I’m incredibly lucky that my days are busy with work and other projects. It’s amazing to be able to travel frequently and see the world! But sometimes, nothing beats spending some quality time under the sun with the people who matter most.
The great thing about the Philippines is that it’s always summer somewhere! So my family headed down to Bohol for a bit of bonding time and celebration!
After exploring Paris for a few days, we made our way to idyllic Amsterdam, another European city with a vibrant local culture.
We stayed at Generator Hostel in Amsterdam. It was super cool because it’s in the middle of a park. Even if it’s not in the city center, I still had a good time because they had almost everything to keep you occupied: a restaurant-bar, a hall, a lounge area, with games, a cool basement bar, and more. It was definitely a fun crowd, and unless you were sightseeing, you’re pretty much covered.
Among the many things we ate in Amsterdam was squid fries from this place called De Hallen Amsterdam. It’s a really nice food court with so many interesting dining options.
Stroopwafel was also a must!
The highlight of our Amsterdam trip was doing the Heineken Experience. Miggy and I booked the longest tour, which apart from a special tour, included beer pairings with cheese, and a personalized bottle.
We got to see how they used to brew Heineken before, and even got to see a demonstration of how it’s done. Relive our experience through my vlog about Amsterdam:

It was the perfect end to a beautiful trip to Europe. There is of course, still so much more to explore, but I’ll save it for another time. 🙂
I think Paris is one of those cities that is a mainstay on every person’s bucket list. And with good reason! My boyfriend and I took a trip to the City of Love, and it was every bit as romantic as they would make you think it is!
Paris is the kind of place where you’d love to wake up early to be a part of the city waking up. It was a wonderful experience to see sights in an unhurried pace, like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Domaine National Du Palais Royal, Musee D’Orsay, and more.
Apart from spending our days strolling through old-world streets and parks, we super enjoyed the food! Super food trip! We had must-haves like crepes, both savory and sweet. Look at the size of these things!
The French really know how to cook, and they have a cafe culture that I wish we had back home: spending mornings having brunch, while people-watching over a cup of coffee.
My friend Millie Q, who has been based in Paris for a long time, took us to her favorite cafe.
I’ve been to Paris before, but it was usually for work. This is the kind of place where you really need to have a relaxed mind and immerse yourself in the culture to fully appreciate the sights. And I’m so glad that Miggy was my travel buddy for this trip.
Our days were spent eating, shopping, going to museums and national landmarks, and more.

