A new year and so many new staging projects are already under our belts!
Our job as stagers is to create a space that a potential home owner will instantly fall in love with. Stage rooms where they can envision sipping their coffee, entertaining guests and unwind in quiet delight after a long day.
Considering this apartment has already sold above asking price, we think we succeeded. We’d love for you to take a peek at all the fun we had!
Decorating your home this time of year doesn’t have to be complicated. Small touches, especially when they’re inspired by nature, can infuse your home with a serene holiday vibe that is a welcome calm from the stresses of December. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, we found some ideas that will give your home a minimalist yet festive touch.
Whether it’s candles gently burning in a nest of wine cones, a simple strand of bells, tree sprigs used in unusual ways, a delicate tree topper or an unexpected stocking pattern, we think these small yet sweet details are a stylish treat.
T’is the season to give every corner of your home a smattering of holiday magic. The mantel is a classic centrepiece to reflect your taste in holiday decor. Whether you go minimal or majestic, there really isn’t a wrong way to deck out your mantel. If you’re seeking some inspiration, we found some mantels that will surely put you in the holiday mood!
As you know, we love incorporating flowers and greenery into our staging projects. These natural pops of colour provide a warmth and coziness to a space that help a home for sale become a home that is sold. You might think autumn only has pumpkins to offer, but we found some fantastic fall floral arrangements you can create in your home that are gorgeous without a gourd in sight. We think you will find them as inspiring as we do.
Wallpaper and paint are two ways to turn a plain wall into wow! However, they take a lot of time and if you tire of the colour or pattern, it’s a lot of work to transition to a new look.
That’s exactly why we love a big art piece on a crisp white wall – you get impact, colour and a chance to display your unique style, and it’s so easy to swap out for a new piece when you’re inspired for a change!
Here are some art pieces we have used in staging projects over the years, and some dramatic pieces we found online that we think you will love too.
Once you have selected and placed the furniture in any space, choosing and adding the textiles is the room’s true time to shine.
Here is where your tastes emerge, whether they are minimal, serene, bright, exotic, or a combination of all of those. The best part about adding flavour to a room via textiles (curtains, rugs, throw pillows etc.) is that it is very easy to swap them out for something new if you tire of them or want to introduce a new element of style to a room.
Here are some trendy textiles (and patterns) that might give you some inspiration to re-do a room (or two) in your own home.
When we are staging a room, there are so many factors for us to consider. The size of furniture, the shape of the room, the style of the decor, and, of course, the lighting.
Does the room have magnificent floor-to-ceiling windows? (Unfortunately not always.) So, how can we best light a room to ensure it is stylish, warm and inviting for the house hunters about to come wandering through? While we use lamps that are easy to swap in and out, we love to look at the varied styles of light fixtures talented designers create.
Sometimes it is fun to go with the unexpected. Here are some striking light fixtures we think will illuminate both a room and your imagination.
Some homes we stage have the most perfect address to describe them. One of our recent staging projects in Coquitlam is located on Paradise Ave, and once you see inside this home, you will agree that address is so appropriate. This staging project was taken on by Michelle Yuen, one of our new team members, and we were blown away by her eye and talent.
Take a peek at her beautiful vision!
Intrigued? The Open House is this weekend (July 8th & 9th, 2017) from 2-4pm.
