Krista + Matt Ashton Gardens Houston, Texas 24 x 30 in.
The romantic arched windows of Houston's Ashton Gardens perfectly framed Krista + Matt's wedding ceremony. Believe it or not, Ben has actually painted at Ashton Gardens’ sister location in Atlanta. We were so excited to hear they also have two locations in Houston! The one constant between each venue they have designed is having the gorgeous ceremony space with large open windows! What an absolute dream venue space to hold a ceremony! AND ... look closely and you'll see Krista + Matt’s beloved Frenchie, Clementine, celebrating there with them! We are LOVING this trend of including our couple's fur-babes in their live paintings! Needless to say, we’re thrilled to share their finished live wedding painting! What a joy knowing they will come home to this painting year after year after year!

Jen + Jack The Planter's Inn Charleston, South Carolina 24 x 30 in. | Oil on Canvas
When scrolling through Instagram or Facebook, I know a Pure Luxe Bride Wedding when I see one. Francesca + Blake are a dynamic duo that have not only coordination down to a science, but have truly fine tuned their aesthetic that I would consider both glamourous and full of love. Jen + Jack's wedding was just that, so full of love with pops of glam! The two said I DO at the Planter's Inn, tucked away in the heart of downtown Charleston. The courtyard in between the hotel and the ballroom provided the perfect, intimate backdrop for their ceremony. Jen's mom commissioned Ben to capture their ceremony as the subject for their live wedding painting. The coral, pink tone to the Planter's Inn is oh-so-Charleston with the iconic palmetto's framing the walkway. Ben really enjoyed capturing the pink-green feel along with the patterns from his vantage point. The ceremony was followed by a reception inside the ballroom - the Pure Luxe Bride team created gorgeous lush-green table runners with glamorous centerpieces. (Their reception could have easily been a gorgeous wedding painting, too!) One of the best parts of hosting a wedding at Planter's Inn is hand down, their culinary experience! (Side Note: If you're visiting Charleston, experiencing their coconut cake is a MUST - just go online and read the accolades for this cake!) Peninsula Grill created an exceptional menu for their wedding day - quite possibly some of the best wedding food we've experienced! Needless to say, from the florals, to the food, to the intimate and iconic Charleston setting, Jen + Jack's wedding day was just perfect! We can't WAIT to share their finished live wedding painting alongside the gorgeous photography from Aaron + Jillian Photography! (The absolutely captured the day perfectly, too!)

Sibani + Apas Waldorf Astoria Orlando Orlando, Florida 30 x 40 in. Canvas
There truly aren’t words to describe how special each live painting is for us … knowing how much each painting means to each couple and family. We dream of their children’s children viewing the painting and seeing the LOVE their grandparents shared on their wedding day. All the beauty of Sibani + Apas’ wedding week was just a reflection of the love they share together … Ben said he has NEVER seen a groom smile as much as Apas did that day! We felt so honored to get to know them and be part of their breathtaking ceremony held at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando! SJS Events created such a dream wedding week from design to coordination … she thought of every single detail! Our favorite ceremony detail was the fuchsia umbrellas that were offered to guests during the ceremony. Such a colorful (and practical!) addition!! Needless to say, we’re so excited to share this sweet couples finished live painting!

Ashley Ann + Patrick Ritz-Carleton Sarasota Sarasota, Florida
Ashley Ann and Patrick shared their destination wedding day with friends and family in sunny Sarasota … and in the midst of a cold winter, we were thrilled about their location! They couldn’t have had more perfect weather for their outdoor ceremony there on the lawn outside The Ritz Carlton. Following the ceremony, they followed their guests inside to the most romantic reception we’ve seen in a long time! Their dreamy blush roses were stunning … and can we talk about the florals that lined their draping inside! They took draping to a new level! Ben so enjoyed capturing their first dance for their live painting! Ashley Ann’s gown was an absolute dream ball gown! Needless to say, we’re so thrilled to share their finished live painting!
Francesca + Justin Wingate Plantation Charleston, South Carolina 30 x 24 in.
Cheers to Francesca + Justin’s 10th Anniversary celebration. After an intimate vow renewal, they welcomed their family and friends to celebrate, including US! That’s right, we were guests for once!!! We started the evening with champagne gorgeously styled in Justin’s vintage car ... followed by a delicious al fresco dinner with incredible music underneath chandeliers the sweet southern oak trees at Wingate Plantation. It was a dream Charleston evening ... and we loved celebrating with them. Francesca and Justin have been dear friends since we moved to Charleston ... we’ve watched our business grow and been there for each other personally and professionally over the years.

Alison + Rally First Presbyterian Church Wilmington, North Carolina 30 x 24 in.
It’s always such a joy to return to Wilmington, NC … where Ben first launched his art career! Alison and Rally’s felt like a client reunion because Ben had painted for so many of the guests whether live at an event or a commissioned house portrait. Needless to say, Ben had an absolute blast celebrating with Alison and Rally. They chose their ceremony as the subject of their live painting, highlighting their bridal party as well as the gorgeous architecture and stained glass of First Presbyterian Church. Architecture is one of Ben’s favorite backdrops to paint. There’s so much measuring and design involved that he finds it to be an exciting challenge. Needless to say, we’re thrilled to share their finished live wedding painting!
