I know what you’re doing.

Googling away, looking for perfect Colshaw Hall wedding photography to kick your front door down, blow your socks off, and set your eyebrows on fire.

While I can’t guarantee bare feet & a flaming forehead after viewing, I hope my photos at least have an authentic flavour that draws you in and makes you want to see more!

Nicola & Dan were such an amazing couple to work with; complete enthusiasm on the day and such a sense of fun!

"Thank you SO much for being a part of our wedding. We couldn’t have chosen a better photographer to capture our incredible day. You were a dream to work with, we loved your energy, passion, ambition, personality, enthusiasm, quirkiness, professionalism and ability to capture the best photos! You listened to our ideas and took on board all the things we wanted and went above and beyond on the day."

Your Colshaw Hall Wedding Photographer

Colshaw Hall is one of those amazing Cheshire wedding venues that ticks every box.

Wonderful grounds, luxury accommodation, Grade II listed, lake, golf course, fancy hand-dryers, free snacks for the photographer; this venue has it all.

I loved working at Colshaw Hall for Nicola & Dan’s wedding. It’s such a fun venue to photograph! Set in over 300 acres of private grounds, there’s unlimited scope for exploring. It’s got to be one of Cheshire’s most luxurious & beautiful locations to get married at.

Don't forget to check out these other top Cheshire wedding venues too:

A cosy & intimate winter wedding at the Roebuck Inn.

A magical wedding at Abbeywood Estate in Delamere Forest.

A Touch of Showbiz at Colshaw Hall in Cheshire

The bride & groom both work in showbusiness and brought a touch of stage magic to the day. Careful pre-wedding sound & light checks revealed Dan’s background in stage & event production, while the constant jazz-hands and complete lack of bashfulness from the bridal party spoke of backstage entertainment experience! I'm sure this spectacular wedding was their finest production

Did I mention Nicola settled on just the EIGHT flower girls in the end? And they were good as gold!

The Peel Suite

The Peel Suite at Colshaw Hall is where Nicola & Dan's guests celebrated the day in great style. It's a huge space, perfect for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. Spectacular chandeliers dominated the room, while a full lighting setup painted the ceiling with cool colours.  A red-jacketed Master of Ceremonies was on hand to guide the wedding guests effortlessly through the day.

The guests were wowed by the incredible wedding breakfast set up and were entertained by a trio of secret singing waiters. The singers had everyone up, dancing and singing along as the napkins were being twirled. It was a brilliant spectacle and great for photos!

I picked up my third Fearless Award in the latest collection!

Fearless Photographers is my favourite photography community.

“We bring together fearless couples and passionate professional photographers from around the world.”

Every two months they release an incredible set of wedding photos from the very best photographers from around the world. Of all the thousands of entries, less than 2% garner enough points to be judged worthy of a “Fearless Award”.

It’s a tough competition and I’m absolutely buzzing to have picked up my third winner!

You can check out the full winning gallery here.

This frame was taken at a wedding in Oxford. The bride & groom were keen to incorporate university architecture into their photographs. As soon as I saw this magnificent building all covered in white scaffolding, I knew I could turn the slightly cliched idea of a “posed couple with pretty building in the background” on its head.

The crowds walking past just add to the surreal quality; the couple are in their own space, as the rest of the world keeps spinning!

I look forward to sharing the full story of this incredible day soon.

HERE’S TO FEARLESS COUPLES.

KEEP DOING YOU.

Thanks for visiting!

Thrilled to be awarded not one, not two, but THREE winners in the latest ‘Photographers Keeping It Real’ awards!

It’s always a weird delight when I receive such lovely recognition.

Delightful that I’ve actually won awards against such great competition (honestly, go and check out the quality of winners; an incredible display).

And a little weird that the actual professionals doing the judging think my work is worthy of recognition. Yikes.

Photographers Keeping It Real is a real breath of fresh air in the wedding community. They’re all about REAL images and REAL moments, without posing.

From their website: “We created the Keeping It Real Awards to celebrate the very best in documentary-style wedding photography.”

I’m a huge fan of this approach.

Nothing beats capturing a precise moment when the cosmic clockwork has aligned JUST SO, and knowing it will never quite happen the same way again.

Long may the movement towards wedding authenticity continue!

The quality of their membership speaks for itself. It’s very, very humbling to be in the same paddock with world-class photographers like Andrew Billington, David Stubbs, David Scholes & Aleks Kus.

Thanks so much!

Here’s what they said about me:

“Andrew Keher really ‘hoovered up’ a load of awards over the last 12 months and it’s clear to see why… it’s because his photography is FAR better than our puns!”

You’ll understand the hoover reference when you see the winning photograph.

Here are my three winners:

The hilarious flower girl throwing a pre-wedding tantrum (literally 3 minutes before the ceremony) is from the wedding of Stacey & Colin at the Saddleworth Hotel.

The dress being hoovered/steamed and the wild dance floor are from Amy & Paul’s wedding at Great John Street- coming soon to the blog!

Thanks for visiting!
