Tucker Rocky Distributing today introduced the new Tucker, a rebranding of Tucker Rocky that honors the company’s rich heritage and showcases its status as a world-class leader in powersports distribution.

Introducing #TheNewTucker - YouTube

“The Tucker of today offers unrivaled services to our dealers and brand partners,” said Tucker president Eric Cagle. “From distribution, sales and customer service; to marketing, advertising and brand building, we are dedicated to the support and growth of powersports.”

As part of the rebranding, Tucker has introduced a new logo. The forward-facing square and large notched “T” combine to create a symbol of speed and innovation. Bold red was chosen to represent Tucker’s passion to deliver the best brands in powersports. Known in the industry for being dedicated to supporting its customers, the all-lowercase “tucker” is appropriately friendly.

“The need for speed is innate in powersports enthusiasts and imperative as a distributor,” said Taz Sobotka, senior manager of Marketing. “The Tucker ‘Power T’ logo conveys the visual allusion of speed and movement that represents the feeling of freedom we all love about powersports.”

The individual pieces of the new Tucker logo come together as one to symbolize the unified qualities that make the company a world-class distributor. The new name symbolizes the vision and values of Ed Tucker’s humble beginnings when he started the company in 1967. Over 50 years later Tucker continues to deliver the most powerful brands in powersports.

See the new look June 16 on location at the American Flat Track OKC Mile with Cory Texter and his CTR crew, and the High Point AMA Pro Motocross National in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania, with EBR Performance/Altus Motorsports Yamaha and rider Ramy Alves.

Harley-Davidson Returns to AIMExpo presented by Nationwide this October  All-New 2019 Models Will be on Display and Available for Demo Rides at AIMExpo Outdoors!

The American International Motorcycle Expo presented by Nationwide (AIMExpo) welcomes the return of Harley-Davidson Motor Company (Harley-Davidson) as an OEM exhibitor for the 2018 event. The iconic Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based manufacturer will feature its new 2019 lineup of V-twin motorcycles as the show heads west this fall for the first time at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in fabulous Las Vegas, October 11-14. Attendees will have the opportunity to ride the latest 2019 models at AIMExpo Outdoors!, while those new to riding will be able to experience what it’s like to sit on, start and shift a brand new Harley-Davidson with the brand’s unique JUMPSTART™ Rider Experience inside the exhibit hall.

“AIMExpo plays a valuable and much-needed role within the greater powersports marketplace of bringing the industry together as we look toward the future,” said Heather Malenshek, Harley-Davidson Vice President, Marketing. “Last year, in a keynote to show attendees, our CEO Matt Levatich provided invaluable insight into the great need to build new riders as an industry. As America’s leading manufacturer of motorcycles and one of the most customer-led companies in the world, we look forward to interacting with new and current riders in Las Vegas.”

2018 is the 115th Anniversary celebration for Harley-Davidson and AIMExpo presented by Nationwide is conveniently timed right after the launch of the new 2019 Harley-Davidson motorcycles, Parts & Accessories, and Gear & Apparel. The new-model motorcycles will be prominently on display on the show floor, with an opportunity to take each for a ride at AIMExpo Outdoors! As part of the new Powersports Industry Week, local dealers Las Vegas Harley-Davidson and Red Rock Harley-Davidson will have a prominent presence at both AIMExpo presented by Nationwide and Las Vegas BikeFest.

Additionally, as one of the most scenic and expansive riding areas in the country, the Las Vegas area boasts seemingly endless opportunities to hit the open road. It’s an ideal location for Harley-Davidson to highlight the true comfort and performance of its product line and planning is underway to take full advantage of this setting.

“As a show that encompasses the entire powersports industry, AIMExpo presented by Nationwide is the platform to come together and work as one industry to create the paths that will welcome new riders for the benefit of all. It is in our collective interests to join together as dealers, media and manufacturers to showcase the great recreational and emotional experience of two, three and four wheels in new, relevant and stimulating ways,” said Larry Little, Vice President and General Manager of MIC Events. “Harley-Davidson truly understands the key role the show can play to the long-term future health of the industry, and we are thrilled they will join us again, this year in Las Vegas.”

Be sure to stay tuned to the AIMExpoUSA.com website and keep up to date on exciting news as it happens by visiting AIMExpo’s social media pages. “Like” the American International Motorcycle Expo on Facebook, and “Follow” on Twitter or Instagram: @AIMExpo.

Finding Your Las Vegas Day Trip

Usually, when people make a trip to Las Vegas for an event – like the sixth annual American International Motorcycle Expo presented by Nationwide (AIMExpo) – they often think of amazing shows, hanging by the pool and gambling as the top things to do. But for many members of the powersports industry, the thought process is a little different. Adventure is in our blood, so the Las Vegas Strip is better served as the launching pad for adventure, and an invitation to seek out the most scenic parts of Southern Nevada. With its expansive beauty ready to be explored, riding and adventure enthusiasts have several ways to experience the picturesque landscape that surrounds this desert jewel.

For those traveling by plane and looking for a riding experience, EagleRider rentals are offered through Las Vegas Harley-Davidson, which is just a short 10-minute walk from the show floor at Mandalay Bay Convention Center. If you have something other than a Harley-Davidson in mind, EuroCycles also offers additional rental options for your metric preferences.

