The teacher of the Reiki practice, Usui Sensei had 5 principles that helped the healing practice to be developed. These are tools to live a more significant life and can be used as affirmations throughout the day. Each of the five affirmations refer to today. This makes you Become more aware in the present moment rather than wasting valuable energy living in the past or having expectations for the future. It is easier for the mind to comprehend and grasp the moment of today. Planning for the future it’s a loftier job and makes it more likely to unconsciously avoid it. Today sounds more doable for the mind; it is better and more sustainable to build a future daily brick by brick.

Quick Links
  1. “Just for today: I will live in the attitude of gratitude.”
  2. “Just for today: I will not fear or worry.”
  3. “Just for today: I will not be angry”
  4. “Just for today: I will be honest to my own self.”
  5. “Just for today: I will respect all living beings.”

It is recommended to use these percepts as mantras during meditation. For each person they have different meanings and you can unlock your own meaning through meditation. You can create a framed picture with the principles and have them where you can see them daily. If you are a healer have the principles in the healing room. The five Reiki principles are not commandments; they are simply gifts of wisdom.

1. “Just for today: I will live in the attitude of gratitude.”

The first of the five principles of reiki is about the magical emotion of feeling grateful. You cannot be grateful and angry in the same time. One cure all for many negative emotions is the feeling of gratefulness. Your life, your family, your friends, the place you live, and all big and small things we are taking for granted helped improved our quality of life such as the internet, the healthcare, the food industry.

Without some of these things there would be so much struggle in our lives just to provide ourselves with the basic survival needs. We usually tend to focus on the things we don’t have. Looking for what we actually have, it gives you perspective and it is also a good brain exercise. And it is actually the best way to attract more positive things in your life. But most importantly we have to bless all the shortcoming and negative things that we went through. Because of these we are what we are today within ourselves. They refine us and they have the purpose to adjust our path in life.

One variation of this principle is Just for today I will give thanks to my many blessings. You can write down regularly all of you life blessings. You can look again at the things that you believe were a misfortune and see that only because of these you are now stronger, more prepared for life and wiser. To help rebalance this state of gratitude within yourself place one hand on the third eye chakra and another one on the occipital ridge. Use this method on yourself or others to bring more profound states of gratitude.

2. “Just for today: I will not fear or worry.”

Fear and worry are enemies that will almost never make things better in your life. Give away to them and you are doomed to a life of bad cycles that never leave room for the good. All you can do in any situation is your best. Fear and worry will not make you do more than you can, but rather less than you are capable of. Whatever endeavours you might tackle just do your best and leave the rest in the hands of the Universe. That is all you can do and it’s the best you can do.

A wonderful cure against fear and worry is laughter. Watch or read daily something that makes you laugh. If you have around you people that are constantly worrying and fearing you need to avoid them. Surround yourself with happy people; be it on television, on the internet or in real life. Avoid people that have negative ways at living at looking at life.

You can use the Reiki to help bring down your worry and fear. Place one hand on the root chakra and another on the heart chakra. This will help bring balance within the body and mind. It removes the blockages caused by stress, worry and anxiety. Keep your hands there until you feel better. You can use this on yourself or on others.

3. “Just for today: I will not be angry”

It has been proven that while you are angry your mind goes back into a more basic state. Your intelligence is taken away when you feel anger. The benefit of anger is that it can make you laser focused if channelled properly. But anger also burns away the good karma. Being in anger it’s not the best way to react to stressful situations. You can still take action and resolve situation in a state of peace. Avoiding anger gives you perspective on the problem and you are more likely to solve it effectively.

If you pay attention to it you will notice that whenever you are angry you giveaway energy. If you are angry because of a person that person steals your energy. When this happens remember to now allow others to benefit from your own energies. When you are angry you can heal yourself through Reiki by placing one hand on the third eye chakra and the other on the root chakra. Keep your hands there for as long as you feel necessary. You can use this technique on yourself or on others.

4. “Just for today: I will be honest to my own self.”

It is one thing to lie to others but the truth is that oftentimes we lie to ourselves too. We lie about not wanting to grow, that we do not want to become more than we are right now. Being honest to yourself and being free of what other people say and do will make you more connected to your real purpose. Being dishonest takes away valuable power from the soul and the mind. Honesty to one-self is actually the first step in connecting to our deeper being and aligning the chakras.

Another variation of this principle is Just for today I wil do my work honestly. If you can be dishonest with others or you can be dishonest with yourself. You may be gifted with a particular ability and you might be dishonest to yourself by not exploiting your ability. You ability may be of help to others so it means you are also dishonest to them. To rebalance this principle within yourself or on others place one hand on the third eye chakra and another on the solar plexus chakra. Keep them as long as you intuitevely feel is enough.

5. “Just for today: I will respect all living beings.”

The last of the five principles of reiki refers to all there is alive in on this planet. Whatever good things happen in your life, most of them were not possible without the involvement of other people. Be it your family, your spouse, your friends – they all have an impact on the positive things you experience today. They made you who you are today with all good and bad things also. Either you accommodate with this or not, the truth is that you must respect yourself and others too. Whatever the experience of your life is now, it might very well be part of your life process and not the end of it.

