Sue Plumb used large tropical flower stamps from Viva Las Vegastamps combined with open cut flower dies for this fun Tropical Layout. The big blue splashy background looks like ocean water or sky and helps tie the theme together.
I love the tag shape of these Unicorn planner pages from Els. A simple but fun way to change the shape of a layout. And the elephant that she added the unicorn headband to is just too, too adorable! She’s sharing how she put her layout together over on the Elizabeth Crafts blog.
Busy new parents probably don’t have a lot of time to keep track of all the new babies firsts, photos and milestones. But these things mean so much so an album kit is a great solution. The Easy Albums line from Scrapbook.com is an all in one kit to help parents document those precious memories. And these kits are also great baby shower gift idea.
With all white furniture and touches of pink, teal and florals Amy’s home office and craft room has a lovely feminine look. I love the added touches of gold to make it even more elegant and vintage nick knacks to add a personal touch. Click here to take a virtual room tour with her over on her blog Atta Girl Says.
Kathleen was inspired by the tabbed file folders pattern paper on the new Office hours line from Pinkfresh Studio to create a layout that opens up like an actual file folder. With all the space inside she was able to add loads of photos, 14 small pics in all, which she numbered and journaled about with a type set font that ties the whole office theme together perfectly.
Natasha used just one sheet of pattern paper along with stickers and embellishments from Altenew to create 3 scrapbook pages. By using 3 sections of the paper, one on each page, she really got her monies worth from just one piece of paper. These pages coordinate perfectly and are quick and easy to make.
Using beautiful heart shaped dies from Tonic Studio Louise created 4 different paper crafting projects. She made a heart shaped album, box, card and gift bag. I love all the extra touches she added like flap hinges on the album and a hidden message inside the bottom of the box. These ideas would be perfect for anniversary or wedding gifts.
The large circle with fringe on this layout really pulls the eye into the center of the page, focusing on the photos. And adds extra texture as well. It was made by tracing a large round plate onto pattern paper and then cutting around the edge with fringe scissors.
Di used embroidery Floss in coordinating colors with different stitches to sew down her large triangle pattern paper pieces on this pretty layout. It gives her page the wonderful look of a quilt. And using the black background really makes her papers pop.
Did you take photos at your local Pride Parade, Festival or Celebration last month? Get inspired by Dana’s Pride layout, she used rainbow colors, lots of colorful hearts and a fun heart shaped shaker element.
