Sally Hunt is a strong atheist, progressive, and humanist who advocates for the separation of church & state, comprehensive sex education, sex-positivity, feminism, social, racial, & economic justice, and equal human rights for all. She joins us on this episode to discuss her activism against "In God We Trust" displays, unscientific sex education in schools, and more.
We're joined by Director Jason Carman and Baby Bagos Hood, co-creators of "Super Gay", a musical sitcom series about a group of queer college students who, in trying to find themselves, discover they have superpowers which they must use against an ultra-conservative, alt-right campus club hell-bend on making any LGBTQ students suffer. It's a 10-episode series with a very diverse, representative cast, compelling story and musical numbers that will be pitched to Netflix, but they need our help! Producing a series costs a lot of money, and without a big studio writing the checks, it's hard to get a good idea off the ground. That's where we come in. Listen to this episode, then check out their fundraiser and the various rewards you can get for donating, and help make this series a success!

Objectively Dan is the host of Truth Wanted, a new show from the Atheist Community of Austin (Texas), and practices a conversation technique called Street Epistemology to help people examine their beliefs. In this episode, I talk to Dan about growing up religious in Texas, his chance encounter with SE Practitioner Anthony Magnabosco [ YouTube ] and how SE helped him question and explore his god belief. HUGE THANKS to friend of the show Morgan for taking time out of her lunch to help us demonstrate the SE method, and an extra dash of thanks to Dan for putting up with yet another SarahTalk power outage. #PatreonGoals
Magistra Ygraine joins us in the SarahTalk Lair to discuss the Church of Satan, Satanism vs. Satan Worship, and Atheism. Ygraine responded to our local paper, The Ledger, after news broke about two middle school girls who were plotting - and almost succeeded - to kill smaller students at school and drink their blood, saying that they're Satan worshippers who wanted to sin so badly they would die and be in hell with Satan. Ygraine talks about the distinction between organized Satanic groups and self-proclaimed "Satan worshippers". Our conversations also dipped into some recent news:
