The Priapus Shot, or P-shot, is a revolutionary procedure in regenerative medicine that uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to restore healthy tissue and optimize functioning of the penis. About 60 ml of blood is drawn and processed to extract the PRP. The penis is then anesthetized and then the PRP is injected into various areas. The whole process takes about an hour, but the actual injections take about 5-15 minutes.
What kind of results will I see?
That depends on what your are getting the P-shot for. For Peyronie’s disease, where scar tissue is disrupting the structure of the penis causing painful bent erections, the P-shot helps break up the fibrous scar tissue and replace it with more normal tissue. For erectile dysfunction, the P-shot can help restore normal erections by bringing growth factors and blood flow to the penis. Ultimately, results vary from person to person and are also determined by compliance with daily use of the penis pump.
How long will it take to see results?
Results can take up to 12 weeks to take effect, though they may be quicker with repeated injections.
What do I need to do after the procedure?
Immediately after the injections, the doctor will have you use the penis pump for 10 minutes. You’ll then use the pump for 10 minutes at a time twice per day. Most guys do it first thing in the morning and again before bed, but you may adjust according to your schedule. The pump should be used like this for at least 1 month but ideally 3 months. The idea here is that the pumping is like a workout–you’ll get more reliable results with faithfully using the pump twice per day.
Do I need to get the P-shot® more than once?
The P-shot is standalone treatment, however, results are seen with each subsequent treatment. Since your own PRP is used, there is no limit to the number of P-shots you can receive.
Is this considered a “penis enlargement” treatment?
Results vary widely when it comes to gaining length or girth with the P-shot. Some men experience up to 35 mm of length and 30 mm of girth, but some may not experience any size changes. The best chance at obtaining any size changes would be to be as regular as possible with the pump, and consider getting a series of P-Shots.
Is the P-Shot® painful?
The P-shot is not without some discomfort, however, we use topical numbing agents before doing any injection to minimize the discomfort.
Will the P-Shot® or pumping cause any damage to my penis?
Since your own PRP is used, no damage is caused to the penis during the procedure or from pumping.
How soon after the procedure can I get back to sexual activity?
Within 24-48 hours, you should be ready to resume all normal sexual function.

Amniotic allograft is a treatment that can be applied in the same way as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments. Amniotic fluid is consentually obtained during a c-section delivery and quickly frozen for storage. Allograft just means that the fluid is derived from someone who is not the patient receiving treatment. In some cases, amniotic fluid can be stored for future use for the child if the need arises in which case this would be called autologous treatment.
Is amniotic allograft therapy the same as stem cell therapy?
While amniotic fluid in its natural state does contain stem cells, these cells are not viable after cryopreservation. Therefore there are no living stem cells in amniotic allograft fluid. The many growth factors, however, do survive this process and are very useful in orthopedic and regenerative medicine. If the stem cells were alive in the allograft, these therapies would then be considered a cellular drug and would subject to rigorous scrutiny by the FDA as there is no FDA approval of stem cells as a therapy.
How is it different than PRP therapy?
PRP therapy utilizes your own blood plasma as a way to deliver a potent dose of growth factors. Platelets are a natural reservoir of several types of growth factors that can lead to increased healing response and regeneration of tissue that was previously degenerating. Amniotic fluid is a potent source of many types of growth factors that are required to fetal growth. This amniotic allograft is then added to your PRP so you are actually getting the benefit of both treatments in one. The other main difference is cost as amniotic fluid is more difficult to obtain than the patient’s own plasma.
What conditions can be treated with amniotic allograft?
Just as with PRP therapy, amniotic allograft can be applied almost anywhere since the growth factors can be used by any part of the body. However, there is one application where amniotic allograft can excel over PRP and that is with IV infusions. Amniotic allograft IV infusions are great for targeting neurological, cardiac, systemic, and aging issues. Many other conditions can be treated with amniotic allograft-infused PRP therapy such as:
Degenerative joint conditions
Sports or over-use injuries
Acne scars and facial rejuvenation
When can I expect to see the benefits after treatment?
The healing response typically begins within a day after treatment depending on the type of treatment received. Peak benefit is typically seen between 8-12 weeks. Depending on the condition being treated these benefits can last up to 2 years or even longer in some cases.
Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)?
Why are bio-identical hormones so important?
Hormone replacement therapy has been in the news a lot in the past and many still have a ill-conceived perception about this time of medicine. That is because is was done wrong years ago and it was doing harm to the population BUT times have changed and we now have SAFE and BENEFICIAL. Bio-identical hormones differ from synthetic hormones mostly in the way that they interact with you body. Bio-identical hormones are created from natural sources and are very close to the hormones found in our body, making it easier for the body to bond with. Because of this, there are less side-effects than you might have with synthetic hormones that do not match the body’s natural mechanisms.
What if I do experience side effects?
