I can't believe it's been a whole month since I posted. I am so sorry about that. I have been stitching away on my Secret Santa ornament and that project should be completed tonight. I can't post any of it until after it is given in December. While I was waiting on the thread I needed to finish that secret project, I pulled out this girl.
She's from Painted Pony Needlepoint Designs and I call her Kitty Witch. She has been in time out for a long while. So long, in fact, that I don't remember what the white thread is on the wings. That will take an investigative trip to The Needle Works to figure out. Wish me luck. In the meantime I stitched her sleeves with Neon Rays in a scotch variation. All stitch selections are mine.
This is the roof of the fifth house. I outlined the black with three strands of silk. The fern stitch on the lower right is from the guide. The upper shingle is my idea. I think I will stick with the guide. That Amy knows her business!

Yes, but it's the Halloween House Row from Melissa Shirley. I can't stop stitching this cute thing. It is that much fun. I really need to be finishing up the Christmas items for this year. I think I will give myself the Memorial Day weekend and then get back to business. I bought the canvas, stitch guide and threads from Amy's Golden Strand.
We had a wonderful time! Six SWANs took off for Memphis for stitching, eating and visiting. Jill and Amy were as charming and gracious as they always are. We saw some other Memphis friends and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I asked Amy for stitch ideas for The Village.

A Rent Amy Day is RAD! I highly recommend it! More to follow.
