I went last Wednesday to have dinner at Bleu Blanc by David Meyers located in the Renaissance Downtown Hotel in Business Bay.
Gypsy Chef, global citizen and wandering soul, David Myers is based in Los Angeles, but is most often found in his restaurants in Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, and now Dubai.
With Bleu Blanc, David invites you to experience Southern France through his eyes – and palate.
I would like to thank the Head Chef, Chef Alex for the amazing dishes he prepared us.
I would like also to thank the great team for the amazing service and specially for Linchon, first for having recommeding us a great choice of dishes to try and secondly for making sure that we have a great time and that nothing is missing us at any time.
We spent a memorable evening where we really enjoyed every single dish that was served to us.
It was Top of the Top!
A very nice and posh set up!
Let me start sharing with you my amazing experience!
We enjoyed so much the Charred Octopus.
First because they were so soft and they were not chewy at all.
A very well done to the Chef for making these so delicious…
The Wagyu Steak Tartare at Bleu Blanc is not the traditional steak tartare with a raw egg.
The Bleu Blanc Steak Taste has a drizzle of lemon on top of it.
The Butter Poached Lobster with Risotto and Kaffir Lime Emulsion was exceptional.
The presentation is very nice and the taste, mmmm, what can I say, so yummy, I am craving it now.
It is rich but light and subtly truffled.
Can’t wait to go back…exquisite.
The Fragrant Lamb Ribs were very well marinated with Barbecue Spice and Yogurt on the side.
It was not that spicy but if you still find it a bit spicy, the yogurt on the side will not make it spicy anymore.
I am crazy about ribs and these were so tender and flavorful.
For the main course, we chose the Rib-Eye from the Black Angus Butcher Cuts.
Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection as requested on medium cook, the rib-eye was melting in our mouth.
As a side for the Rib-Eye, I ordered the Forest Mushrooms.
The portion is very generous!
They were so tasty…
The King Crab Leg is a must try!
I have never tasted such a delicious king crab leg on my life.
It was divine…
And as a side, we ordered the Asparagus!
And to end with a sweet note, we ordered the Berries with Yogurt Ice Cream and Meringue.
It was a very good choice.
Light yet so tasty…
The below is how the Sweet Brioche will reach to your table before being served to you…
A zoom on the delicious Sweet Brioche!
If you haven’t visited Bleu Blanc yet, make sure to go there at the earliest.
We had so much fun this Friday at TheUrban Brunch at Urban Bar & Kitchen located at the Movenpick Jumeirah Lakes Towers.

The live music played by the singer was amazing!
So the Brunch start with Nibbles that are served to your table, a live cooking station where you can choose what you want and desserts that will be served to your table.
Let us start with the Nibbles.
Loved so much these Breads with on the side: butter, black olive tapenade and some sun-dried tomato paste.
Nachos with Guacamole, Empanadas and Fried Calamari.
The Empanadas were to die for, I enjoyed them so much.
The filing is onion and cheese.
The Nachos were so fresh and the fried calamari were hot and crispy.
Then Chicken Liver Mousse and Baja Fish Taco.
All these were so tasty.
I was so hungry and enjoying the Nibbles, at the same time, my eyes were on the live cooking station and I was seeing Beef Ribs so I had to stop munching to be able to eat from the grills.
The Chef at the live cooking station was very friendly and the smile was on his face
