Brand Identity for Simply Mithai by Firmalt

Simply Mithai mixes the beautiful tradition of Indian Mithai desserts with the art of chocolate. Because this bakery is so artistic, we wanted the brand to be elegant and sophisticated.

The brand is all about the fusion of culture and different elements. The wordmark is inspired by Indian calligraphy and the endless connections from one letter to another. Sticking with the idea of fusion and mixture, we blended several types in different weights and sizes to keep the brand playful yet elegant.

Firmalt is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Monterrey, Mexico that provides unique creative solutions that develop and position brands. They create strong visual concepts that communicate clear ideas, add value, and differentiate from the competition.

Grindal Legal approached us seeking an identity that would reflect their position within the legal landscape as a youthful and progressive firm. We created an identity in response to the key features that set Grindal Legal apart; an identity that blends personality with a respect for consistency and clarity.

The resulting visual language seeks to convey a feeling of transparency and straightforwardness; creating a confident and refined aesthetic that represents the firm’s ideology/mentality.

Mildred & Duck is a Melbourne-based graphic design and communication studio established by Sigiriya Brown and Daniel Smith. They design for print, digital and environmental media, creating solutions that communicate and connect with people.

When migrants venture through the desert in hopes to arrive to America, they do out of desperation and the necessity for health and refuge. These journeys are painstaking and taken due to a complete lack of resources and the sanctity of human preservation. The American administration has chosen to treat these refugees as criminals, separating their families, and locking them in detention centres.

The government justifies these policies with racist, untrue rhetoric. It is estimated that there are over 2000 children in detention centres without their parents. Many are sleeping on concrete floors and have extremely limited access to healthcare, nutritious food, and proper hygiene. Please donate to The American Civil Liberties Union - a team of individuals focused on defending the rights of immigrant families.

The Mediation Collective by Re

The Mediation Collective by Re

Four mediators came to us to help them launch their new business. In a sea of sameness, we saw an opportunity to stand out. An opportunity to create a brand that could reassure people without using stock imagery of smiling children and couples holding hands. And most importantly, an opportunity to tap into the ethos that connected the four women who were leading a new, collaborative approach to mediation.

‘The philosopher’s desk’ became our brand idea, informing everything from illustration to colour, to the way we speak. The concept allowed us to hero the knowledge and professionalism of the mediators while providing calm reassurance to their clients in times of crisis.

Re is a strategic brand consultancy that shapes brands to evolve at the speed of culture. ‘Re’ comes from the Latin meaning again and again. They use a process of ongoing iteration to enable their clients’ brands to adapt as new business and cultural opportunities present themselves. They believe brands are always in beta.