It is not just about people. It is also about animals, plants. The food that nourishes you daily would not be possible without the plants, insects and all other living beings. On one level we are truly all connected and being respectful to all that lives is becoming aware of our true nature as human beings living on this planet. Even the people that you dislike are to be respected because we are actually all connected and they also depend on their life of the same things you depend on. Air, food, sun, love care, compassion, trust and understanding are common things that we all require and strive for.

Basically it is about karma. What goes around comes around. What thoughts and actions you throw on others they will eventually come back to you. Send out bad to others and you will get bad in your life. Send out good and happiness and you will live a happy and good life. To help bring this principle to life within you or other place one hand on the Third Eye Chakra and the other one on the Root chakra. When you feel you are ready move from the Third Eye to the Throat Chakra. Keep it there until you intuitevely feel is enough.

The five principles of reiki as a tool for well-being

These principles are the five principles of Reiki. They are an interpretation of what Reiki does to your mind, body and soul. The Pure Reiki practice helps you connect with your true self. It makes you aware of your humanity and shows you what truly matters and what doesn’t for you in your life. It gives you vitality and clarity. Reiki heals your body, mind and soul.

Using Food as Medicine for Blocked Chakras

Beyond the Rational (Intuition)

External Factors of Blocked Chakras

The remedies for blocked chakras are many. These include lifestyle changes, but there are many external remedies such as essential oils, herbals and the application of affirmations and using gemstones and crystals. Medication is helpful in many cases, but they can also create more damage to the system than healing it. You need to implement a few changes and some new habits into your life if you want to make your chakras working properly. Making this changes and additions into your life can actually help to get rid of medication in case you already take any.

There are two causes that will have an impact on the proper functioning of your chakras. Internal causes and also external causes. On the internal dimension certain foods can be used to cure the body and to open the chakras. On the external dimension we have the energy of others and the way we react emotionally to people and events that we encounter.

Using Food as Medicine for Blocked Chakras

You are what you eat is what we use to say. The food that you put into your body can have a positive or negative impact on the chakras. If you have blocked chakras, food can be a great help to heal not merely your physical body (anamayakosha) but your energy body (pranamayakosha) as well.

The most important chakra that you can start healing through food is the Muladhara Chakra. This is the root chakra and it can have an impact on all chakras. You can take advantage of this and use food as medicine to balance this chakra.

You will have to start consuming more root vegetables to help balance the Muladhara chakra. Here are some of the root vegetables that you need to add to your daily meals:

  • carrots, parsnips
  • potatoes, sweet potatoes, yam
  • beets, radish, turnip
  • ginger, garlic, onions
  • celery, asparagus

Whatever your goals and aspirations are it is important to be balanced. To stay grounded when struggles and circumstances will come to you it’s highly important to have an inner state of balance. The root chakra needs to be balanced if you want to reach your goals with more ease and less struggle.

Beyond the Rational

Having a rational mind is a great asset to your life. But sometimes this is not the best of means to make the right choices. Intuition can be an even greater asset when faced with tough decisions. Intuition is when you have a hunch about an event, a situation or a choice you need to make. It is usually obvious because it is opposite to what the rational mind says. It is important to feel and pay attention to this hightened sense of perception as it can grant you great insight. It provides valuable clarity when there are two or more sources of information or choices.

The remedy for a heightened intuition is to open all chakras and to stay focused. The best of foods that will enhance your intuition are fruits and vegetables rich in antioxidants. Every day our body produces free radicals. These are oxygen particles that can get create problems for the cellular functions of your body. Too many free radicals creates fatigue, digestive and immunity issues.

Antioxidants are the best way to fight these free radicals. Here are some tasty and healthy foods to help out your enhance your intuition and to heal your blocked chakras:

  • spinach, lettuce, kale, artichoke
  • blueberries, strawberries and pomegranate
  • goji berries, elderberries, cranberries
  • red kidney beans, dark chocolate
  • cilantro, oregano, turmeric, cumin, basil, thyme, ginger
External Factors of Blocked Chakras

One external cause of blocked chakras are the people we encounter on a daily basis. Their energy mingle with your energies and this can cause your chakras to be blocked or under-active. When we meet a person it is possible to feel a bad vibe or to feel a sudden mood shift. This happens especially if you are an empathic person. People do this to you willingly or unwillingly. They have the power to disturb our energies creating unwanted problems in our chakra system.

Emotions play an important role in causing imbalances to our chakras. They can sustainin healthy chakras or create problems within this body of energy. Unbalanced chakras will stimulate negative emotions of stress, fear, anxiety, depression, low moods. But it cal also go the other way, healthy chakras can be disturbed by negative emotions. A traumatic event or any other emotional disturbances can make your chakras go out of balance.

Chakras are protecting from these negative emotions by blocking themselves. When one chakra becomes under-active or blocked this causes another chakra to compensate by becoming over active. Focusing on the under active chakras will make the over-active go down. If you have unbalanced chakras there are few techniques and remedies you can implement in your life.

