The opportunity to learn from a world class internet marketer is something I don’t take lightly. The best marketers — like Tim — are sitting on a beach, ranking in money while they sleep.
They don’t need to launch a course.
Tim, however, is always looking to help out. I’ve never had a conversation with him where he wasn’t trying to help me increase my game.
When I heard he was going to reveal his complete system in a course, I couldn’t wait to sign up.
Out-Thinking The Competition
Affiliate-U started out strong by immediately going after market inefficiencies and showing how to exploit those gaps for profit. I fully expected this, but I from a different angle.
Quinton is among my most successful students.
Most affiliate courses teach students to find untapped sub niches and to fight for the micro niche. Tim reveals a strategy that lets him not only go for these untapped micro niches but also find niches that no other marketers know about.
Tim’s strategy moves the affiliate from being a “little player” that can easily be cut from an affiliate program to an irreplaceable asset who can negotiate higher affiliate rates and receive free products.
Until I met Tim, I was only promoting products through the Amazon Associates program. Using his techniques, I’ve been able to diversify my income sources to new providers, many of whom pay higher commissions.
There’s also a lot of training on Trend-spotting that I found useful for my existing sites. The methodology laid out in Affiliate-U gave me the ability to consistently prioritize what areas of my sites needed the most attention for the fastest growth.
It’s that kind of next-level training that gets the student working smarter not harder and brings results faster.
There are a lot of marketers and SEO experts who will sell you on the importance of a strong social strategy. Many of those either have a tool they want to sell you. Those who don’t, approach it like some voodoo that they must do to keep the internet gods happy.
Affiliate-U takes a practical approach. Social marketing is important because it leads to diversity in income. The plan laid out in this course is the most robust, well-rounded social strategy I have seen for leverage off-site traffic.
The over the shoulder videos in this section are top notch and should be a cornerstone of any affiliate marketers arsenal.
It’s all fine and dandy to build a website that gets customers to the door. There are dozens of course that teach that. All of the traffic in the world only matters if the visitors are willing to buy.
There are several modules devoted to conversions and building a brand that customers trust. There are several key features that your site needs and that mine didn’t have. These are all simple elements to implement, but will take a lot of students outside of their comfort zone.
However, Professor Tim takes a lot of time to explain the reasoning behind each trust element and shows how it works in practice. It’s convincing enough that I think all of the students have implemented this training on some level.
It is this type of behind-the-scenes training that sets this course apart from the others on the market.
What I like best about Affiliate-U is that it is focused on the long-term. Most courses compromise sound business building principles to chase a quick buck.
Throughout the course, Tim present solid strategies that mimic the brand-building done by real-world companies. His backlinking methods examples show definitively what needs to be done to build a website that can make money for decades.
This was one of the main reasons I initially chose to purchase Affiliate-U. I’ve long admired Tim’s ability to leverage the quick growth internet marketing offers with long-term business strategies to
capture new markets and stay at the top of the industry.
On top of that, the course offers coaching and connections to a well-known website broker who can help fetch top-dollar for a marketer looking to retire. This was a pleasant unannounced bonus for me as I have several properties I am looking to liquidate in the upcoming year.
Exiting the business is where most entrepreneurs make the bulk of their net worth. Preparing his students for that big day is something Tim takes seriously.
An Over The Shoulder Case Study
I will admit that I was underwhelmed by the case study. It didn’t seem like the niche was that lucrative. However, Tim’s approach is diametrically opposite of what mine would have been.
The secret to Tim’s success lies in his approach. By being above board and creating a website with trust elements, Tim can get product owners on board and excited to have their products promoted.
Watching these deals come together in real time has been eye opening to how little competition is there for those who follow this method. The success of the case study site has inspired me to implement even more the course and not to take it too lightly.
Ongoing Training, Networking and Webinars
While I found incredible value throughout the entire course, the ongoing training has made a life-changing difference in my business. One of the SEO tips that was shared on a webinar gave me an eight spot ranking change to the middle of page 1 overnight.
This training comes out of Tim’s real-world money-making experience and is vital for affiliate marketers who want to have a pulse on what the market is doing.
The Facebook group is also an excellent place to connect with other marketers, share ideas and support each other. Several strong connections have come through there, including an opportunity for me to be on the ground level of a new affiliate program.
