Another sort of noob question...

With a systematic, mechanical trading style, notwithstanding its limitations, if designed correctly you can expect a profit level within a certain range, if executed unfailingly over an appropriate timeframe.

With discretionary trading, even though the trader will operate on his/her same preferred timeframes, markets and instruments, any level of profitably cannot be meaningfully predicted, unless perhaps the trader has been going for many years.

To put it...

I read somewhere, that Norway was heading toward a cashless system, after visiting there it looks as though they may be. IMO
It is one of the only places I have been, where it was cheaper to purchase something on the card, than with cash. There was two prices on an article the wife was looking at, 49euro for card 69euro for cash, so I looked at other items in various shops, the same thing.

Bob Hawke passed away this evening. He was in rapidly failing health and couldn't make the Labour launch last week.

He will be remembered as an iconic Labour leader who remade the Australian economy in the 1980's. However his death will also have a huge impact on the upcoming election.

1) His rapprochement with Paul Keating and their joint declaration of support for Bill Shorten and the Labour Party was a potent signal of unity in contrast to a poisonously divided Liberal Party