Techniques and Remedies for Healing Chakras Protecting from others

Some persons feed constantly from other’s energy. It is important to know how to detect and protect yourself from these energy vampires. To protect your chakras from being drained you need to temporary block them. When we interact with someone that feels like drains the life out of you create some distance between him/she and you. Then block the solar plexus chakra by placing your arms around the gut area. This will prevent the energy flow going out and prevents the intake of negative energy.

Other symptoms of encountering such energy draining people are sudden mood swings. If you find yourself feeling depressed or fatigued a vampire may may be the cause. One remedy is to imagine yourself surrounded by a white sphere of light. This rejects the flow of energies that causes disturbances to your chakras.

Aromatherapy for Healing Chakras

Essential oils are a powerful remedy when it comes to blocked chakras. They have been used since ancient times. In the bible it is said the Magi brought to the newborn king myrrh, frankincense and gold. Because of their miraculous properties, myrrh and frankincense were considered as valuable or even more valuable than gold. There are many essential oils and each with many uses and benefits for the body, mind and spirit.

Be aware that some essential oils can be very powerful indeed and can create skin issues if not used properly. Commonly they are being used as they are, but some oils are to be used in combination with carrier oils such as coconut oil. Definitely keep out of children and away from the eye as some oils ca be very damaging to the eyes. You can find more about essential oils on the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy website. There are also other plentiful free sources online where you can more in depth information on how to safely use essential oils.

Each chakra needs certain scents to help cure and balance them. Here are some essential oils and their benefits and uses for each of the chakras.

Other practices that can be of great impact to your chakra recovering are physical exercises, meditation, reiki music, dancing. As for physical exercise I like to go running and do stretching. I also have some forms of basic yoga called Upa Yoga that I do and helps enhances my awareness. Meditation can be another great tool for well-being. But in my case it is just not deliver results each and every time. Sometimes I get into the state within the first minutes. But other times it takes over 10 minutes for similar results.

Before sleep I play some meditation music and whatever happens after that is history as I sleep like a log and I wake up like a warrior. Dancing goes in the physical exercise category but moving your hips can have a positive impact on the sacral chakra. So don’t forget to smile and dance every now and then.

Quick Links History of Reiki

Dr. Mikao Usui, the one that rediscovered and founded this healing method was born in a family that was practicing Zen Buddhism for eleven generations. After being close to death by disease Mikao had a spiritual experience that inspired him to study the ancient teachings of his family. He discovered some teachings about healing through the use of hands. Tokyo was struck by cholera epidemic at that time in the mid 1800s. Mikao Usui decided to learn the art of this teaching. Although he knew the technical aspects of the practice he needed to gain the wisdom required to be able to learn and teach it.

After 21 days of fasting, reading, prayer and meditation on top of the mountain he asked to God to show him the light. He was then struck unconscious by a ray of light right on his forehead, on the Third Eye Chakra. When he regained consciousness he knew that he had found the key that he was looking for. As he proceeded down the mountain he cut his toe. He touched the toe with his hands and the pain and bleeding stopped.

After many healings he decided to go to the slums of Kyoto and heal the beggars to get them working. After seven years he learnt that it is not enough to heal the body. The beggars did not started working saying that it is easier to beg. Mikao decided to retreat and meditate once more. This time he was enlightened with the Five Principles of Reiki. After that he spent his life teaching and developing Reiki. He tried to not attach any religious or dogmas to it so that anyone can have access to the healing power of Reiki.

What is Reiki

It is important to know that Reiki it is not just a tool for healing. Reiki will offer protection and transformation on all levels. Even if you want to do it only on yourself this will bring peace and balance into your life. If you use Reiki everyday to heal yourself it will become stronger and more profound. It is also believed that it can extend your life.

The forgotten Ki energy

Ancient cultures were aware of the Ki energy that harnesses our bodies and of every living being. Today we mostly forgot about it and we rely mostly on technology to help us when we are dealing with physical or emotional issues. The Ki energy needs to flow properly in and around are bodies if it is to maintain a stable and sound health. This energy flows through us since the moment we are conceived. Either you are aware of this gift or not everyone is and making use of it everyday.

When we were young our parents came and kiss and touch us when we hurt ourselves. We also use our hands to heal the pain by placing our hands on the sore spot. We unconsciously make use of this energy to heal ourselves. The Ki energy is referred as Chi in China, as Prana in India and in the western world is the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit.

What weakens the Ki energy
  • too much alcohol
  • poor diet
  • lack of exercise
  • drugs
  • tobacco
  • negative habits
  • stress
  • poor breathing
  • lack of sleep and rest

The practice in itself originates even before Christ or Buddha. Because knowledge was transmitted through the word of mouth it is hard to tell how the practice was in the beginning. The name REIKI was given by the Mikao Usui when he rediscovered the practice in the mid 1800’s.