The monthly interaction also means that the students stay engaged with the training and we see weekly progress reports from many of the students.
Affiliate marketing is such a lucrative business that it is rare to find someone willing to show the ropes to others. Tim is one of those rare gems, and my income has both increased and diversified as a direct result of implementing his training.
After the video, you’ll have a short form to fill out, and upon receipt, I will personally reply to you and outline how we can work together.
What The Mentoring Program Looks Like
I treat your business as if I’m a partner of yours. I quarterback every move, assign homework, structure ideas, and even do some SEO for you. (See below for a recent success story.)
We’ll meet on the phone or Skype bi-weekly to go over wins, ideas, and keep tabs on the campaign. We’ll also outline the next moves so we are always pushing forward. In between the calls, we trade emails and keep the ball moving, 24/7/365. After all, the Internet Never Sleeps, and every moment of the day millions of people are looking to buy products online. Many times they need to be persuaded into making a purchase, and sometimes they just need someone to help them bridge the gap for them.
That’s where the affiliate marketers step in and leverage relationships to help connect people find products they buy every day. Earning commissions along the way, this is a very profitable way to make a living from a blog.
If you invest in the year long mentoring option, I’ll throw in a membership to my Affiliate U course – a $1,500 value.
What are you waiting for? Let’s team up today.
Have a look at past students and what they have to say:

And of course, here is a shot of the earnings. The Proof is in the pudding, like they say.
I’ve been building an internal database of info-rich websites that are magazine style, built to entertain, rank, and pass any manual eye test. If you have any interest in my private sites, please contact me. (Support AT AffiliateU.com).
If anyone needs a push, I’m taking applications for the next round of students. If you want someone to direct, manage, encourage, motivate, and dissect your business, like a true partner would, apply here:
We are officially back to school! That’s right, class is in session. Over the last year we’ve been busy creating passive income streams online by selling OPP (other people’s property) with simple, yet authoritative wordpress websites.

Affiliate U 2017 – Back to School
I’m going to be opening up the course for the fall from now until September 15th.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing my students replicate the success I’ve had in affiliate marketing! For those of you who are new to this space, affiliate marketing is the art of selling other people’s goods or services and earning a commission in the process.
Now, since I hadn’t posted much about members since Black Friday of 2016, I figured some news was in order. Look for many more earnings reports coming out of AffiliateU, the best place to learn affiliate marketing tactics.
If you are new to this, don’t worry. I’ve set up a 100% free Facebook group where you can get more information.
As we start 2017 I wanted to drop a note to you all regarding some plans for the coming year as well as lend some tips and advice to help you hit your affiliate marketing income goals for the year.
We all have some goals we want to hit this year, and now is the time we usually get all pumped about them and are aggressive to tackle them, but what I have found over the years is that staying committed to those goals is the challenge. We come out of the gate on fire and after a few months fizzle back, so here are some tips to help you avoid that cycle:
Set realistic goals for yourself whether they are content creation, investing more time into your business, learning a new skill set, finding a new niche, etc – make it realistic and something you really want, and put a visual reminder of it somewhere where you can see it every day until you achieve it.
Keep it simple!! Sometimes we tend to over complicate things, whether it is over-thinking your routine, giving up too soon, or just not putting in the time. This is formula! The time put in will yield rewards later!
There is NOT a magic trick, hack, or button you can press that will accelerate your success. Content creation and backlinks are crucial steps that can’t have short cuts. They don’t exist, no matter what some software or guru promises you.
Consistent efforts are KEY.There will be bumps in the road, obstacles that pop up throughout the year, trips, vacations, injuries, etc… do not let any of them derail you. Be consistent in your routine!! In getting up everyday, going through statistics, getting content ordered, placed, and with proper SEO in mind, you are growing your business. Leave the excuses in your rear view, it’s a new year and time to get a new mindset.
Lastly – I strongly encourage all of you to take advantage of the amazing Facebook group we have. While it’s members only, I have created one for non-members right here. It’s a free group where we educate people on what we’re all about in the paid group. Like an educational institution, Affiliate U is a community, and we help one another. So if you surfed onto this affiliate marketing blog and are curious as to what we’re all about, go ahead and check it out. I’ll see you inside and personally answer questions you may have.
