they need advice, then you may want to consider a career as a therapist. Therapists work with individuals, families, and groups to help them overcome their problems. Some therapists will focus on family problems, for example, marriage or family counseling to help families live together more harmoniously, whilst others tend to work closely with individuals to help them overcome trauma, mental health problems, and more. Whatever kind of therapy you decide to go into, it’s a career that allows you to be of significant help and offer memorable support to people when they need it the most.

These are just some good career options to consider if you want to work in a job helping others.

Assets are defined as items you need to generate revenue and profits in a business, and every company requires specific assets. If you’re starting a new venture, think about the tools and equipment you need to get your business up and running. Once you have your list, you’ll need to raise capital to purchase the assets. Consider the assets needed for these two businesses and the type of planning you need for your own operation.

Residential construction

The housing market may present an attractive business opportunity because the industry is making a comeback after the housing crisis of 2007. To compete for business and succeed in this market, you need a variety of assets

Safety is the first priority in the construction business, and you need to prepare carefully to protect your workers from injury and the customer’s property from damage. Consider investing in these items:

  • Protective gear: Your workers should be outfitted so that they’re protected from injury on the job. Companies can find durable Rx safety glasses online, as well as work gloves, hard hats, and other safety gear.
  • Job site controls: You need to have a formal plan for entering and moving around a job site. Subcontractors and suppliers should understand your rules for trucks and other vehicles entering the job site. You should also insist that everyone on the job site, including non-employees, must wear a hard hat.
  • Workers’ compensation insurance: Every state requires a business to carry worker’s compensation insurance coverage, which compensates workers who are injured on the job. The premiums you pay will increase, based on employee turnover, and the safety record of your business. If you can minimize the risk of worker injury, your insurance premiums will be lower.

You need to address safety as a high priority so that you reduce your risk of worker injury or property damage to the customer’s home.

Starting a construction business will also require an investment in vehicles, tools, and equipment. While you can hire subcontractors to perform some tasks, you may find it more profitable to invest in your own excavators, backhoes, and other equipment. You’ll also need trucks, trailers and other vehicles to move your equipment and tools to job sites.

With proper planning and research, you can create a business plan for a successful construction business.

Online business venture

You can take a very different business route and consider starting an online business that provides a product or service. Many people develop a business idea out of a hobby, or some other area of interest. If you collect antiques, for example, you may create a business that helps collectors photograph and sell their antique items through a website. Creative people, such as writers, musicians, and artists, often develop an audience and find paying customers online.

Assume, for example, that you start a resume writing business for job seekers. Your site has a blog that educates readers on how to write an effective resume. Your site includes testimonials from satisfied clients and the specific writing services you provide.

You’ll need a variety of tools to start your business. First, you’ll need to decide on a website publication tool, such as WordPress, and consider paying a consultant to set up your initial website. Every online business needs a reliable company that can host the website on third-party servers. You’ll pay fees to host your website and expenses for a domain name and an email service. To market your site, you may subscribe to software that allows you to create sales pages and opt-in buttons for your website.

Many online businesses eventually purchase ads on through Google or Facebook. As your business grows, you may need to hire a part-time staff person to manage your website and provide customer service.

Starting any business is challenging, and you must plan carefully to succeed. If you’re starting a new business, think carefully about the tools you need to get your company off the ground.

As the name implies, Artificial Intelligence is the name given to the intellect of anything that is created by man – machines mainly. From Sofia to flying cars, this technology is inspiring awe and adulation in the mankind. And now it has come to an intelligent resume builder. Any machine that has this technology can take decisions by itself without the need of an operator in the front-end. Of course, it would need someone to input data in the back-end since the stage in which it is right now it begs for a coder who codes different responses of a particular machine.

There have been many revolutions in this world with the advent of this technology, and it is said that by 2025, auto-drive cars could be seen dominating the roads. Also, when it comes to the hiring industry, the AI has brought about a change that has reformed the resume creation, job hunts, and applicant matches. Thus, owing to this change, the old-school methods of creating a resume–which involve numerous hair splitting problems–and of job hunts–where possibly applications are rejected by the Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)—are slowly beginning to be rejected.

