A little while ago I was sent some SvelteSkinny Jeans and fell in love! Initially I had been debating on trying out the jeans or leggings and after much debate, opted to go for the jeans (I have a million skin tight leggings, very few jeans that can do the same). Based off their size chart and being told to size down, I thought I went with the best possible size but I actually think I could have sized down two sizes! Regardless, I loved the fit of the jeans, normally compression anything is fairly uncomfortable but these ones were actually totally okay, I was able to go out and about with my day without any discomfort (which usually doesn't happen when i'm wearing compression anything). My only complaint with the denim was the legs, disclaimer, I already find it hella difficult for me to find jeans that are super tight all the way, I was hopeful this wouldn't be the case with Svelte but sadly, they were still too loose and a little long for me. I ended up cuffing them twice and was content that although not skin tight, they we're just about right! Overall, I'd give Svelte a 8/10, if they could get the jeans fit down pact I'd definitely live in these all year round.
This Summer hasn't felt like Summer, I mean I normally complain about the weather but this year it's been pretty pathetic, to say the least. If it hasn't been raining, it's been cold (i.e. it was 6 degrees last week). This past weekend has been amazing, it was sunny and warm and only ended up raining a teeny bit. I made sure to spend some time out in the sun and absorb all that warmth before it goes away again. It felt like a daydream lounging out in the glorious ~*~Sun~*~
With the weather finally (or at least mostly) warming up, I felt really inspired to dress more ~*Spring*~ and decided to find something that really showed how happy I was feeling with the weather shifting. I decided to bust out my yellow blouse, fruit rings and my new sunnies from GlassesShop, where they sell prescription eyeglasses, glasses, and prescription sunglasses! I felt like the whole look was exactly what I was intending with channeling my inner Spring vibez*~

I've been living in turtlenecks/high neck tops for the past 6 months (what can I say, it's a work staple) and as soon as I saw this jumper from Junarose I knew I found a new piece to pair with said standard tops. I decided on pairing it with a sparkly one from H&M and my fave boots from New Look. This has now become one of my favorite go-to work outfits since it's so comfy~casual but still practical if that makes sense?
Yatir Clothing launched their Summer Sixteen Collection today and I'm in loveee!♥♥♥ All the pieces are so stunning, the cuts and prints are fantastic! I really like how the lookbook is like a mixtape, it's really unique and it all comes together so nicely! My favourite pieces are definitely the vest and short set, white bodysuit, and this gorgeous dress! What are your thoughts?
I fell in love with this top the moment I saw it on Lazy Oaf, I knew it had to be mine, so much so that I ordered it right away (unlike what happened with the Lazy Oaf x Esther collection! :'( ). I'm highly anticipating Spring and with any glimpse of better weather, I opt to pretend it really is Spring and wear anything/everything not weather appropriate. The top is long enough to be a short dress or tunic length but I decided to wear it with my bowler hat, grid leggings, corduroy shorts, and boots.

Sorry for my late Valentine's Day look but, I'm the Queen of Hearts any day/every day anyways (just kidding) but, I do love anything with hearts on it and that's how it ended up being kind of hard for me to decide what to wear this Valentine's Day. I ended up choosing my burgundy coat from Junarose (which is now 30% off!) paired with a burgundy bralette, disco pants, black boots and my fave heart choker! Maybe next year I'll be super extra and try to do something crazy like 14 days of Valentine's Day looks, wouldn't that be fun?~*~
Fashion to Figure was kind enough to send me a box filled with some cute pieces for my trip to Hong Kong, sadly, the box arrived after I had already left. :'( The weather here in Toronto and back in Hong Kong are totally different so although the pieces would have been perfect for my trip, I had to wait a few weeks for the snow to stop falling. I'm soooo thankful the weather is finally starting to feel like Spring! It's definitely not as warm as Hong Kong (regularly 22-30 degrees while I was there) but it's a blessing after the longstanding winter we just had. This paint splatter dress (similar here) actually sold out before the dress even got to me! I paired it with a vintage faux fur jacket, white boots and my fave sunnies! It was the perfect look for strolling through the gardens!