Typically with bio-identical hormones, if you are experiencing side effects, then the dosage is just most likely off but you should consult with your medical provider if you are feeling any. Again, that is one of the major benefits of bio-identical vs synthetic. Synthetic hormone, although they can help, are artificial to the body and can disrupt how the body should work. So these side effects have the potential to be very serious, where as the likelihood for bio-identical hormones side effect to be dangerous is low (again, typically just a dosage concern).
Who should be considering BHRT?
Really it depends on how you are feeling and what your goals are. Mostly this is for people that have reached adulthood because of all the changes that are happening in the body during adolescence. Most adults though could benefit from testing with a specialist to see where their hormones could be off. The most important item to realize is that most general practice doctors focus on hormone balancing and make sure that you are in the “normal ranges.” The issue with focusing on “normal ranges” is that normal is not OPTIMAL. If you want your body to operate at it’s best, then you should be working with someone that understands how hormone levels work and what are the most optimal levels for them to operate at. Simply adjustments in your hormone levels can mean the difference of a good nights sleep vs a sleep routine that is constantly interrupted by your own. Or maybe your energy levels are just out of cycle.
So if you are trying to make changes in you life like losing weight, getting better sleep, eating healthier, and you are not achieving the results that you think you should be, then maybe it is your hormones. Find a qualified provider that specializes in BHRT and have then take a look. You might be surprised at what you find out.
Regenerative medicine is the practice of using one’s own body to heal itself. Most commonly this is done using Prolotherapy, PRP, Stem Cells and Amniotic sources. These methods engage the body’s own healing mechanism to take over and actually regenerative damaged tissues in the body. This can be used for many different aspect on the body including; joints, tendons, skin tightening and muscle tears. So let’s go over a little more about what each of these therapies are.
The time of needing dangerous and possibly unneeded surgeries are coming to an end. There are still situations where surgery is necessary and recommended, but with regenerative medicine we can potentially heal up to 90% of all injuries non-surgically. It is important to find well qualified people to discuss these options will and our staff is happy to assist with any questions that people might have.
This procedure uses a concentrated dextrose solution that is injected into the arthritic or degenerated tissue. It then acts as a stimulant to initiate the healing cascade. The body will take over and send the healing cells and continue the regenerative process. It has been used safely for years without significant risks and well showing well studied benefits and success.
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
A blood draw is done and the healing platelets, growth factors and circulating stem cells are separated in our lab. The cells are concentrated and then injected back into the area of concern to start the healing cascade and repair the injury, arthritis or painful area.
The cells are drawn from the pelvic bone marrow. The cells are then processed in the lab and separated from the other cells. The concentrated stem cells are then injected back into the arthritic joint or degenerated area to heal and repair the damaged or degenerated tissue. It is the most potent of the healing options available.
For those that might not have enough healthy stem cells, amniotic allografts might be the next best tools. The are stem cells derived from placental tissue of healthy mothers that have fully delivered their babies. This very strong and natural tissue if cleaned and stored properly to be used in medical situations. This is great substitute for when your stem cells might not be at the right level for orthopedic services.
In the future we will go much deeper into each of these solutions.
Old Way of Losing Weight Not Working Any Longer????
So you decided to lose weight and have changed your diet, started exercising more, and made some lifestyle changes. These probably have helped you in that past and even now but you might be finding it harder and harder than it once was. Why is this? It is not like science has changed, these common methods should still be the solution… and they are!
What we are finding more and more though is that the body itself is changing and you might need to help it but looking at its internal functions. Commonly, in men, our testosterone and thyroid levels have a major impact on our ability to regulate body weight and fat composition. As we age, our bodies naturally start to change, and hormones are usually the first to change. When these hormones start to get out of the optimal ranges, it results in our body functioning differently and the old methods of getting healthy are not as effective any longer.
Find a provider that can not only test your hormone levels but help you get them to an OPTIMAL level is the key to gaining back your results that you are searching for. Notice that I mentioned “optimal” because many doctors can test your hormones but only those trained to optimize hormone levels will help you get them where they should be for maximum results. Typically these providers are training in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) or Functional Medicine.
So make sure that your are working with the properly training medical professionals that can help you achieve the results that you are looking for.
Today more than ever, we are able to not only live great lives, but we are now able to slow down the aging process. The old methods of “diet and exercise” are still key to stay young and healthy but they are many other way that we can slow down the aging process. Below are a couple ways that you can do this:
Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy is the medicine that has some of the highest impact in anti-aging because it is focused on optimizing your hormone level, allowing your body to function properly. This of your hormones like a symphony. If you just one of your hormones are play “off-key,” then the symphony as a whole starts to suffer and becomes unbearable. A good BHRT provider can act like a conductor and locate that hormone that is not sounds right and help that hormone section to get back to playing right, resulting in the symphony working harmoniously again.