When we feel negative emotions such as stress the flow of energy is blocked. When the Ki life energies are low we are more proned to sickness and disease. Ki energy is neither good or bad. It is the source of all life carrying in the universe. Anyone can access this energy and release its healing benefits for others and for oneself through the Reiki practice.

Heal Yoursef and Others with the Pure Reiki Healing Master Program How Reiki works

There are seven main energy centers in our bodies that control the flow of the life energy. These are called chakras and are like wheels that makes the Ki energy flow properly. When these chakras are blocked or unbalanced the energy flow is dilluted. The physical and the mental is affected negatively if this happens. Reiki is the practice that rebalances the chakras and makes the body and mind available to the Ki energy.

Just as we do not see radio waves with the naked eye, similarly the life force is not visible but we know it is available everywhere. Even though it is omnipresent we are not 100% being attuned to it. Because of the way we feel and think and what we put into our bodies most people only use 10%-20% of the life energy. The big benefit of Reiki is that once the patient receives healing the possibility of him healing again stays with him the entire life.

The Reiki symbols are an important part of the Reiki practice. They are a tool to connect the practitioner to the higher self. The 4 Reiki symbols were found by Dr. Mikao Usui in a Sanskrit book and he implemented them in the Reiki teachings to help make the Reiki more powerful. These ancient symbols are not necessary to access the Reiki energy but they take the healing practice to a higher level.

The first three symbols are taught during the second degree and the forth in the 3rd degree of the Pure Reiki Mastery. The 4th symbol is the Master symbol. This symbol heals the soul and works on genetic and cellular level. It is taught in the final part of the Usui Reiki Master training. Because the symbols work on a subconscious level too, once the student is initiated into the symbols they will stay with him for life even if he is using them or not. It is necessary to go through the Second Degree Attunement before using the symbols.

Quick Links

The symbols need to be either visualised or drawn. When drawn it is highly important that no one sees them but you. Some people use the tongue to draw the symbols on the top of their mouth. Others draw them on the body of the recipient.

1st Reiki Symbol – Cho-Ku-Rei – CKR

The Cho Ku Rei Reiki symbol can be used alone or as activator for the other symbols. Here are some examples of uses of this symbol. You can draw it with your hands or draw it on top of the mouth with the tongue. It also helps to say the symbol three times silently as you draw it.

  • CKR activates the 2nd Degree Reiki energy.
  • CKR activates all other symbols.
  • CKR offers protection on all levels.
  • CKR cleanses energies in your home, office, car, etc.
  • CKR helps balancing your life.
  • CKR can be send along with a gift on a sticker.
  • CKR can be used on food, plants, animals, etc.
  • CKR can be used to help your career; draw symbol under your desk, under your cash register, telephone, diary, computer, etc.

Basically you can use it whatever you want to bring positive energy to. People or things, it can bring some benefits to your life just on its own.

Heal Yoursef and Others with the Pure Reiki Healing Master Program 2nd Reiki Symbol – Sei Heiki

Sei Heiki is the symbol related to bringing balance between the left and right brain. Sei means birth or coming into being and Heiki means balance or equilibrum. It is highly important to never let anyone see you drawing it unless he or she is a second degree practitioner or a Reiki master. There are multiple ways to effectively apply the Sei Heiki symbol:

  • You can use this symbol drawing it in mid air in the direction you wish Reiki to go.
  • You can draw it with your tongue on the top of your mouth and then project it on the top of your hands as you use them on your client.
  • Visualise the symbol strong and white on the top of your palms before you place them on your client.
  • Or visualise a strong white Sei Heiki symbol projected from your Third Eye Chakra on the back of your hands as you are using them on your client.
  • Or you can draw the Sei-Heiki symbol on your palms using the index finger before you place them on the client.

To activate this 2nd symbol you must use the so called Reiki Sandwich. You must first draw and quitely intonate the Cho Ku Rei symbol. Then on top of it you draw the Sei Heiki symbol and quitely intonate it after which you draw and intonate the Cho Ku Rei symbol on top of it. This Reiki Sandwich can be used on persons that you feel have mental or emotional blockages. It will help release them allowing the healing process to begin.

There are more details on the Pure Reki Healing Master course on how to use this sandwhich to apply it on patients with addictions or for weight loss or any unwanted habits. There are also practices on how to use these 2 Reiki symbols to treat people suffering from diseases such as cancer, leukemia or AIDS.

You can also use it for your own benefit to get answers for questions or on something you don’t understand. Write it down on a piece of paper and below it draw the Reiki Sandwich. Your answer will come to you intuitively.

Here are a few examples on uses of the Sei-Heiky Symbol:

  • SH works on drinking, drugs or smoking addictions.
  • SH works on relationships problems.
  • SH works on nervousness, fears, phobias.
  • SH works on anger, sadness or other emotions.
  • SH works on improving memory.
  • SH baalnces energies in your home, work place or in crystals.
  • SH offers protection on all levels.

