Paros is one of the largest islands in the Cyclades and only an hour away from the popular Mykonos. Unsurprisingly well known for its beautiful beaches and villages it really should be a destination to add to your list if Greek Islands are of interest. I decided to spend 6 days here on my solo adventure and it was my last stop. I split my time between Naoussa and Parikia both really famous for its white buildings, churches with blue domes, sandy beaches and endless amount of taverns covered with beautiful Bougainvillea. Surprisingly there is quite a difference between Naoussa and Parikia and I would recommend Naoussa over Parkia if you are into having more outing options especially if you like busy bars and clubs. SHOP MY OUFITS: Naoussa Naoussa is located in the northeastern part of the island and it’s honestly one of the pretties fisherman villages I have ever seen. I stayed at Mr and Mrs White Hotel Paros which was 10 minutes walk from the town and it provided me with a perfect balance of relaxation and going out. I have to admit that Mr and Mrs White Paros would even be better if you are in a couple as […]

Summer Skincare routine is, in my opinion, one of the most important routines of the year especially if you like to travel to hot countries and being exposed to the sun for a longer period of time. As much as tanning feels good there are so many negative things associated with it including premature ageing and skin pigmentation and this really means that you need to be careful when exposing your skin to harsh sun rays. I wanted to share some of my tips for protecting your skin and my summer skincare must-haves. When it comes to exposing your skin to the sun it’s important to remember that you have to protect yourself especially your face. I think wearing shades and hats is a really good idea in addition to high SPF block in your products. I like to use SPF 50 on my face and 30 on my body and even though there is a common misconception that you won’t tan if you use high SPF, the truth is that you will. It’s more important to have a healthy youthful looking skin for your life than 5 minutes of tan. Hydration, hydration and more hydration and not just in your moisturizer but also […]

As you know I travel a lot so when I’m in London I like to go to some of my favourite places with friends. I like to do things that make me happy and even though I don’t sometimes feel like leaving my area, I love when I get myself out to explore one of my favourite cities in the world. On weekends especially on Sundays, I love to take myself to the flower market on Columbia Road to buy some fresh flowers for the week. The tip is to come after 3 pm or closer to the closing time as then you can get flowers at such low rate. The Columbia Flower Market is so busy with people all over the world visiting as well as so many locals. One of my favourite things to do is to dress for the occasion and I opted for this beautiful pink tropical leaf print linen midi dress from Laura Ashley. The dress is so perfect for a warm weekend as the fabric keeps you cool if it gets too hot out. Its one of my favourite sundresses at the moment and I’m excited to wear it for my upcoming holidays too. It’s very comfortable and […]

If you are like me and tend to get stuck in a rut when trying to be productive at home, this post is for you. As a freelancer who frequently travels I’m really fortunate to have an opportunity to switch up my workspace. However, I spend most of my time working from home so I need to make sure that I remain productive as it’s so easy to get into distracted. This post will help you figure out how to break the rut by refreshing the space you spend most of your time at. Even if you don’t work from home I’m sure we all still tend to feel like we need to occasionally change things up and focusing on details here can really make all the difference to how you feel in your living/work space. Tip 1 To fully refresh your space, decluttering would be the step one when it comes to improving the productivity. The rule of thumb here is if you haven’t used an item in the past 6 months,  you need to let go of it. Decluttering is known to bring the fresh energy to your space having you feel somewhat of a fresh start and this is a great way to set a foundation […]

Having had quite a few hectic weeks in London, I decided its time for some well-deserved chill. So I booked myself tickets to Greece opting for an island hopping in the Cyclades with Tinos being my first destinations. I specifically decided to go to Tinos as I wanted to relax and take it slower at the beginning of my trip. The whole trip was 2 weeks long and I picked Tinos, Mykonos, and Paros and I was very excited ahead of my Greek adventure. I, in all honesty, didn’t know much about Tinos as it’s not as talked about as Mykonos but I was sure it will be as beautiful. So here is my takeout from the visit to Tinos and I hope you find it helpful. How to get to Tinos The easiest and most economical way of getting to Tinos is to get your flights booked to Mykonos and take a ferry over to Tinos. There are multiple ferry rides per day and take less than 10 minutes to get to. Tickets were 15 Euros return and I was very much impressed with ferries in Greece and the quality of the service so definitely recommend this form of travel.  The ferry will […]

