Hi from Bali my loves,
the jungle paradise in Ubud with its beautiful rice terraces totally inspired me for a look in different shades of green. Can you believe I never was the biggest fan of green? Although my eyes are green and everyone said it would fit me quite well. So I guess they were right and my love for green is on fire now. At least when I saw this cool M Missoni pants on summer sale. Combined with a green Zara off shoulder top and my new Mini Lady Dior in mint green made from velvet the green fever is perfect.
And as Leonardo DiCaprio said once: “Green is my favourite colour because it is the colour of nature AND money!”
Yours,

Steph (Today as The Green Macaron)

Hi loves,
my second time in Singapore and I am still so fascinated by this city jungle.
If I had to discripe Singapore in three words it would be:
1. Green 2.Futuristic 3.German
Green: That is an easy one! There are parks in-between the city on every corner and this makes this city super relaxing and gives her a fengshui aura!

Futuristic: My dad is an architect and I share his love for crazy modern buildings which is Singapore mostly known for. One simply does not get out of the amazement by walking through the fascinating Marina Bay area and its architecture.

But why I would call Singapore German? Well, so much things remind me about Munich. The city is super save (girls only travel no problem at all). Furthermore everybody is in time (even the trains), very dependable and polite. So this is definitely a reasons why I feel at home immediately when I arrive in Singapore. The second reason might be one of the coolest hotels I ever stayed:
The Hotel Jen By Shangri La

You know I am the biggest fan of Shangri-La Resorts. I already had the honour to stay at their properties in the Oman, Paris and London. I have to say they really have the most friendly stuff, amazing service and they never miss out to have the best view in town!
Same with the Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore! This rooftop is a stunner- 10 from 10 points! You have a view all around the city until the ocean. You are surrounded by skyscrapers but also trees on the rooftop! My personal favourite: there is music (sometimes even a life DJ) all day long. So the perfect place for a fresh morning swim, tanning in the afternoon or some chilled after work drinks.

Another highlight of the Hotel Jen Orchard was their big breakfast menu which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner at the same time. Pancakes and waffles- they have it! Spring rolls- they have it! Noodles and Soup- they offer it! By the way a lot of people eat pasta for breakfast in Asia. I will bring that habit to Germany Pasta all day long! Some lobster pasta anyone? The big Lobster & Friends dinner buffet every Friday and Saturday was another culinary highlight of our stay.

If you like to have your food in the room you might be surprised by the “person” who delivers: Hotel Jen Orchard is one of the first hotels in the world that uses a futuristic cute robot for their room service. The little Jeno even can use the elevator by itself! Ok, I am in love – can I bring you home with me Jeno, and you do the laundry?
XX,
Yours Steph

Hey Beautiful!
There is something magical about “Parisian jardins” in the morning when the sun rises and the only sounds you hear are birds, leaves rustles and the pages of your very good book! If just every sunny morning could start like this? My favourite book at the moment? Milk and Honey by Ruki Kur! This poetry collection every woman needs on her nightstand or coffee table.
My favourite dress at the moment? This lilac knit dream with golden details by Baum und Pferdgarten!

I mean the designers name is made for a day at Jardin des Tuileries, right ?!

Hi loves,

every time we travel to a new place we love to check out new exciting locations like restaurants and bars. Just came for the food, right!

This weekend we visited beautiful Salzburg and got the possibility to dine with Bee Satongun. Bee is the guest chef at the Restaurant Ikarus at Hangar-7 this month. If you haven’t heard of Red Bulls´ Hangar-7 yet, it’s a very very special location. The Restaurant Ikarus is located next to a bunch of airplanes and Formula One cars. Fun Fact: All of these are fueled and could be used anytime.

The menu consisted of 6 courses and every single dish has been an experience. I think we all love sushi, Asian dumplings and all the regular Asian meals. But this time we had something special. Beneath the fact, that everything was exceptionally cooked, some of the dishes has been served in a group. Having a full table with different dishes, for example varying Curries is very common in the Asian cuisine and to be honest don´t we hate the fancy, small dishes often served in the best restaurants. Mostly it tastes so yum but the portion … let´s leave this for now ;).

As you all know me and this wont last lifelong, I am absolutely the dessert-kind-of-girl. You know everything is about the sweet little thinks in life. The dessert was called “chocolate dom” and this is what it was. Just a soft stunning chocolate banana passion fruit dessert, as we all love it.

So … what should I say more than: Eat it! Every month you can choose a new guest chef from the world best restaurants and it has a very unique but personally atmosphere.

Xx Steph

Loves,
how do we say? The best comes for last! This slogan is so true. I had one final weekend hideaway in the snow before spring will start officially in my mind and closet- say bye bye to Moon Boots and big jumpers. Our last winter trip brought us close to beautiful Salzburg to the amazing Boutique Hotel Wachtelhof.

In my opinion this hotel is at the top 3 of the most beautiful Boutique Hotels I have ever visited! A real private Hideaway!
Especially the interior and the atmosphere is goals!

Every time you entrance the hotel it feels like coming home. Cozy living room style meets exklusive furniture, hunting decoration and the best: there are books everywhere. The finest coffee table book selection I ever saw. Actually Boutique Hotel Wachtelhof is more than a hotel it is a cozy library. I just started to read everywhere with a hot cup of tea, because you felt so comfortable everywhere. Maybe one of the reasons is because there is no lobby or reception like in other hotels just cozy rooms with big couches.
And when you think it can not get more lovely you see the spa of Boutique Hotel Wachtelhof

A total zone of relaxing because it also offers a private home flair even with a chimney. Normally I really go only to the spa to shoot as this is part of my job as travel blogger. I come in shoot my pictures and leave because it is my routine and not a day off. No chance at the spa area of the Boutique Hotel Wachtelhof to get into a work flow. I just had to read a book about Arabian horses, relax and use one of their saunas and the private jacuzzi.
Around the hotel you will find a beautiful area for skiing in winter or walking through flower fields in summer. My special tip: The stylish Tom Chalet. I mean they have a cute little pug as mascot!

In the end of my stay I met the lovely owner of the Wachtelhof and she told me this hotel has a soul! I think she defiantly is right!
See you soon beautiful hunting lodge!

Hello from beautiful Thailand! While traveling, we always have to take some extra care of our skin. Planes, ocean water, sun on (white German) skin and different water conditions always lead to skin issues. That is why we are so happy to have a real personalized skin care tool as our travel buddy and we can update our skin routine every single day: The amazing FOREO LUNA fofo!

 Say Bonjour to PERSONALIZED SKINCARE!

The LUNA fofo delivers a 2-in-1 smart facial massage and cleansing solution. By analyzing your skin, it personalizes a routine unique to your very own skin type. The more you know, the more you glow! And that is what we are looking for everyday, right?

After each skin analysis, a made-to-measure routine just for your unique skin profile is created in the FOREO app, and synced to LUNA fofo for optimized results. So cool that you can use an app to save your skin results and also give the LUNA fofo more informations (e.g. how much water you drink during the day). The LUNA fofo is analyzing the results in a personalized routine, every single time you use it.

I was super happy to get some extra moisture for my skin after tanning to the max at the beach! We are using the Foreo products for one year now and really have to say they are approved. Our skin got so much clearer and looks fresher even in winter or while traveling. What we like most is that you can combine your own beauty favs with the FOREO products like your daily beloved facial wash or creams. So we can stick to our favorite products but make them much more efficient because we know what our skin needs and when we should use it.

So to all Globetrotters out there – you better get your hands on the little beauty miracle LUNA fofo by FOREO and shine all day everywhere!

xxx