3rd Reiki Symbol – Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen

The third Usui symbol is used for distant (absent) healing. Simlarly to the 2nd symbol, the Hon-Sha-Ze-Sho-Nen symbol works in combination with Cho-Ku-Rey symbol. This symbol is also used to send healing energy back in time or in the future. Time and space are irrelevent for the 3rd Reiki symbol. You can send it back into your childhood or past life, or send it to future events such as operations, interviews, business meetings.

The ways in which you can use the Hon-Sha-Ze-Sho-Nen symbol is the same as with So Heiki:

  • You can use th HSZSN drawing it in mid air in the direction you wish Reiki to go.

To activate Hon-Sha-Ze-Sho-Nen you must first draw and quitely intonate the Cho Ku Rei symbol. Then on top of it you draw the HSZSN symbol and quitely intonate it after which you draw and intonate the Cho Ku Rei symbol once again.

  • HSZSN works on channeling Reiki to a person in another country.
  • HSZSN heals the past present and future.
  • HSZSN works on world peace.
  • HSZSN heals the inner child.
  • HSZSN helps treat patients with burns who cannot be touched or where there is risk of infection through touch.
  • HSZSN works on children while they sleep or rest.
  • You are only limited by your imagination. Believe and succeed.

For a lot more information on how to do distant or absent healing check out the complete course of the Pure Reiki Healing Master, (Healing Manual 2, Lesson 11, Lesson 12 and Lesson 13)

4th Reiki Symbol, The Master Symbol – Dai Ku Myo

The 4th Reiki symbol is a combination of 3 kanji characters. It spells as Dai Ku Myo which means great bright light or great shinning light. This Master symbol is a representation of the divine. It cures illnesses from the very source by healing the aura and energy fields. Other meanings of the 4th symbol as Great Being of the Universe, Shine on me or Treasure House of the Great Beaming Light.

The Dai Ku Myo is the symbol of intuition, creativity, spiritual connection. It is the only symbol added in the traditional Usui Reiki master training. It activates the energy of Self Empowerement and it works on cellular and genetic levels. Many people have changed life careers because of the use of this symbol. It initiaties self discovery and the true life purpose. If you want to clear negative energies or for protection the Master symbol is perfect. The Dai Ku Myo symbol is a symbol that heals the soul. All bodily ailments come from an imbalance or from a blockage of the energy body (pranamayakosha).

Day Ku Myo Activation Methods
  • draw DKM with your palm centre.
  • draw DKM with your finger.
  • visualizing the DKM.
  • drawing or projecting the DKM with or from the third eye location.
  • intoning internaly or externally the symbol’s name three times.

When it comes to Reiki it matters the most the intention not the method used. Therefore you can use your imagination to activate this symbol too. As long as your intention is positive, you can use whatever method of activation you wish.

Where to apply the DKM in during healing sessions

First draw the symbol on yur hands/palms and then project it on the areas.

  • on the client’s crown chakra.
  • on areas to be healed.
  • on to the clients hands/palms.

It is important to remember that you must not become dependant on the Reiki symbols in your healings. These are mostly tools to enhance and to focus your healing energy. Not all masters make use of them to have good results. After the Reiki 1 Attunement the healing process is on, be it with the four symbols or not.

Chakras can be a real blessing or they can be a real problem in our lives. When chakras go unbalanced we start to feel like we are not in control of our destiny. We end up believing that we must accept whatever happens to us and that it is not our job to question the invisible forces that control us. Chakras are the unseen part of what makes or breaks our bodies and minds.

  8. My go to set of oils and stones

There are many ways to heal and balance chakras. Different people need different chakra healing practices. Some are challenging and time consuming whilst others are easier to implement in our daily lives. Not everyone is physically built for the twists and turns of yoga and not every mind is ready for the detachment and thoughtlessness of meditation.

Essential oils and crystals can be good tools for the balancing of the chakras. I use them daily and despite that none of my relatives are into that I still get excited to talk about them when I get the chance. I use oils in the morning to give me energy and I use them before sleep. For me these are the most important moments of the day. If I don’t start my day with the right foot, I know that I will not be able to carry on my daily stuff without frustration and lack of commitment.

The best blends of essential oils you can get for $49.99 on amazon is the 7 Chakras Essential Oils Set of 7 Essential Oil Blends And 7 Gemstone Crystals. There are a total of seven healing stones and seven oil blends to use for most of the daily activities. The package is sturdy and it’s a perfect essential oil gift set. Elixir by Bita mixed together their own essential oils recipes which fulfill each of their seven purposes. I use these blends for sleep, relaxation, tiredness, focus, clarity, breathing, headaches and pains.

The Relax Blend

The “Relax Bend” essential oil is my pick when it comes to touching the Third Eye Chakra. It helps to get me faster into thoughtless mode without going through an actual battle between good and evil inside my head. I just rub a couple of drops on my forehead.  The mix of oils the relax blend contains can also help people with stress, muscle and joint pains.

The Relax Blend oil mix contains:

Frankincense oil, Ho Wood, Eucalyptus Radiata, Lemon, Camphor and German Chamomile oil.