I’m happy to say that some of my students really kicked things into high gear this year! We’ve officially completed one full year since the BETA launch of Affiliate U, the training course that shows you how to sell other people’s goods from an internet connection anywhere in the world! That’s right, a web-based over the shoulder video series shows you step by step how you can earn money by selling other people’s goods without the hassle of employees, inventory, and merchant accounts.
Just promote, link, and SELL.
How easy is that?
Well, it’s not the easiest thing in the world – I’m brutally honest about that. Like anything else in life it takes hard work, consistency, and patience. But if you follow my road map, select a solid niche, and execute your game plan that I lay out on a silver platter (I even offer up my best advice for structuring your day for massive success), you’ll be on your way to mirroring the success that my students are enjoying right now.
So let’s recap what happened on Black Friday in 2016.
Affiliates Who Made Money on Black Friday in 2016
Note: this is just a small sample of the earnings reports generated through my tactics. Many people are private with their revenues and business, which I totally respect. These people voluntarily shared their information and earnings, and I commend them on being so candid.

Norman felt he left some money on the table, but $1,500 is nothing to be upset about! Good job, Norm!
Last year, for the first time ever, “clicks” beat “bricks.” Many people, myself included, helped bridge the gap between consumers who were looking for shopping advice, reviews, or sometimes something as easy as a coupon code. Along the way, we stock piled cash and provided a very noble service.
If you’re building a review site of any kind that you intend to monetize, the best way to do that is to add affiliate links of products that you recommend. It’s a great way to make money online, and if you take this seriously, you can make a tremendous living this way.
I’ve always felt that affiliate links need to be cloaked and redirected through some type of a redirect script. Knowing how to do this is not necessarily the easiest thing to accomplish if you don’t have proper instructions. So I’m going to teach you how to cloak affiliate links the easiest and simplest way possible. But before I get into my explanation, let’s look at why you should be cloaking these links to begin with.
Why Cloaking Affiliate Links Is Important
In all honesty, there are many reasons why people decide to redirect affiliate links. All the super affiliate marketers do this. Historically speaking, one of the biggest reasons to cloak affiliate links was to hide the fact that you are an affiliate from Google, Yahoo, Bing and other search engines. Although, the search engines have to know that affiliate links have been cloaked anyway. It would be kind of ridiculous if they didn’t figure this out. But, the reason why affiliate links were cloaked at the start was because these links were intended to be hidden from search engine bots.
Truth be told, there are a number of other reasons why we should all cloak our affiliate links. The top three reasons include the following:
Creates a “clean” link – have you ever seen an Amazon affiliate link? It’s huge, has about 1000 characters, and it’s really ugly. The easiest way to eliminate this ugly looking affiliate link and create a clean one is to cloak it using a redirect script.
Stops page rank leakage – instead of wasting time no following every affiliate link, an easy and less painful way to accomplish the same thing is to create a cloaked affiliate link.
Makes them easy to manage – you may need to change affiliate links for one reason or another from time to time. Instead of physically having to go into your content to change the link, it’s a lot easier to do this from a centralized location.
How to Cloak Affiliate Links Using a Redirect Script
The process is simple and includes the following three steps:
Create a redirect folder. A simple one to remember is /redirect/.
Add the following to block the folder from your domain’s robots.txt file: Disallow: /redirect/.
In the/redirect/ folder, use a script like Pretty Link Pro and redirect your affiliate URLs.
At the end of the day, you’ll appreciate using redirected affiliate links for many reasons. We shared three reasons with you already and redirects honestly make your life so much easier. It’s a lot easier to swap out an affiliate link in one central location than it is to physically go back to hundreds or even potentially thousands of links and change them manually. This saves a lot of time, effort, and energy, and you’ll definitely appreciate this option once you begin using it.
OMG (which stands for “One Man Gang”) Machines has been a driving force in helping me achieve goals. It’s the most comprehensive Internet Marketing program money can buy. With a focus on search engine optimization (SEO), the course also covers selling on Amazon.com, building e-commerce businesses, and lead generation. While it doesn’t stop there, it covers those topics (in my opinion) better than any other course of it’s kind.
OMG Live is their annual live event, and this year it was in Orlando, Florida. I had the pleasure of being a speaker at the event this year, and I spoke for an hour on the topic of affiliate marketing, which of course is what I teach in this video series.
If you are interested in information about OMG and what it’s all about, please visit the OMG Machines review page and fill out the form at the bottom. I have an insane bonus for anyone who joins this program.
