My dear readers,

I went few days ago to try Chapter 2 – French Classic with Indian Twist at Tresind Studio located at Voco Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road in the Beautiful City of Dubai.

French flavors are rich, but not bold; delicious, but not aggressive.

The new menu takes the elegant and revered culinary tradition and applies playful, whimsical innovation.

The Prices

Menu – AED 350 (exclusive of all taxes & charges)

Bottomless hops & grape – AED 80 (exclusive of all taxes & charge

I loved the Missi Roti and do you know why I loved it a lot?

From the Butter, I love Butter so much…

The Chaat Tart was so good!

You have to eat it in one bite and you will enjoy the taste!

This is the Dahi Kebab Cornetto!

When they served it, at first I thought that the cone was not edible but it was…

Here comes Miss Lilly the Goat.

And inside Miss Lilly was the Lamb Soup that was poured on the below dish called Pandra Rassa.

The Mustard Scallop taste was outstanding!

As soon as you bite the first bite, you will enjoy the mustard taste…

To enjoy the Roasted Chicken Wing, you have to eat it with your hands!

And that is what we dit…

Super tasty!

The below was not in our set menu as we chose the Non Vegetarian menu, however, they serve it to us so we can taste a Vegetarian dish.

It was so good and I guess next time, I will try the Vegetarian Menu

The Black Pepper Lamb Chop is my favourite dish a Tresind Studio.

It is as always divine!

Here ends the starters and starts the main courses.

There was a Mango Sorbet served to clean your pallets before starting with the main courses.

The Steak Curry was so tender and juicy.

It is served with 5 different curries so you can try them all in one time.

The below is called a Kishdi.

This dish is prepared live in front of all guest, they add spices from all cities of India.

I love the way its prepared.

You can watch a bit of the preparation on my Insta Stories.

And now let’s talk about the desserts…

The Payasam served on a Banana leaf.!

The Cherry Blossom!

The Bird Nest!

A coffee inside a chocolate!

Few days ago, I was sitting during lunch time in the office and I saw one of my colleague ordering some food from Woks Den.

When the food arrived, I noticed on the bag a hand note.

I was curious about it and loved the way Woks Den treated its customers.

So sweet of them to write it by hand each and every customer.

The smell was so good that I decided to try them as well and ordered today at home.

Woks Den is a small restaurant that serves Asian Cuisine and is located in Jumeirah 1.

The delivery came on time and below is what I ordered.

Are you ready?

Let’s start!

The Edamame were so fresh and I loved these Vietnamese Spring Rolls that are not fried, yet.

I also chose Made My own Wok with Glass Noodles and Stripped Beef.

Yes, it was so good!

On the right, Masaman Curry with Vegetables and on the left Laksa.

Both of them were so tasty…

And to end our meal we had Kung Pao Shrimps and Crispy Beef.

Deliciou, Yum!

You should check it out by either going and dining there or you can order online…

My dear readers,

I went few days ago to have dinner at Segreto, the award-winning Italian Restaurant that is nestled in the meandering waterways and summer houses of Souk Madinat Jumeirah.

They turned up the seasonal heat with an all-new ‘Italian Delights’ Summer Menu that offers a starter, a main course and a dessert for 150 dhs.

Let’s start with the appetisers.

I chose the Fritto Misto di Pesce, deep fried calamari, shrimps, cream dory and zucchini.

As I was with my friend, we decided to share all the dishes so we can try more.

We enjoyed the Fritto Misto, it was freshly prepared, crunchy from outside and soft from inside.

I loved the cream dory ones…

My friend ordered the Capresedi Bufala: Buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes and basil oil.

It was good…

Then for the main course, I chose the Tagliata di Manzo con Rucola: beef striploin tagliata style with rocket, cherry tomatoes and parmesan.

I asked the waiter to cook the striploin on medium cook, that is how I like to eat my meat.

The striploin was very tender, juicy and cooked to perfection…

And we also ate the Spaghetti Aglio , a Spaghetti with extra virgin olive oil, prawns, chili and garlic.

The spaghetti was cooked al dente.

It was full of flavours, you should try it.

When we reached the last part, I was happy that they had Sliced Fruits in the desserts section.

I loved the variety of fruits…

And my friend had the Tiramisu.

He enjoyed it…

It was a very pleasant night, we enjoyed our time.

We enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the service was very good.

I highly recommend you to try the Summer Menu of Segreto.