For better results I also use the Red Jasper crystal stone. I place it close to my body during meditation. After I finish I lay in bed comfortably for a few more minutes and place the stone on my Third Eye area on the forehead. This process makes me feel like I cleared my mind and I get the chance of a new start for the day. I like to refer about it as a reset process. It helps me balance my thoughts and emotions and focuses my mind away from the external and internal distractions.

Heal Yoursef and Others with the Pure Reiki Healing Master Program The Energy Blend

In the morning I use the Energy Blend to give the boost I need for the day. It contains a mix of various energizing oils that help me get out of bed fast. As soon as my alarm wakes me up I rub a couple of drops in my hands and I start inhaling. There is nothing like it. It gives me the energy and motivation I need to start my physical exercise. The difference using the energy Blend Oil? I am not eager to finish my reps. Now I am craving for the next set. I keep inhaling the blend as I am doing the exercise and the difference is clear if I am not using it. This oil mix can also help people with fatigue, relieving pains or fot a better general state of mind.

The Energy Blend Contains:

Rosemary Oil, Juniper Berry, Juniper Needle, Silver Fir Needle, Lemongrass, Clove, Nutmeg and Black Pepper Oil.

The stone for this blend is the Carnelian stone which is good for the Sacral Chakra. This chakra represents happiness, creativity, attraction, success. When balanced helps you be more compassionate and balances your emotions.

The Focus Blend

The Focus blend is also good enough to give me the morning boost I need. However, I prefer to use this before I start my work. After the breakfast and shower I now have my palms ready for a couple of drops of the focus blend. It makes my mind feel like an arrow ready to penetrate whatever I focus on. This essential oil blend is really helpful for focus and improved concentration. The mix of oils this bottle contains can also help with headaches, fatigue, immunity.

This Focus oil blend contains:

Lavandin oil, Peppermint, Wintergreen, Frankincense, Marjoram and Spanish Rosemary oil.

I also place the Lolite stone near to my body me when I am working. The Iolite stone helps healing the Throat Chakra. The chakra responsible for creativity, learning, communication. When balanced it makes you more confident, more expressive, more responsible.

These three blends are the ones I use on a daily basis. They have the necessary ingredients to help me start my day in a good way and carrying out my meditation and my work properly. They help make my day fruitful and feeling satisfied that I did my best.

The Dream Blend

The Dream blend I use it when I feel like I am not sleepy enough to go to bed. This is not everyday. It can be of great help people with issues such as insomnia, anxiety, agitation.

The Dream oil blend contains:

Lavender Oil, Spanish Marjoram, Copaiba, Clary Sage and Roman Chamomile oil.

The dream blend also comes with the Amethyst stone. This is stone is known to help the Third Eye Chakra and Crown Chakra. When balanced these are responsible for enhanced intuition, improved brain capacity, better focus and visualization, divine love, peace, improved intelligence.

The Breathe and Cleanse Blends

In this 7 Essential Oil Blends And 7 Gemstone Crystals And Healing Stones set we also have the the Breathe Blend and the Cleanse Blend oils. I use these with my favourite oil diffuser throughout the day to make my room a pleasant place to be and to breathe. I do not use it everyday, but after a couple of days my nose asks for it. I also use it when I have guests so they have a most pleasant stay. I like to have guests so I try to give them reasons to stay more or to come back soon.

The breath blend can actually help others with issues such as nausea, fever, anxiety, better memory whilst the cleanse bend can relief allergies, infections, skin and hair impurities and act as immunity booster.

The Breathe blend contains:

Eucalyptus oil, Peppermint, Australian Tea Tree, Lemon, Siberian Fir Needle, Cardamom, European Bay Laureal Leaf oil,

whilst the Cleans blend contains

Clove Oil, Cinnamon, Lemon, Eucalyptus and Rosemary oil.

The breath blend comes along with the Lapis Lazuli stone. Lapis Lazuli, the stone of the Gods used to be worn by kings and queens of the ancient Egypt. It has similar vibration as the higher chakras and it is related to creation, with realization of the dreams. It makes you feel more aware and more intuitive.

The Cleanse blend comes along with the Green Aventurine stone. This is known to aid healing the Heart Chakra. A balanced heart chakra makes you feel complete, makes you more connected to the higher self and its desires. It makes you feel empathy, love, trust and forgiveness.

The Digest Blend

The last one from this set is the Digest Blend. I sometimes use a couple of drops to give more taste and vitality into my fruit salads. I also use it in the fruit juices that I use as I am doing my physical training. The oils it contains makes me feel more reinvigorated and gives me a mental and physical boost. It can help with digestion issues, inflammations, blood flow and migraines but it can also work as an appetite suppressant.

The digest blend contains:

Peppermint Oil, Spanish Sage, Cardamon, Ginger and Sweet Fennel Oil.

The stone that comes with this blend is the Yellow Aventurine stone. This stone helps with balancing the Solar Pelxus Chakra. This chakra is known for confidence, intelligence, energy, productivity and increased power of will.