Anti-Oxidants and Supplementation:
Supplying your body with what it needs is a key contributor to staying healthy. Many times we try our best to eat healthy and get the nutrients that our bodies need but often this does not result in optimal levels. Even the food that we know is healthy might be lacking nutrients that we thought it had. Or maybe our body is not absorbing them enough. This is where taking good quality supplements and anti-oxidants can help. The supplements can help us get higher levels of essential nutrients and the anti-oxidants help fight free radicals in our body and protect our cells.
Telomeres are located at the end of your chromosomes and have been found to be a key part of aging. If you think of your shoelace at your chromosome, then the end of that shoelaces, where the plastic holds is together, would be your telomere. As you age, that telomere starts to shrink and once it shrinks too much, your shoelace (chromosome) will unravel. This unraveling is what leading to aging and diseases. You can prevent this by proper nutrition, regular exercise, good supplementation, and keeping your hormones optimized. There are additional supplements and protocols to help but these are the easy things that you can start today.
Don’t let your body age when it does not have to, find a provider that specializes in Anti-Aging medicine and you will quickly realize that aging is now more of a choice, than a reality.
There are many types of testosterone on the market, choosing the proper testosterone is important. It is important when we discuss testosterone that we are clear on what type of testosterone we are talking about, synthetic vs bio-identical, and the quality of research that has been done to substantiate its proper use. We suggest bio-identical testosterone.
With the proper type of testosterone therapy it may help:
Increase Libido (Sex Drive)
Reduce excess body fat

Lose weight, focus your energy in the right place! - YouTube
One of the most frustrating parts of the health and fitness industry is how many myths are out there.
These myths make people believe they can easily lose weight, get stronger, get a six-pack, and look great in a bikini. The truth is most of these myths are coming from people that are just wanting you to buy their product.
Let me touch on a few…
The new __________ diet is the best diet plan out there because it will help you lose weight and get you into the best shape of your life! All you have to do is purchase and the fat will fall off!
The truth is diets do work. When people don’t do the diet, then they don’t work. To lose weight and become lean most people need a calorie deficit. This means you have to burn more calories in a day than you eat.
There are millions of diets out there. We recommend a whole food, no sugar/no processed food diets.
These type of meal plans are really a lifestyle, new way of eating type of diets that can make a huge difference in your life.
1. Detoxing the body and reduce inflammation
2. Lower significant body fat
3. Eating Real food- Vegetables, fruits, lean meats, healthy fats
We often hesitate to mention one diet over another but do strongly recommend two rules that if followed will help you lose weight.
1. Whole foods only.
Unprocessed, whole food that has not been adulterated, changed, refined, vitamin fortified, bleached, additional sugar, fructose, corn syrup, sucrose, etc.
Spending hours on cardio equipment is the best way to lose fat.
If you love the treadmill or elliptical great! Continue to use it, but please be open to different forms of exercise. Studies have proven that resistance training and interval training are more effective for fat loss, in less time than steady state cardio for an extended period of time.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t have hours upon hours of my day available for exercise. I can show you how to burn the same number of calories in a 20-minute workout full of variety, compared to a 60-minute workout on an elliptical.
Interested in trying a great workout with resistance and variety. Then keep it really simple at first. You can even do interval walking for 20min a day, with those great new apps and watches to monitor your heart rate. (check with your doctor first)
The number #1 way to lose weight is with dietary changes. The weight comes on slowly from our daily intake of high-calorie foods, with low nutritional value.
It is very difficult to wrap our minds around this concept because looks are deceiving. We are surrounded by an abundance of food. But, a majority of the food we eat is processed, mass produced to provide us with high satisfaction, ease of use, and a desire to consume again. It is part of the world we currently live in.
How do we break this process?
Step 1: Simply just start to become aware and conscious of what we are eating.
Step 2: Be open to educating yourself on whole food, back to basics meals and at home food preparation.
Step 3: Implement, one meal at a time. Maybe it is prepping your lunch daily, or simply making your own coffee at home so you don’t swing by the drive-through menu of high-calorie coffee drinks every morning.
We are always here to help. Please reach out if you need any assistance, help, or guidance.
I bet you already know that goal setting is a key to success. Setting a goal gives you a roadmap. Think about going through an unfamiliar city with no map and trying to find an exact location. Good luck, right?
What most people do is set a goal they are certain to fail. Let me give you an example…
“I want to lose 50 pounds”
Have you set a goal like this before?
For you to succeed at a goal you need a roadmap with exacts and details. If you add in details of when you want to lose 50 pounds by, how you are going to lose 50 pounds, and who is going to be part of the team to help you lose 50 pounds, you have added details.
This is the same way to succeed in other health goals as well, more energy, better sleep, lower cholesterol levels.
To add exacts you need to prioritize your time so you work on your goal every single day of the week. Write down the process that you will do each day to get closer to achieving your goals.