We talked about the change that AI has brought about in the resume writing. Let us see further how it has been done.

1)It Has Decreased the Time of Resume Creation

Your resume is an essential part of the strategies through which you can make a job opening your own. However, creation of the perfect resume with the right information can be seriously time-consuming since you’d have to make sure that the hiring faculties are attracted by it in the first few seconds of viewing. This can involve focusing on the placement of the fields, the design of the overall resume, and of the length of the presentation of information in it.

While you can sit and contemplate the possible outcomes of various combinations of the above-mentioned features of a resume, or you can simply use a website that has the AI to do that for you in few minutes.

2) It Has Given the Scrupulous Precision to the Job Hunting

The AI used in resume creation centers upon the use of the keywords in the description. As all of the searches on the internet are a game of keywords, by allowing you to use the right ones in your resume, the technology can offer you the right matches of the job opening corresponding to them. Therefore, a perfect resume with the industry related keywords can target a suitable job, and likewise, hiring managers of different companies can search for the right candidate based on them.

3) It can save a Candidate like You from Being Rejected by the ATS

This system too works on the basis of the keywords and it is one of the reasons many candidates are rejected because their resumes do not have the right set of keywords in their description. To counter this filter, the resumes created with the help of an AI can ultimately have just the information that can never be rejected by any filter of the hiring company.

Artificial Intelligence is a game changer in almost every industry; you can make use Glever.com, the AI-based free resume builder, to write your resumes. In the hiring industry, it has offered benefits for both the recruiters and the job seekers through the creation of an intelligent resume.

An impaired hearing ability due to harmful conditions at the workplace is unfortunately nothing new and if that’s what you suspect is happening to you, you should be seeking an injury lawyer as soon as possible. However, what most of us do not know about occupational hearing loss is the fact that it is one of the most common forms of work-related injuries/illnesses that affects workers in not only the UK, but also pretty much everywhere.

As any solicitors will tell you, the saddest part about occupational hearing loss is that the employees in most situations do not even realise that they are hurting their ears. By the time they finally do, the hearing loss becomes permanent in most situations. It’s hard to realise that something is wrong in a workplace, when you have become used to the abuse after years of working under harmful circumstances. To make sure that you are not making the same mistake as others before you at the expense of your hearing, we have made this list of ten jobs which are known to exposes workers to more than 85 decibels of noise on a regular basis; something that can potentially impair your hearing permanently.

Ground Staff at Airlines

If you are a pilot or part of the cabin crew, this shouldn’t apply to you since they are usually not exposed to long term loud engine noise from planes, which can reach and even exceed 130 dB at times. Unfortunately for the aircraft maintenance crew, baggage personnel and the airline ground control, that is not quite the situation. This is why their jobs are classified as being one of the loudest and consequently, one of the most detrimental to the human sense of hearing. They are to be at all times protected with certified ear protection and even a moment’s mistake can cause significant damage to the ear drums.

Construction Work

Drill machines, wrecking balls and other large disassembly units make a lot of noise, so it should come as no surprise that construction workers made it onto the list. They work in places with constant noise that exceed 100-120 dB on a regular basis. Even though ear-protection is something that every company or agency in charge of the operation is legally bound to provide to their workers, the equipment doesn’t always work as well as they should. As a result, a large portion of the hearing-loss related claims made from law firms have a client base of construction workers.

Mining

Not unlike construction workers, miners must also handle high levels of noise on a daily basis. This, coupled with the fact that they often have to work with extremely noisy machinery in closed off, small quarters under the ground where everything is amplified, doesn’t bode well for their hearing. Work-related hearing loss is very common in miners even in this day and age.

Call-Centres

It might seem like a somewhat surprising entry on this list because people do not generally consider call-centre employees to be people who are exposed to excess noise. Nevertheless, acoustic shock is a very real problem that plagues workers at call-centres, reception desks and other fields that require wearing a headset for long periods of time. It occurs as a result of exposure to frequent bursts of high-frequency and/or high-intensity noise via the headsets and if left unchecked, can even cause permanent loss of hearing. If you are an unfortunate victim of such an incident, consult your personal injury solicitor immediately because you are eligible for compensation.

