Creating a contemporary R&B Soul track which pays plenty of ode to the old school whilst simultaneously keeps you surprised at each and every subversive twist of the soundscape was always going to result in a blinding single. Which is exactly what you can expect from Darshaan’s upcoming single “Leopard Print”.

Rather than allowing you to choke on excessive romanticism, there’s a reticent feeling behind the single. Because instead of offering you candid emotions, the lyricism offers plenty of imagery to get well and truly immersed within and there’s plenty to be said about the production of the single, which welcomes R&B Soul into the new age.

So, if you’re looking for a smooth and cathartic offering of R&B Soul which sits ahead of the curve, look no further than Leopard Print which London-based Darshaan created with a little help from vocalist Leyma. Yet, from the levels of vocal charisma on display from Darshaan in Leopard Print, it’s perceptible that he needed no help at all.

You can check out Darshaan’s latest single Leopard Print from May 24th, 2019 via SoundCloud.

There are breath-taking debuts, and there’s what Finnian James has to offer through his first single “Another One”. Their ability to orchestrate a single which was fraught with potent emotion at the same time as being utterly transfixing was nothing short of aural alchemy. Appreciation of the soundscape constantly bounces between the evocative pull of the vocals and the ethereal chills which creep from the instrumental arrangement. Each time you hit play you’ll find new indulgent textures to explore.

The level of talent on display in Another One could have only ever come from an artist who has committed to the passion for artistic expression – and it has more than paid off. Another One finds perfect balance between revival and prodigal vision, showing everyone who believed that guitar music was dead just how wrong they were.

Elements of Classic Rock concordantly clash with Folk-style arrangements to create a soundscape which you will never have heard reminiscence to before. Imagine a mash-up between Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Levellers and you may just be able to get an idea of what Finnian James has created with his stunning debut which has already left us insatiable for their next release.

“Sitting in the Park” is the soulfully compelling latest single from up and coming London-based artist Jay Marwaha. Any artist with the ability to make parks in the UK seem romantic again is already winning.

Jay Marwaha’s vocals carry a smooth inviting tonality which have the ability to sooth through catharsis at the same time as offering a deep poised introspection, and plenty of romantically steeped emotion. The track may share the same title as Neo-Soul legend Billy Stewart’s Sitting in the Park. Yet, as nostalgic and reminiscent as the soundscape feels, the contemporary lyricism and vocal style adds plenty of easily found resonance. The only aspect of Sitting in the Park which will allow you to believe that it is a recent release is the pristine finish on the production.

Up and coming Lo-Fi artist NICK THE NATIVE has recently released his latest single “MOONLIGHT MANORS”; a track which proves that Alt Rock and Pop Hip Hop can sit perfectly hand in hand.

It may be a short and sweet single, yet, the amount of mesmerism offered goes unhindered in the experimental track which plays around with tentative pacing and spatial effect.  In short, MOONLIGHT MANORS is a complexly textured single which carries as much pensive ambience as it does evocative energy.

It is tracks such as MOONLIGHT MANORS which have the ability to single-handedly challenge the preconceptions of bedroom pop. While you will never get the most polished single from a Lo-Fi recording, what you get in its place is far more emotively effective. Through MOONLIGHT MANORS, NICK THE NATIVE is able to create a raw authentic connection through his music – which is much more than what you can say about most studio recorded tracks.

Up and coming Ohio-based singer songwriter Chaise has recently released their latest Indie Acoustic Pop single “Far Away”. The concordant melodicism of each instrument which sits in celestial arrangement in Far Away feeds into the fact the single resonates as an indulgent offering of catharsis.

There are few tracks as soulful and pure as what you will hear in Far Away and while not many Pop artists get away with fractured, fragile and breathy vocals, there’s a distinctively quaint appeal to the soundscape which Chaise has created for her third single. As much as I liked the track, I’d love to hear stronger vocals from Chaise in the future which make her passion and motivation behind her tracks even more palpable.

You can stream and download Chaise’s latest single which was released on May 10th for yourselves by heading over to Bandcamp now.

“Manifest” is the masterfully powerful Hip Hop single from up and coming artist V. Aura which unravels through a smooth flow, big beats, and plenty of lyrical depth.

Many Hip Hop artists may like to verse about success in their tracks, but very few are real enough to allude to how they pulled themselves up to the platform which they have through their music now.

Manifest is a polished production with a subtly inspirational message that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. So, if you’re sat in a pool of apathy of your own making, you’ll notice that you’ll find plenty more reasons to pull disparity from thin air. Alternatively, you can tune into V. Aura’s poignant and sobering reminder that life never really owed you a living, but everything is still there for the taking.

“Burn” is the piercingly melancholic single from up and coming artist Kaleb Rudy who uses their distinctive beyond measure Pop vocals to leave you feeling as emotively raw as the lyricism found in the track.

Kaleb Rudy has a perceptible command of vocal harmony, yet in the striking testament of talent which his latest single has become, what resonated more was the fact Burn felt so incredibly human. And that’s not something I often get the pleasure of saying about Pop ballads. But, the slight vibrato tremble in Kaleb Rudy’s vocals is sure to leave a few souls rearranged.

The amount of instrumental progression found in the single was completely unpredictable, expectations were subverted right up until the build up to the monumental climax of Burn. As the single draws to a close, the momentum builds, as the instrumental arrangement increases in veracity and you’re treated high-octane experience that you aren’t likely to forget for long after Burn has faded out.

Slipknot recently made the promise that with their new track they had gone back to their Iowa sound, to be honest, In The A.M. are closer to the mark with their latest single “My Sins”.

Around the volatile energy of the single which was released on May 9th, 2019, you’ll find a solid structure offering rhythmic fury which won’t give you much of a choice whether or not it creeps into your bloodstream.

The growls of the bass sit neatly along with the searing guitar progressions and thunderously intricate drum rolls. Yet, what will undoubtedly leave you will leave you captivated is the vocal range of what has to be one of the most talented Rock Metal vocalists I’ve heard in a long time. The energy which is fed into My Sins through the big choruses and following verses where all restraint is lost will never be something that can be depicted through words. My Sins is a full-body experience.

Very few contemporary Metal artists have the same ability to leave you cathartically enamoured by caustic resonance found within a track. If you were waiting for a time to start getting excited by In the AM, it’s now.

You can check out the official video to the latest single from In The A.M. for yourselves by heading over to YouTube now.

Up and coming artist Ltronnika has recently released their self-titled instrumental electronica album and they haven’t failed to amass plenty of attention thanks to their cinematic style of production which simultaneously offers a unique brand of catharsis.

Rather than just setting up an ambiently immersive soundscape, Ltronnika allows the mix to ebb and flow in veracity making sure that each throb of the orchestral layers is as piercing as the last.

While each track on Ltronnika’s debut album is as deftly orchestrated as the last, “Fantasia” acts as the perfect introduction to the artist’s style. Each volatile segment of the track flows with an urgency which has every potential to let you forget how to breathe outside the timing of the single.