After Paris, we took a train to Amsterdam, and that was a whole new adventure! Stay tuned for my next blog on this. x
You can’t pass up the opportunity to take pictures in one of the most photogenic parts of the world. I sourced my outfits from LUISAVIAROMA, a store which has stocked a wide variety of designer items online since 1999.
It was my first time to travel to Europe this year, and it was for such a special reason! My dear friend, Camille Co, married the love of her life, Joni Koro, in a breathtaking wedding set against the Tuscan countryside. Siena is another historic city in this region, and was incredibly gorgeous in the summer sunlight.
It was hard not to fall in love with Siena, especially since we were there for such a romantic event! On our first day, Camille and Joni hosted a welcome dinner at Villa Catignano.
The next day, they said their I dos! I can’t believe they’re married! I kept bursting into happy tears, as you’ll see in this photo!
Camille’s wedding was full of vibrance, fun, and love. So much was put into the little details.
Of course, since we were here already, we took the opportunity to explore the city. There are several must-visit places, such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, also known as the Siena Cathedral.
One of my most memorable meals in Siena was at the Michelin-starred La Taverna di San Giuseppe. The ambience was an incredible experience in itself, but the food is what truly makes it famous. Look at all those Michelin star stickers!
I mean, steak and pasta. How could you go wrong?
I had such a good time with my loves in Italy, and I hope there are many more opportunities to return in the future!
Is Italy one of your dream destinations too? What would be the first thing you do when you get there? Let me know in the comments! x
It was my first time being in Boracay since they reopened and I was really excited about finally going back! This was also my first beach trip for 2019 and I was pretty stoked to be staying at the Crimson Resort and Spa at Station Zero. I’ve never stayed at this part of the island before, and I was surprised to see that it’s way more peaceful and serene compared to the other stations—perfect for anybody who wants a little privacy and quiet during their vacation!
I’m also loving how I’m getting more into colored bikinis lately! The yellow one I’m wearing is from Eight Mermaid—my go-to for basic and stylish bikinis.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we started it the perfect way with a floating breakfast by the pool! The staff at Crimson Boracay really made us feel so spoiled.
It felt really great to finally be back in the tropics plus, the view from the resort was absolutely gorgeous! I spent the day getting my tan on and just lounging around on the daybeds, enjoying the beautiful view.
Nothing beats that golden hour sunset at Boracay! I’ve actually missed this island so much; I’ve been to a lot of beaches and islands all over the world but none of them could compare to Boracay’s pristine, white, powdery sand and the priceless view during sundown.
Here’s my girl Trasienne and I just basking in that golden hour glow. We had an incredible time at our stay here at the Crimson Resort and Spa, and it gave me a fresh new look and experience in Boracay. Aside from the best service, they had a welcoming and comforting atmosphere that gave me the R&R I needed. We actually felt like we had our own private resort! I’m definitely looking forward to coming back again soon.
If you guys wanna see what the new Boracay looks like, watch my vlog about it here! I hope you guys like this post! Will be uploading more about my recent trips here soon. x
This summer was full of good news! I was featured on ZALORA’s April cover and I’m close to reaching my first million followers on Instagram. It’s been an amazing journey so far, and I can’t believe it’s nearing 10 years since I first clicked that “publish” button on my blog. Who would’ve thought I would end up where I am now? I certainly didn’t—I just followed my heart and did what felt right—what I loved.
I also can’t believe I’m reaching my first million! I am beyond grateful for the people who have supported me from the very beginning—this wouldn’t be possible without you guys!
Here are some of my favorite photos from the shoot, which was BTW a really fun experience! I genuinely loved each look and I hope these inspire you for your summer looks as well.
Believe it or not, it wasn’t an easy path. During my early blogging days, I was still figuring myself out and experimenting with different looks, until I discovered my own personal style that resonated with me the most. Don’t get me wrong, I still experiment every now and then! It’s never too late to discover something new about yourself and fashion does just that for you.
I can say that my style is constantly changing, ever-evolving, and growing with me. What I love about the fashion industry is its unpredictability. It’s so exciting when past favorites are revived, just like the neon and retro trend in this look!
I’m honestly so lucky to be able to do what I love, and I’m glad there are people who appreciate it too. Blogging is a challenging job, but a humbling experience at the end of the day. I’m thankful for all the amazing people I met and had the chance to work with on this journey.
I’ll let you in on a little secret, the key to staying fashionable is to feel confident in whatever you wear and with whatever you have. You just have to own it!
It’s definitely turning out to be a bright and promising summer! With so much in store this year, I’m embracing everything with a happy and grateful heart.

Throwback to my trip to Bohol for the #LoveAmorita event! I was so happy to be back in this sunny island and staying at Amorita Resort this time around. The resort had a beautiful seaside view above the cliff, and you were greeted by the tranquil scenery of sparkling blue waters, pristine white sand, and lush greenery. It’s probably one of the best boutique hotels I’ve stayed at to date—just the escape I needed!
One of the main perks of this resort is that it’s at the quiet end of Alona beach, and you’ll feel like you have the whole island to yourself. I finally got some “me time” and spent it tanning on the beach while reading this really good book.
I had a pretty awesome time beaching with beach babes Kimi Juan, Patricia Henson, Lissa Kahayon, and Patricia Prieto. We went over to Momo Beach House and ended up surprising each other with our matching outfits. Lol.
Overall, I had a pretty amazing stay at Amorita Resort! You guys should check them out for your summer trips too! I’m actually going back to Bohol this week and I’m pretty excited about what’s in store for me this time.x
It was my first time doing a roadtrip in the U.S. with my friends and I had the time of my life! We drove (well, Camille did and I was the designated DJ-slash-singer in the car lol) for about 2 hours from LA to Joshua Tree. When we got there we were so tired we just had to settle down and get some rest, but when we woke up we were met with the most otherworldly view ever! The photo above shows the prettiest pastel sunset and the calmest sky I’ve ever seen! Joshua Tree was breathtakingly beautiful; the long trip was definitely worth the gorgeous view alone.
We stayed at this cute little Airbnb called the Rockbound Oasis Retreat, and we woke up with a really pretty view of everything pastel! I can imagine waking up to this scenery every morning with a smile on my face. The place was so roomy—perfect for your barkada or family! There were so many bedrooms to choose from and it felt like you were living in your own old-school, vintage movie.
I’m not kidding when I say that this place is literally content heaven! There were so many Instagrammable spots for photos and we definitely made the most of it. Lol.
They also had a really nice pool there, and I accidentally ended up twinning with my girl Trasienne! By 4:40PM, the sun was already starting to set since it was mid-November. Since we didn’t want to leave for the road and miss the sunset, we stayed for a while, took all the photos we could, and just basked in the amazing view.
We’ll definitely be coming back to the Rockbound Oasis Resort and next time, with our boyfriends! If you guys wanna see more of this trip, check out my vlog about it here. I hope guys liked this post!x