Nightclub Workers

Most people go to nightclubs for a limited amount of time, but if your job required you to be inside a nightclub for eight hours or more every day, hearing loss shouldn’t come as a real surprise. The music is always loud in almost every nightclub and in spite of it being dangerous for obvious reasons, nobody really wears ear protection inside the club. Long-time exposure can and most often will lead to hearing loss and maybe even some additional symptoms.

Subway Conductors

The characteristic screeching noise of a subway car putting on the brakes is as inevitable as anything because there has actually been a lot of conscious effort put into reducing the intensity. Composite brake shoes and well lubricated tracks have managed to reduce the noise to a certain degree, but they can still affect your ears negatively if you are constantly exposed to the noise and that’s exactly what makes the job of the subway conductor a dangerous one, as far as hearing loss is concerned.

The Military

Regular gunshot produces a sudden bolt of noise that ranges from anywhere between 140 – 190 dB and that’s just one shot! Imagine hundreds of those shots being fired at close vicinity near you to have a virtual idea of what the military has to go through. This is not including the noise of grenades, rocket launchers and a host of other ear-splittingly loud weaponry with which the military deals regularly. Hearing problems in veteran soldiers and other military workers is extremely common because of aforementioned reasons.

Industrial Workers

Working in a factory is almost always going to get very loud and it doesn’t help that noise becomes ever so much more damaging for the ears in an enclosed environment. Working regularly in close proximity to ship-building machines and car assemblers that easily reach and cross 100-120 decibels will most definitely result in hearing loss without the proper protective equipment. Do not hesitate to call your lawyers if you ever suspect that you are losing your hearing because of faulty equipment or unsuitable work conditions inside a factory. The sooner you reach out to a legal representative, the better your chances are of getting the compensation you deserve, not to mention, stop the hearing loss before it’s too late.

Logging

Chipping away at trees with an axe is not efficient anymore and therefore, all professional lumberjacks use chainsaws to cut them down these days. 120+ decibels is easily reached while using an industrial chainsaw, and with that comes the chance of causing permanent ear damage.

Traffic Control

Everyone knows how loud the traffic can get during the busy hours in a city, especially when people start honking their horns impatiently. While some of us have the option of shutting a portion of that noise down by pulling up the windows and putting on music, traffic controllers cannot do that. Due to the very nature of their work, they just cannot shut out the noise and must remain in the middle of it all for hours at a stretch. Unfortunately, there’s very little that can be done in this situation as general ear-protection would be in direct violation of the work that they were hired to do in the first place.

While people working in the ten job fields mentioned on this list are usually the ones who seek lawyers for claiming compensation due to workplace-related hearing loss, keep in mind that you could still be eligible for making a successful claim even if your particular field of work or applicable situation is not mentioned here. Only an experienced legal solicitor can tell you about the merits of your claim, so make sure that you are being represented by someone such as Roper James Solicitors; who are one of the most well-known legal institutions in the city.

Here are a few ways to recognise that a career in justice might be for you.

You Have an Analytical Mind

A love of problem solving and analysis is vital for any career in justice. You need to be able to look at a range of information and form fast conclusions in order to do your job well. While many jobs will have an aspect of sitting at the computer in the office, you will also be expected to go out and gather information.

To develop your ability to analyse information in this kind of role, an online criminology programme is a good place to start. You won’t need any prior experience for this type of course, but you will gain a valuable oversight into the industry that should help you to decide which area to specialise in later on.

You Have a Clear Sense of Right and Wrong

Much of justice is about recognising the law and abiding by it. This means that even when the law can be interpreted many ways, you have a good idea of how you would interpret it in any given context.

As a police officer, your role would be to know the law and be able to enforce it. Your role will be to recognise when a law has been broken and to deal with the situation appropriately. You also may have to testify in court on occasion and write reports for public record.

A lawyer, on the other hand, must be able is the law to argue whether or not a crime has in fact been committed depending on whether they are prosecution or defence. While you will still need a sense of right and wrong, you must also be able to advocate for your client, whatever your own beliefs happen to be.
