ThisSongIsSick.com is all about making it easier for you to discover sick new music that you've never heard before. We work with musicians and record labels from all over the world to showcase a variety of the freshest electronic, hip-hop, indie, and alternative music to a global following that is comprised of millions of music lovers in over 110 countries.
Josh Pan has always been on the cutting edge of trap and future bass. You could say the same thing about the tastemaking record label OWSLA as well. That’s why when we saw that Josh Pan had dropped a new single via Skrillex’s imprint, we had to check it out - and boy are we glad that we did.
Josh Pan certainly thrives in the darker, grittier alcoves inside the realm of music. Today, Josh teams up with producer AWAY to bring us a new piece of music straight from their respective domains. The new track is called “Mask,” and it’s sounding amazing. Everything falls perfectly into place on this tune. There’s a vivid atmosphere, glitchy sound design, and, above all else actually, is Josh Pan’s amazing vocals.
Many of Josh's fans know him not only for his unique production style, but also for his extremely impressive singing ability, which really makes the track here. He sounds like he could easily be a frontman of a band, and based on some of his alt-rock work with X&G, we would love to see him venture off in that direction even more than he already has.
Have a listen to Josh Pan and AWAY’s new track “Mask” below, which comes along with a dope video as well. Enjoy!

It's no secret Billie Eilish is one of my favorite artists. Some artists just have "it" and she does... everything from her voice to how she carries herself and dresses just goes to show that she's a superstar. Now she's shared a very chill new song titled "come out and play."
Billie is a versatile artist that can go HARD, but at the same time deliver a somber song that will make you tear up. Her last single "when the party's over" is one of her slow burners that hits you right in the feels and she finds the same laidback vibe on this new one "come out and play." Here Billie showcases her incredible vocals that I just can't get enough of atop a beautiful acoustic melody and minimal soundscapes. Check out the new song below and enjoy!
It’s only been 6 months since the drop of his last full length project Testing, but A$AP Rocky has already returned to releasing new music. The New York rapper is back with a brand new single called “Sundress,” and it’s definitely something you need to hear.
The new track samples the Tame Impala track “Why Won’t You Make Up Your Mind,” and Rocky flawlessly pivots the tune into an experimental hip-hop jaunt. We know from Rocky’s past that he’s a big fan of Tame Impala (he even worked with them on his last album), and it’s great to see how well he flows with their sound.
It’s fair to say that Testing was one of A$AP Rocky’s weaker albums, but we are definitely digging this psychedelic sound from him (which reminds of his amazing track L$D). The track also comes with an amazing new video that features some refreshing creativity from director Frank Lebon.
Could this single mean even more is coming from Rocky soon? It would be crazy if he actually released two albums in one year. Stream the new single “Sundress” below and enjoy!
We’ve just taken another massive step forward in the direction of a new Earl Sweatshirt album. The brilliant young rapper just dropped another new single today titled “The Mint,” featuring Navy Blue, and it’s sounding very similar to the first single, “Nowhere2go.”
These two new singles we’ve heard from Earl over the past couple of weeks gives us a glimpse into the sound that he’s aiming to explore for his upcoming new album. It seems as though Earl is diving into a more experimental sonic aesthetic, focusing on lo-fi beats that are heavily sampled.
This sound isn’t what we’re used to hearing on an Earl Sweatshirt track. It’s very interesting however, to see how he’s developed his music over the past three years, since we haven’t heard hardly anything from him since his previous album, I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside.
Earl Sweatshirt took to Twitter earlier this morning to announce that his forthcoming album will be called Some Rap Songs and that it will be dropping November 30. It’s finally happening. You can preorder the album right here.