OMG Live Recap
The event was held at the Hyatt Regency Convention center, in the Windermere Room. It was a very well put together show. The speakers were mostly OMG coaches like Greg Morrison, Joshua Fletcher, Liz Herrera, and Stephen Floyd, who are all veteran OMG guys. Kotton Grammer was the host and MC, and did a wonderful job of putting everything together. Outside of OMG Machines, Derek Iwasiuk, Ryan Stewart, Alex Becker, and myself spoke and led up to the main event – Jordan Belfort! Otherwise known as the Wolf of Wall Street, this man has been through some ups and downs in life, but he knows selling better than anyone I’ve ever come across. Needless to say, the event was star studded and with 1,200 people in attendance, it was a great event.
The networking is always off the charts. I was able to see my good friend and student Gregory Ortiz. along with many other Affiliate U students. You meet so many people with similar mindsets, goals, and interests at events like this. It’s always good to see people who are at the top of their game, as well as see up and comers who are there gunning to join the ranks. Here’s a few photos from this years event.
I honestly shot from the hip for the most part, although I did have a few slides to guide me through what I wanted to talk about. I wondered if I did a good job as I was presenting, because to me this stuff all seems natural and like I’m having a conversation with myself. When I logged into Facebook and saw these comments, I felt much better about what I talked about.
Next up, Michael Devlin’s Mass Conversions Event at the Aria Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. January 29, 2017. I’ll have a more detailed update shortly.
I’m not going to lie, being mobile and able to do whatever I want 100% of the time (barring some event my son must attend for school or sports) is the #1 perk of being an affiliate marketer. Today I’m going to share with you what the first half of 2016 looked like so you can see what the life of a long time affiliate marketing guru looks like.
What It’s Like to Work from Anywhere
First off, I’ll add that I love to travel. You’ve probably picked that up from my post about working in Grand Cayman. For me, there is nothing more educational than learning how other cultures make things happen and go through daily life. I like to explore, play rare golf courses, (rather – hack around on their course), enjoy local cuisine, and maybe pick up a new language along the way. I believe that getting outside of my comfort zone helps me expand my mind and become a more rounded person. Living in the slums of Nicaragua as an exchange student in the year 2000 was my first venture into “bizarroworld” but it certainly wasn’t the last.
I’m going to recap what I was able to do over the first six months of 2016, and try to recall the play by play as I remember it.
January 2016 Travel and Events
I’m not a big new years person. I like to avoid anything that’s commercialized because it brings out everyone who holes up for 90% of the year and who come out to celebrate like it’s their first rodeo. New Years brings out 50% inflation on the same drinks you can drink #OnaTuesday and has people who rarely drink hammering down shots of tequila and chasing it with bubbly. That’s a recipe for a lot of puke and a nasty hangover.
For those reasons, I started off my year lounging around my house and watching college football. Sure, I had a few libations, but nothing out of the ordinary.
After about a week of trying to kick off my New Years Resolution of getting down to the weight I carried around in college, I had an event in Las Vegas to attend that essentially was one of the starting points of Affiliate U. It was Affiliate Summit West 2016, and I was pretty stoked to be there.
Spending four days in Vegas allowed me to meet up with industry and local Vegas friends as well as attend an event and meet up with new people. Being able to pick up and go there, as well as keep up with all my business online, was something that made the 5 and a half hour trip that much easier. When you add in the fact that most domestic flights offer WIFI services, I rarely miss a beat with work.
I stayed at Aria, which was a change from the place I’m very loyal to, being the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas. It was a letdown, but I wanted to try something different and it was a nice hotel, but it wasn’t a Wynn Property by any means. Vegas was fun. I won some money, saw some friends, made new ones, and left with my tail between my legs after the Vikings lost a game they certainly should have won. Other than that, it was a great trip.
I came home from Vegas and had a full week off to prepare for my next trip to Grand Cayman. One of my best friends was heading there with his family and he invited my son and I to meet up with with him and his family, which made the trip extra special. I had visited the Cayman’s many times, but bringing my son to the beach (and see the joy on his face for being able to miss school) was a game changer. I worked on my laptop on the beach when I needed to and had drink service and shade at my disposal. It was truly relaxing and of course even that much better being able to see life long friends that I consider family.
Would you like this to be your office?
