I was watching a portion of the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting this weekend and I thought I would share.

Warren Buffett doesn't try to time the stock market, although he does have entry points and price levels appropriate for individual shares. A majority of investors, however, do just the opposite, something that financial planners have always been warning them to avoid, and thus lose their hard-earned money in the process.

Hey everyone. It's past time for my April dividend update! In April I earned $533.96 which is a bit higher than normal because of some stock that slipped into April. Also in April I purchased another 43 shares of PPL and I actually just purchased another round this week. PPL shares have slid recently and even after a strong earnings report this week it suffered a bit (were seeing a lot of that in the markets). I think were close to a bottom here so I thought it was a good chance to average down a bit. I'm just about break even now for that position.

I made one purchase in April and had no sales.

April Stock Purchases
  • PPL Corp (PPL) - 43 Shares @ $27.95 - $1208.99
April Dividend Income
  • Vanguard Long-Term Bond ETF (BLV) - $3.69
  • Walmart  (WMT) - $45.24
  • Pepsi (PEP) - $42.67
  • New Jersey Resources (NJR) -  $97.01
  • Coke (KO) - $23.79
  • PPL Corp (PPL) - $20.50
  • Travelers (TRV) - $8.64
  • Universal Health Trust (UHT) - $33.25
  • Powershares Muni Bond ETF (PZA) - $17.05
  • Phillip Morris (PM) - $14.98
  • Realty Income (O) - $8.50
  • Altria (MO) - $81.37
  • GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) - $50.18
  • Cisco (CSCO) - $46.53
  • Sysco (SYY) - $23.76
  • Annaly Capital (NLY) - $16.80

Total Dividends April 2018: - $533.96

Hey everyone. It's past time for my March dividend update! This month I earned $385.26 which is a bit lower than last year and last quarter. This was due in large part because of the timing of several dividends slid into April probably due to good friday where the markets were closed. So next month will be an unusually large month as a result.

There's some cheap stocks out there that I am eyeing for my next purchase. XOM, PPL, SO and JNJ are looking attractive here. What stocks are you interested in headed into April?

I made one purchase in March and had no sales.

Sorry for the delay.  It's past time for my January dividend update! For the month I was able to earn $416.77 in dividend income! This is a healthy increase from the $336.41 a 24% increase in fact. That would be great to keep that growth up. What a crazy month in the markets we have so far in February as well. I see Walmart has taken a beating today down over 10%, I think the market was looking for a reason to dump WMT as it has been pretty over bought since this summers pump. If it keeps falling back to the $80's I may have to scoop up some shares.

I made two purchases in January and had no sales.

January Stock Purchases
  • Buckeye Partners (BPL) - 31 Shares @ $51.30 - $1590
  • PPL Corporation (PPL) - 50 Shares @ $31.74 - $1587
January Dividend Income
  • Vanguard Long-Term Bond ETF (BLV) - $3.61
  • Walmart  (WMT) - $44.37
  • New Jersey Resources (NJR) - $97.01
  • Pepsi (PEP) -  $34.62
  • Philip Morris (PM) - $14.98
  • Glaxso Smith Kline (GSK) - $39.59
  • Altria (MO) - $76.01
  • Cisco (CSCO) - $40.89
  • Powershares Muni Bond ETF (PZA) - $17.01
  • Sysco (SYY) - $23.76

It was just the other day I posted about what a great deal it was to start bitcoin mining at Hashflare but it looks like Hashflare realized this as well and has raised prices on all bitcoin mining contracts. So if you were lucky enough to join in before they raised prices today you're in luck. The mining contracts were so profitable that you would have met your ROI (return on investment) in about 55 days. Now with the price increase the ROI has moved to around 90 days time. Still fairly good but we'll have to see if they keep prices there. The last time Hashflare raised prices it didn't last long, customers weren't happy with the new price point so they lowered prices again. Well see what happens.

Hey guys I just wanted to update you on my foray into crypto. I have decided to dip my toes into the bitcoin cloud mining space. There are not a whole lot of choices out there to be honest. There are only a few big mining companies that are available to US residents and the largest and best one (Genesis Mining) is sold out of mining contracts. I did manage to purchase a Genesis mining contract a couple of weeks ago but that doesn't even begin mining till next spring! At the moment Hashflare is the one to choose!

Hashflare has 1 year mining contracts available and they are insanely profitable at the moment, you can make your ROI in about 70 days. Bitcoin has been on a tear and I expect that to continue which will only make these contracts all the more profitable. The video below shows how much you can earn with Hashflare but the real power comes with reinvesting your income generated which I have been doing.

I purchased 7 TH/s of mining power which cost me $1050 and in 4 days I already have over 7.5 Th/s through reinvesting. My plan is to reinvest for 180 days and then begin to take profits every other day. So after 180 days I will take my profits one day then the next I will reinvest and so on. That way I can realize profits and continue to grow my mining power at the same time.

Of course none of this is without risk, Bitcoin's price could retreat or collapse and I would lose money. That is a risk I am willing to take, and you should never risk more than you are willing to lose in the first place. Don't go crazy spending your mortgage money or taking out loans on this stuff.

Anyway if you would like to give Hashflare a try here is the link. - Visit Hashflare

Today I would just like to give a quick update on my progress with Bitconnect. In August I decided to invest in the platform and started with a $1380 investment. From that initial deposit alone I now have earned $1234.19 in interest, much of which I have reinvested. That is an incredible return! If I calculate the average rate of return for the past 30 days which is at .89% I can see that on average I will earn $20.64 per day or $619 per month and that's not counting reinvestments. With reinvesting all or a portion of my interest payments I can continue to grow my payments.

I did move a portion of my payments over to my blockchain wallet in order to take advantage of segwit2x coming up but I will continue reinvesting. The daily interest you can see here below and is based on the daily volatility of the Bitconnect coin which is pegged very closely to Bitcoin. See below ..

My sponsor is really killing it, as you can see in the video below. That's it till next month! If you're interested in Bitconnect you can join here for free.