The elusive Teflon Sega is back! We had the pleasure of premiering his recent releases "Not Another Love Song" and his Felix snow collaboration "Boomerang" and now he's just dropped his infectious new single "Rose Tinted View." For those who have been following Teflon, he's been teasing his anticipated debut project Velvet Pill coming soon and we're stoked to be premiering a new song off it today.
It's not clear who Teflon Sega is, but he sure has our attention. His branding and artwork all features a neon styled anime cartoon character as the face of the project boasting a unique blend of R&B and hip-hop. Teflon has a immediately recognizable voice on each of his songs with his dreamy falsetto vocals perfectly complimenting the lush production. Like his past releases, "Rose Tinted View" is incredibly catchy and will surely be stuck in your head after hearing. Stay tuned for the full project coming soon and enjoy!
Skrillex has been popping back up on our radar much more frequently as of late and we’re loving it! Having just dropped a heavy collab with JOYRYDE and possibly in the works on a Dog Blood comeback, the superstar producer has now teamed up with Lil Pump, Maluma & Swae Lee on a new video for their XXXTENTACION posthumous collab “Arms Around You”.
With numerous unreleased tracks still coming to light after X’s passing, this might be the biggest one yet. With Skrillex having teased the collab for a bit, today the icon has joined heavyweights Lil Pump, Maluma & Swae Lee to round out the late October release with a hybrid live action/animated music video. With X’s posthumous album Skins set for release on Dec. 7, including his recently released single “Bad,” we’re interested to see what other forgotten gems might be included on the new project. But for now we’re happy with this latest offering. Check out the official music video for “Arms Around You” below and enjoy!

Since the beginning, the artwork and visuals have been a huge part of the Snails brand, going hand in hand with the music and telling the story behind the music. Now he’s launching a new chapter in the Snails story launching his “THE SLUGGERNAUT” comic book that’s looking epic as he's one of the first electronic artists to do something like this.
Head to the website here to check out a preview of the first 10 pages from the first edition to get a glimpse into the world Snails has created. The illustrations look like Marvel level comic book quality and bring his vision and story to life. Snails has created his own universe with various aspects including Frogz, King Slugz, Sluggtopia and The Shell that have been part of a bigger vision that is now being fully explained through this new comic book series called THE SLUGGERNAUT. This next level new comic series allows fans to enter the weird world of Snails like never before and we can't wait to see the full thing.
We’re a week away from one of our most anticipated hip-hop releases of the year. To prepare fans for his new DiCaprio 2 project, J.I.D. has delivered a new album trailer that’s one of the best we’ve seen. With the album series being inspired by Leonardo DiCaprio, J.I.D. channels the iconic actor reenacting some memorable scenes from movies like Inception, The Revenant, Wolf Of Wall Street, Titanic, Django Unchained and The Aviator.
J.I.D. is undoubtedly one of our favorite rising rappers and impressed us with singles “151 Rum” and “Off Deez” with J. Cole off the album that also features artists like A$AP Ferg, Method Man, 6LACK, Joey Bada$$ and more. The beats he teases on this trailer all go hard and we can't wait to hear the full project. Stay tuned for the full album on Nov. 26 and enjoy!
It's been a wild year to be a GRiZ fan. At the beginning of the year he left social media on a cryptic note that left fans hanging as to whether he would continue to release music or not. Then he shared a couple videos of him performing spoken word poems before just recently making his epic return with two new singles "It Gets Better" & "Can't Get Enough." Now he's prepping for his annual GRiZMAS event and has just shared the details on his 12 days of GRiZMAS events.
Every year the highly anticipated shows at Detroit Masonic Temple come along with a charity campaign full of events to engage with fans. The efforts aim to raise funds to increase access to music education for Detroit's youth. This year's series of events includes caroling, community service, yoga, local mic night, a special "night before GRiZMAS: Mad Liberation" and more leading up to his back to back shows to close out the 12 day celebration. French producer Fakear is a TSIS staple thanks to his ability to deliver inspiring electronic soundscapes with every track. Earlier this year we had the pleasure of premiering “Something Wonderful”, a vibrant original off of his enchanting sophomore album All Glows, which resonated with us for its warm instrumentals, catchy vocals, and dreamy synth work. Now Fakear returns with the lush indie electronic vibes on his new original track “Mana”.
“Mana” begins on a toned down, atmospheric note that is punctuated by a soothing wood block beat and layered with a catchy vocal chop melody. Warm, rumbling bass enters the picture alongside soaring, high-pitched synths to create an immersive listen across the entire audio spectrum. The track effortlessly ebbs and flows between energy levels ensuring a smooth ride for the listener.
This is the second track that Fakear has released off the upcoming Nowadays V compilation after “5th Season” with La Fine Equipe. Keep an eye out for the full compilation November 30th, which you can preorder here. Enjoy!