If four wheels are more your thing, Speed Vegas puts you behind the wheel of a thrilling exotic car you never knew you could have the chance to drive. Speed Vegas is set to host AIMExpo attendees on its own exclusive track with long straights and banked curves to allow for even faster speeds and intense cornering. The unique venue hosts a Cars and Coffee event every Saturday, with AIMExpo sponsoring two events in September leading into Powersports Industry Week in October!

Want to tackle the dirt on four wheels? Just 20 minutes from the strip is Zero1 Desert Adventures where participants get buckled into a Polaris RZR XP 1000 and set off for either a half-day or overnight experience. Traveling with family, friends or colleagues? Zero1 offers a thrilling alternative to explore a different side of Las Vegas for anyone that might not have much experience on two wheels.

Whether you’ve brought your own ride or decided to rent, there is one event that should definitely be on your radar – the Las Vegas Ride For Kids! We know that the powersports industry is a very charitable industry, and one of the organizations that has benefited greatly from its generosity is the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, which hosts the Ride For Kids events throughout the country. In conjunction with AIMExpo presented by Nationwide, the Las Vegas Ride For Kids event will be hosted on Sunday, October 14, and will culminate at the front doors of the show floor. It’s a great event that not only satisfies your need to ride, but also provides much-needed benefits for the kids. We hope to see you there.

Looking to get out on your own adventure? Here’s some can’t-miss spots just outside The Strip.

Red Rock Canyon

For a short but scenic ride, Red Rock Canyon is located just 15 minutes from Las Vegas and is a popular destination for motorcyclists looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The loop inside the park is about 13 miles, so this ride could be a quick one to satiate a craving for two wheels.

Mt. Charleston

Just over an hour outside the city, riders can make the climb up Mt. Charleston to enjoy great tree-lined views. Once you’ve ascended to the top, you can enjoy a nice lunch or dinner at the Mt. Charleston Lodge, which features music in the evenings on Friday and Saturday. The ride may be short, but it is immensely beautiful.

Looking for something a little longer? We’ve got you covered!

Lake Mead State Park/Valley of Fire

For a longer ride full of amazing twists on windy roads paired with beautiful scenery, look no further than the Lake Mead National Recreation Area and the Valley of Fire. The two landscapes are right next to each other and provide an amazing opportunity to see the breathtaking views.

Hoover Dam

In just 40 minutes you could throw out your kickstand and witness one of the greatest marvels of engineering – the Hoover Dam. This is considered a longer trip because we’ll assume anyone making the ride out will almost certainly want to take in the various tours of this historic landmark, but it could just as easily be a shorter excursion to simply enjoy the great views of the landscape that surrounds this immense piece of history.

This is just a sampling of the exhilarating two and four-wheel adventures that can be enjoyed during your time in town for AIMExpo presented by Nationwide.

With perfect weather on tap for October, don’t miss out on a great opportunity to see what lies beyond the Las Vegas Strip.

THE NEW SUZUKI KINGQUAD - IN ACTION - YouTube

As the inventor of four-wheel ATVs and innovator of the sports-utility class, Suzuki engineers took the opportunity to extensively update key areas of the KingQuad as the new body design was developed. Each change was carefully executed to preserve the nature of the beloved and iconic KingQuad:

  • The KingQuad’s engine tuning was refined to produce a strong and smooth power curve with a slight bump in peak power (750 model).
  • Oil-jet cooling on the underside of the piston along with high oil pump output is added to the KingQuad 750’s engine.
  • Tuning of the QuadmaticTM CVT transmission was changed to strengthen and smooth acceleration from a stop and to raise RPM during engine braking to help the rider better control downhill riding (750 model).
  • Every 750 and 500 KingQuad model is EPA emissions complaint, including new California models eligible for Green-sticker off-road registration.
  • The KingQuad 750 and 500 models have a new frame with thicker main tubes and redesigned rear suspension brackets that boost the towing capacity 33% to 1322 pounds.
  • The stronger frame is supported by new front and rear gas-charged shock absorbers that are with new valving to improve the ride and work capacity of the chassis.
  • The rear stabilizer bar is increased in diameter and connects to the lower a-arms via a more complaint bushing to help control body movement and deliver a smooth ride.
  • The front and rear brakes have been updated to perform better and provide better feedback to the rider.
  • The steering alignment is calibrated to create a “natural handling characteristic” to ease rider effort and improve maneuverability.
  • The electronic power steering module has over 30% higher output to significantly reduce steering effort and to damp jolts to the rider.
  • A new handlebar-mounted headlight is added, which illuminates the trail where the steering is pointed, and is controlled separately from the dual headlights in the ATV’s front grille. A new, low-draw LED taillight is also added.
  • The new multi-function dash panel is easier to read with a fresh format and fonts. A new service reminder feature can be programed for mileage or running time intervals.
  • Standard on the 750 and 500 Power Steering SE and SE+ models are new, lightweight, cast-aluminum wheels that bring a stunning new design to ATVs. These wheels are also an option on the other KingQuad 750 and 500 models.
  • Several new Suzuki Genuine Accessories will be available for the new KingQuad, including items like a quick-release plow blade, heavy-duty bumper set and more.
  • Even with the impressive list of changes, the existing innovations and features that constitute a KingQuad remain. It’s the new ATV that faithful KingQuad owners have been waiting for. Here are the new KingQuad 750 & 500 models and trim-levels.