As an ambassador for one of my favorite e-tailers in the world Revolve, I get access to nice perks such as invites to some of their major festivals and events including the Revolve Around the World. Since they are LA-based this was their first time in London which was such the most fun I had in a while. Revolve guys are the best as they not only curated the most party itinerary known to a man but also they had the best selection of my favorite girls. In addition to this, I had a chance to pick a selection of my favorite looks which I have been sharing on my Instagram over the past few weeks. I got so many nice comments about all the dresses I was wearing so wanted to share them with you guys. You can access my selection by clicking on this link. I loved the opportunity to show some of my favorite brands from Revolve that include Majorelle, NBD, Lovers and Friends, Privacy Please and Tularosa. One of my favorite thing about brands sold on Revolve is that they are made for women and they really are so flattering making you feel good. There is […]

Visiting Switzerland for the first time was quite exciting especially as it was a visit to Luassane, Switzerland’s Olympic capital. Since I went with Lausanne’s tourism board, we managed to get to do all the best things that this beautiful city has to offer. I really need to make it my mission to explore more of what Switzerland has to offer and visiting Lausanne was a great start. I wanted to highlight all the things that I loved doing on this trip so hopefully, if you decide to visit yourself, you will find it useful. So here you go my must do’s if you find yourself in Lausanne Switzerland for the first time. Where to stay in Lausanne Switzerland One of the oldest and most beautiful hotels that I had a chance to stay at is Royal Savoy Lussane. Considered somewhat of the Royal Heritage this hotel managed to preserve its old century charm mixed with the modern comfort. The Lobby will take you back to the past but then its Sky Terrace Bar with 360° views over Lausanne and the lake Geneva will bring you right back into Lausanne’s dreamy present. Views from the hotel are immense and to […]

Having embarked on an Island Hopping mission in Greece for 2 weeks, I thought it would be the most appropriate time to show you What’s In My Beach Bag. I decided to stay near Kalafatis beach in Mykonos as it’s one of the most beautiful beaches on the island so I can properly soak in the sunshine. Since I’m a massive beach lover and I’m pretty sure many of you are too, I hope you will find What’s In My Beach Bag post helpful. We all dream of being by the ocean and most of us count the days down until our holiday so packing appropriately should be crucial. I spent quite some time looking for that perfect beach bag that will fit all of my necessities including my camera, as what is a holiday if we don’t properly document it. I find that the most important is to find a cute but practical beach bag and my choice this season is turquoise and pink stripped Summer bag with shoulder straps by Joules. This bag fits so much that if I wanted to take all of my necessity I will be able to do so. To avoid carrying a ton, […]

Continuing from my post one, I wanted to share a whole lot more of fun things you can do In Montenegro and give you even more reasons to add this beautiful country to your 2018 travel list. It also helps that Montenegro is less than 2 hours away and you can travel with a carryon luggage only. I got my hands on a Briggs and Riley Sympatico Onyx suitcase that expands so I can pack so many looks easy.  Without much further ado, here are few more reasons to visit Montenegro this year. Savina Vineyard  Did you know that Montenegro produces wine? A very delicious wine if I may add! Probably not as most people don’t even know where Montenegro is and due to its small population, its wine production is only available mainly in the Balkan region. I visited Savina vineyard where I got an amazing opportunity to try some of the local food and wine and as you can probably guess this came with a feeling of overindulgence. How can you blame me tough when the beautiful coastal and mountain view mixed with a crispy rose wine and delicious food can only lead to one enjoying life too much. Savina vineyard […]

Nestled on the South side of the Adriatic sea, Montenegro is truly a hidden gem. Many of us don’t even know where it is but as someone who is from Balkan originally, visiting Montenegro felt like being back home and I really needed to write this post and show you guys this hidden beauty. My recent trip to Montenegro ended up being one of my favourite press trips ever and I’m so grateful to have had this opportunity to go. I took hundreds of photos so I think I will have to split this into 2 posts. Montenegro is truly nature’s gift packed with clear waters, stunning mountains views and beautiful beaches. There is something to do for any travel lover especially if you are into nature. I myself appreciate a good hike every now and then, however, beach walks, pool days and nice restaurants are my favourite things. Either way, you will be spoilt for choice. The rich history and turbulent past only add to Montenegro’s beauty and its really a place to add to your travel list and further explore this summer. I’m already planning my next trip. Where to Stay We stayed at Regent Porto Montenegro which was absolutely stunning and in a […]