Here is the set of oils and crystals for my daily use:

Before finding out about this blend I used to make my own mixes. Now it is easier and less time consuming to have all the necessary blends in one single set. I us these daily and I am certain that it can help anyone having problems such as fatigue, lack of motivation, pains or even depression. I am not perfect, I to have negative emotions on a regular basis. But ever since I am using essential oils these challenging emotions have dropped a lot in intensity as well as in frequency. Sometimes you just have to use them daily for at least a couple of weeks before the body gets used to their impact on the body and mind.

The Reiki practice is a simple and powerful practice. The term “Reiki” is associated with a method that is using one’s hands to heal the mind, body and spirit of others or himself. Rei is reffering to the universal whilst Ki is associated with the life force or life energies.

The very base of the human life lies in this universal energy. In the human body these energies are blocked through negative emotions, by those around us, or by bad behaviour towards the body and the mind.

Quick Links

check this post to test yourself for blocked or unbalanced chakras.

What are Chakras and how they impact you

The human body is a very complex piece of machinery. Millions of years of evolution made it what is today. The thoughts, emotions and ideas are all possible due to the life energies that carrefully shaped the human body into what it is today. Life would not be possible without these intelligent energy.

This invisible energetic field engulfs the seven bodies of energies known as chakras. The chakras are like wheels that make your energies flow properly keeping you balanced emotionally and spiritually. But a blockage within the flow of this life energy creates energetical disturbances which manifest as diseases in the body or mind.

How does Reiki helps the body, mind and spirit

Reiki is the practice that helps eliminating the blockages between the seven energy centers. It does this by going straight to the root of the issue instead of just hiding the symptoms. A reiki session makes the patient feeling filled with energy and vitality but also peaceful and relaxed.

The Reiki practice is not beneficial just for the ill patient. The disease that one can get does not happen at the moment when the symptoms are obvious, but it rather grows as a plant starts growing from a seed planted in soil. Practicing Reiki when you are already healthy will greatly diminish the chances of getting any illnesses.

The Reiki practice is a unique form of healing. It addresses the physical, the emotional and also the spiritual. Reiki heals your body, balances your emotions and purifies your mind. As children we are available to the universal energy without needing to recharge our batteries. But as we grow up our lives become more and more dynamic and stressful. The family, the job, the mortgage, and other responsibilities makes us experience negative emotions almost on a daily basis. The Pure Reiki practice is the treatment that replenishes your energies back to their initial state helping you go through life situations with ease, free of stress and disease.

Heal Yoursef and Others with the Pure Reiki Healing Master Program What happens in a Reiki session?

Typically, one session is one hour long, but shorter session have great benefits too. The patient lays in bed while the healer does his incantations and moves his hands over him. At the end of the session the patient feels relaxed and reinvigorated both physically and mentally. Some people may feel so relaxed they are falling asleep. Sleep or awake, the Reiki practice is still delivering the goods.

The benefits of using Reiki as a system of healing

This unique system of healing rediscovered and uniquely developed by Dr. Mikao Usui in the mid 1800s offers great benefits to the healer and to the patient. Dr. Mikao Usui was a monk that went into the mountains in the period when Japan was struck by cholera. He returned with an incomplete form of Reiki and then went back again to learn and develop a more complete and effective form of Reiki. These are the benefits of this complete form of Reiki that healers are using today:

  • Reiki is a simple practice; anyone can learn it and use it on oneself as well on others.
  • Reiki healing is 100% risk-free; it can only do good to the practitioner or patient and cannot do damage in any way.
  • no special tools are needed.
  • it can be done at any point in life to anyone.
  • Reiki is not connected to any religion, anyone can practice it regardless of their religious beliefs.
  • Reiki is a gentle use of hands and does not require use of force on the body.

Despite its simplicity, the Reiki practice is a very powerful tool for well-being. Anyone can learn it and used to eliminate or to ease any medical symptoms. Many use this to enhance their lives to a greater scope. We live in a fast paced world that makes us daily overwhelmed with all types of messages, events, situations. Slowly but surely, these daily experiences disturb our emotional and spiritual balance. The Pure Reiki Healing Master training course will make you a true master of the soul.

Many diseases that happen in the human body may be traced back to one or more blocked chakras. Just as there is a physical dimension of the human body so there is a body of energy (pranamayakosha). Starting form the base of the spinal cord and going up above the head, the seven chakras are energetic points located in the energy body. Here are the blocked chakra symptoms that will help you determine which of the seven chakras you need to pay attention to if you aspire to attain peace and well-being.

Quick Links
  1. Symptoms of an unbalanced Root Chakra
  2. Sacral Chakra
  3. Solar Plexus Chakra
  4. Heart Chakra
  5. Throat Chakra
  6. Third Eye Chakra
  7. Crown Chakra
Heal Yoursef and Others with the Pure Reiki Healing Master Program 1. Symptoms of a blocked Root Chakra

An open root chakra will make you feel connected to earth and life. It helps make you aware of you role on this world. This root of all chakras makes you balanced, grounded and offers a deep sense of support and security. Located at the base of the spinal cord a blocked root chakra will manifest itself within this area of your body and also below it. To test yourself if you have a blocked root chakra here some of the symptoms and negative physical effects:

  • leg issues – cramps, varicose veins, diminished water retention, knees pain.
  • issues with male genitalia, prostate glands, rectum.
  • issues with the skeletal system – arthritis, bone diseases, sciatica.
  • constipation.
  • anemia.
  • bulimia or other eating disorders.