With another week gap to sort out life at home I was quickly returning back to the road as we had our annual Ice Fishing Tournament in Brainerd, Minnesota. While the Ice Fishing Gala was cancelled since the ice wasn’t thick enough, that didn’t stop us from having fun and playing plenty of poker and boot hockey. It’s always fun re-uniting with my college friends. We pick up right where we left off the last time we saw one another.
I didn’t make this video, and it’s from the 2015 tourney, but for those who have always wondered “What the heck is an ice fishing contest?”…..well, it’s the best I can do to answer that question!
Largest charitable Ice fishing contest in the world. Minnesota - YouTube
Business called and I was needed down in Costa Rica to explore some expansion opportunities for my skin care company. It’s never a bad thing to have to be in Costa Rica, a place I lived for several years and enjoy visiting many times each year. I had some Internet Marketing friends join in the fun and watched the Super Bowl from one of my favorite places on Earth, the Marriott Los Suenos Resort & Marina.
If you look closely, you’ll notice I’m holding chicken legs. These were used to feed giant crocodiles. Don’t ask!
With just a two week break between trips, I was called by a great friend I’ve helped mentor in affiliate marketing, Gregory Ortiz. He’s front and center in the photo above on his first trip to Costa Rica. He was considering a move to Puerto Rico and wanted me to accompany him on his trip to look at houses. Hey, I showed him my old stomping grounds, so why not check out a place he’s looking at relocating to?
I’d never been to Puerto Rico and found it very enjoyable. We even put our heads together to get some work done!
Working From Anywhere With Just a Laptop
I was barely unpacked from Puerto Rico and it was off to Copper Mountain in Colorado for some skiing with family friends. Four other families joined my son and I in a mountain retreat where we enjoyed skiing, snowboarding, sledding, enjoyed the hot tub, and each others company for 6 days in lovely Colorado. I didn’t miss a beat with any work and found myself getting more ideas for content than ever being that I was in an entirely different environment.
Our annual Fort Lauderdale family & friends ski trip is all about the kids.
With a week off from skiing, it was time to get some work done. A hard week in the office was spent before going back to Las Vegas, this time for an OMG Machines Meet up. You’ll see my full review of this educational course which is really more like a brotherhood of Internet Marketing Minds, in an upcoming blog entry. If you have questions about it and don’t want to wait for that, join my email newsletter or email sales AT affiliateU.com and I’ll be happy to share my take on this dynamic course.
The event was great, and it coincided with Alex Becker’s book release. I work with Becker, who has an incredible resume already and isn’t even 30 years old, in Source University. I’ll elaborate on that in an upcoming blog as well. To see so many friends and colleagues was incredible, especially because the Vegas sun was a big change from the Mountains of Colorado.
You’d think I’d just want to relax when I was at home in Sunny Florida, right?
Instead, I had 5 college friends visit me just after tax day. While we failed at our goal to catch a shark with the unforgettable “Mark the Shark,” the famous Miami fishing captain, we still enjoyed the time on the water. My son caught this fish below, and it made his day.
Not exactly a shark, but he was happy.
May brought the NBA Playoffs and I was there in row three to watch my beloved Miami Heat. While we ended up losing to the Raptors, they fought hard for a team that was without star Chris Bosh and I’m really looking forward to next season. May once again had me back in Las Vegas where I was networking for the ICSC expo. I also got some down time with friends and was able to enjoy myself a bit more than usual.
On June 9th, my son got out of school and we headed directly to the airport to spend the first 11 days of Summer in Minnesota. That trip just concluded with an unforgettable baseball game between the Twins and the visiting New York Yankees. I had friends visit during my time in Minnesota, which made it that much more special. Showing people around my home State is something I truly enjoy.
As I wrap up this blog post, I’m about to get back to the grind. Writing content, checking out search engine results, and more importantly, looking at sales figures. This was a very brief summary of all the things I recall from the first six months of 2016. I know for a fact I’ve left out more than a dozen unforgettable memories, but when you love what you do, every day is full of memories.
If you are interested in working remote, creating your own lifestyle like this, and having a mentor all along the way, get the Affiliate U Training Course and I’ll look forward to hearing about your own journeys as well.
Breaking: I’ve set up a FREE TO JOIN Facebook Group for anyone looking for information or who has questions prior to the Fall enrollment period.
