Top Shot Aerial Photography was founded in early 2013 by Andrew Wahl. No matter what the event or occasion, Top Shot AP is sure to accommodate any aerial photo or video needs you may have. We use state of the art technology to not only capture pictures and video, but also to edit it in order to present our clients with beautiful, fully integrated media.
The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is becoming an important resource in the construction industry. UAVs provide builders and customers an unprecedented view as their project progresses.
We’ve all seen UAVs flown by hobbyists in neighborhood parks. A UAV, when flown by a skillful, licensed pilot, provides professional images and video that until now were far too costly to consider.
TopShot enjoys working with Capitol Construction – We recently created a portfolio of UAV aerial and ground images for their Ed Martin project. Take a look at the images in the carousel below. These images were used for a project promotion package during their grand opening. TopShot has made a name for themselves in aerial imagery and for this project, we also provided the ground-level images.
The use of UAVs is growing faster in construction than any other industry. Drones flying above almost every major construction site will be common-place. 1 Some uses of UAV technology includes project status, worker safety, and site security.
UAVs used on construction sites are a game-changer when it comes to communication and transparency. The images provided show rather than tell what is going on with a project. Managers are better informed to choose a response to an issue and that means things that require urgent action are promptly addressed.
TopShot loves kicking around ideas with prospective clients. Please give us a call if you have a project and are wondering about whether your project can benefit from the use of UAV imaging.
Fishers used to be a sleepy little town just off of Interstate 69 with lots of surrounding farmland that was mostly in disuse. That was back in the good ol’ days when the barbershop had one of those swirling red, white and blue striped poles out front.
The Fishers community is undergoing rapid expansion with new businesses and opportunities opening up daily. According to Money Magazine, Fishers is currently the best place to live in the United States. If you visited Fishers just two years ago and returned today you would scarcely recognize the place. TopShot has played something of an ambassador role in this explosion of opportunity. We are excited about the way Fisher is changing. Not only is Fishers full of new business opportunities, but it’s a great place to live.
@Cushman Wakefield recently asked TopShot to provide a “bird’s eye view” video of the Riverwalk Fishers Development for a marketing campaign. TopShot had the latitude to be creative on this project; we implemented a conceptual design-plan overlay the construction that is already underway. We were eager to show off the amenities and beauty that the Fishers area offers, and persuade companies who may be considering a move that Fishers is a great choice!
School is out! While the kids and faculty are off having fun, schools may become a hive of activity for construction and infrastructure projects. We recently partnered with Hagerman Construction to monitor and record traffic patterns around Lawrence North High School. We provided Hagerman Construction with a time-lapse video filmed from one of our TopShot aerial drones. Hagerman Construction used the video for making important logistics planning decisions.
The video (posted below) is quite fascinating because:
•It’s just a lot of fun, it’s like watching a beehive or ant colony at work.
•It reveals the traffic “hotspots” around the site at various times.
It’s that second item above that is so interesting. The TopShot video we created for Hagerman Construction reveals an opportunity that only aerial drone video and photography provides: Affordable time-lapse video of traffic patterns within an area of interest that can be used for project and event planning purposes.
The value that TopShot’s aerial drone photography brought to the Hagerman Construction project becomes obvious while watching the video: It provides great insight into the site entry and exit based on traffic patterns on surrounding streets. This information allowed Hagerman Construction to determine the most efficient staging area for their project materials.
Business owners and managers may not be aware of the important information available using drone aerial video and photography. TopShot’s aerial drone photography can deliver valuable planning information about traffic flow for long-term projects such as site renovations or short-term events such a concert.
Please give TopShot a call if you have a large project or an event planned where understanding the traffic patterns on surrounding streets are an important consideration. We love sharing our experience and ideas as well as uncovering new ideas about the value that aerial drone video and photography can bring to new projects. The sky is literally the limit with TopShot.
“I think it gives us faith and a sense of community.” In the video below Yvonne Kirk talks about the positive, transformative impact that Rebuilding Together has had on the Norwood Twin community. Yvonne is a long-term resident of Norwood Twin and tells us about how a little bit of work goes a long way toward fostering a sense of pride and goodwill within her community.
Rebuilding Together preserves and revitalizes houses and communities. The organization helps low-income homeowners, especially the elderly, disabled and families with children develop a sense of pride in their community and live in warmth, safety, and independence.
TopShot enjoys helping local non-profit organizations; we want to be a good citizen that contributes to the betterment of the Indianapolis community. We were very pleased to volunteer with for a second year on a Rebuilding Together® Indianapolis project.
Please enjoy the video below and if you have a project that may benefit from drone aerial photography or video then give us a call. We love exploring ideas with clients.
TopShot made the trip up to Fort Wayne, Indiana to capture this 4K footage for our long-time client, Jackson Investment Group. One of our editors from Butler University did a fantastic job editing the footage to be very informational and we cannot help but like the catchy background tunes.