On the emotional level the blocked root chakra will diminish the sense of rooting in your endeavours. You may experience difficulties in reaching your goals. An open root chakra will make you feel relaxed and at ease with your life. This is a very important chakra as it impacts the other chakras as well. Just as a plant needs a healthy root to grow and bloom so the root chakra will have an impact on all other chakras.

2. Symptoms of a blocked Sacral Chakra

This is a chakra associated with creativity, playfulness or pleasure energies. It can create difficulties in expressing yourself emotionally. The sacral chakra rules over the pleasure centres. It mostly affects the emotional side of your life. Some issues associated with an obstructed sacral chakra are:

  • addiction, betrayals.
  • lethargy, lack of motivation, feeling overwhelmed.
  • issues with relationships and commitments.
  • lack of joy in relation to sex and creativity.

The blocked sacral chakra can also have an impact on the physical. Here are some physical symptoms to test yourself for a blocked sacral chakra:

  • issues with the female reproductive organs.
  • issues with the lower back, and the pelvic region.
  • problems with the menstrual cycle or other gynecological condtitions.
  • urinary tract infections.

An open sacral chakra will connect with the Divine and the universe through creativity. It makes one feeling deeply committed in relation to the other and elevates the sexual and passionate nature of oneself.

3. Symptoms of a blocked Solar Plexus Chakra

This is a chakra of inner freedom. When the solar plexus chakra is out of balance one will tend towards negative self-talk and being judgemental towards others. This can lead to feelings of anxiety. When this chakra is balanced there is a highthened sense of respect and compassin towards ourselves and others too. It makes us confident and in control of our lives. You can test yourself for having a blocked Solar Plexus Chakra if you experience symptoms like:

  • digestive and gastrointestinal system issues, colon, gallbladder, pancreas and liver.
  • dermatitis, acne, eczema or other skin conditions.
  • chronic fatigue or hypertension.
  • lack of self-esteem or of power of will.
  • general exhaustion, mentally drained or feeling as if on the verge of getting sick.
4. Symptoms of a blocked Heart Chakra

This is a chakra which symptoms are most obvious on an emotional level. On the physical level the damage is not scarce also. It can create serious damage to the immune system. Hence, it can do a lot of damage of the physical level also. Some physical ailments that are related to an unbalanced Heart chakra are:

  • issues with the breasts, lungs and heart..
  • asthmatic conditions
  • issues with upper back region, shoulders or even wrists.
  • issues with the lymphatic system.

On the emotional level the Heart chakra can do even more damage. Here are the emotional signals of a blocked Heart Chakra that you may experience:

  • feelings of loneliness, abandoned, bitter.
  • detachment of the world and even loved ones.
  • general loss of compassion and love.
  • loss of hope, faith, passion, trust.
  • feelings of apathetic nature.

When balanced the Heart chakra will make you feel compassionate, joyful, grateful and forgiving. It will help you feeling deeply connected with the world and to people around you.

5. Symptoms of an Unbalanced Throat Chakra

The throat chakra is related to the upper side of the torso such as neck, facial region, tongue. On the emotional level it relates to the ability to express and to communicate but not only. Some emotional symptoms of an unbalanced Throat Chakra are:

  • lack of communication other than superficial talk.
  • fear, anxiety.
  • ADD, ADHD.
  • lack of willpower, lack of control.
  • issues with communication – an over-stimulated Throat Chakra may present in a person by the desire to manipulate others through use of words and tone, whilst an under-stimulated Throat Chakra will go the other way by making your wants and needs less important and focusing more on others’ wants and needs.
  • feeling victimized or feelings of guilt.

On the physical level the symptoms of an unbalanced Throat Chakra include infections of the throat, mouth tonsils, neck tensions, headaches. When this chakra is balanced there is an easiness to communicate and to express. It also makes you a great and a compassionate listener. It enhances your ability to create and to manifest your desires through Divine connection.

6. Symptoms of an Unbalanced Third Eye Chakra

This chakra is related to having an heightened level of perspective and consciousness. When the Third Eye Charka is working well one feels alert, focused with heightened power of concentration. True knowledge, wisdom and truth are other words related to this chakra.

Some physical symptoms of a blocked Third Eye Chakra are:

  • hormonal imbalances.
  • migraines, seizures.
  • sinusitis, eye fatigue, loss of hearing.
  • issues with allergies.

On the emotional level some obvious symptoms of an imbalanced Third Eye Chakra are:

  • lack of concentration.
  • excessive daydreaming.
  • excessive self-reflection.
  • sleep issues such as insomnia, excessive sleep.
  • volatile behaviour, irregular shift moods.
