This is part of my free Mind Your Mind Series going on right now and it’s a super simple strategy for lowering stress, overwhelm and anxiety.

Here’s the big takeaway:

Everything you say and everything you think…

YOUR MIND IS LISTENING.

And then your mind directs your brain what messages to send to the body. Your mind believes YOU and this affects your brain, your body and your experiences in life.

Here’s 3 types of thoughts that keep you stuck and spinning:

Do you ever hold back from saying what you really think or from getting involved in an effort to “keep the peace” in your family, your relationship or your workplace?

Women are natural born peace makers but at what cost?

Consider this quote from Cheryl Richardson:

“If you avoid conflict to keep the peace, you start a war inside yourself”

I’ve seen it over and over in the years I’ve been coaching women…
Unexpressed thoughts, unfilled dreams and resignation to other people’s expectations result in emotions stored in the body and in the brain. These emotions often manifest into weight gain, dis-ease, overwhelm, anxiety, depression, addiction and self-hatred.

Is this happening to you?

It’s easy to overlook these things and tell yourself “That’s not why I don’t feel good. It must be something else.”

One of the ways you might be keeping the peace is by wearing politically correct, socially acceptable HATS and MASKS.

You can detox these stuffed emotions and when you do, you’ll also detox the stress from your brain.

Here’s a strategy the women in our Vibrant Woman tribe are practicing.
Give it a try and comment on what you like best about it.
Then “like” our channel to receive more trainings to supercharge your brain!

Here’s the strategy:

Last week the women in our Vibrant Woman group learned a powerful exercise for trusting their gut. The interesting thing was, for most of them it was a struggle.

One member put it this way,

“I’m struggling with balance in my life.
Decision making and trusting my gut is also where I have difficulty”

As a woman, you can probably relate to their struggle.
You know you can make a difference in the world and have a bigger dream . . .
But your job, your family and your “responsibilities” always come first.
You’re ambitious! Running at warp speed but still don’t seem to get ahead.
There doesn’t seem to be enough time for anything else.

Here’s the problem with your thinking:
You think it’s an either/or because you don’t know how to “find” the time.

I’m here to tell you its not an either/or.
IF you learn to how align your time with your priorities and practice these very important techniques for time management you can be there for your family and responsibilities AND start prioritizing yourself and your dreams.

Here’s a training I just recorded on this very subject. In addition to the techniques, you’ll learn the one thing that is ABSOLUTELY necessary for finding balance in life (and something better than balance).

Listen in now and give our channel a “like” to see more trainings like this!

You'll Never Find Balance Without This - YouTube

With love,

PS – Will you do me a favor? I want to know if trainings like this are helpful for you so after you listen to the video, PLEASE comment and share what you liked the most about it and if there’s anything else you’d like to learn about this topic so I know what to teach that would help. Thank you!!

Last week I had what I KNOW was DIVINE intervention.

I know that because all of a sudden, there seemed to be “coincidences” happening left and right.

For a while, I’d been feeling that something was missing or out of alignment.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been up to some really cool stuff this past year . . . but I was also starting to feel a disconnect.

Then at the retreat for The Vibrant Woman members, I drew a card.

It said “Retreat

My interpretation could have been “Wow! I’m hosting a retreat – what a coincidence.”

But I knew with my gut the deeper meaning this card revealed was,
“to pull back may be the best way to move forward.”

I took it in and went about my mind’s plans.

Then last week, I drew another card and it guided
“the presence of God is everywhere, so if you feel disconnected from the Divine, you’re the one who left. Your Nature Spirits are beckoning you back to a place of awareness that reconnects you to your source.”

In the moment I drew that card, I knew 2 things . . .
  1. I’d been ignoring my GUT brain
  2. I was canceling a trip to a WONDERFUL event that I’d planned for the weekend.

I CHOSE to follow the guidance of that card and spent the weekend with God in our creation:

Here’s what I realized about why I’d been feeling disconnected: We all have at least THREE brains and I’d only been listening to ONE.

I had to share because If you are feeling RESTLESS, OVERWHELMED or ANXIOUS the same is likely true for you.

I shared more about our 3 Brains in last week’s Feel Good Friday.

You can access this video and many others on our Facebook Page at: https://www.facebook.com/onewholehealth/

Like us now and you’ll see new trainings every Friday.

In this training, I give you steps to take to engage ALL of your brains, because when you do, you will truly live your highest expression of authenticity.

And that . . . FEELS GOOD!!!

With love,

Using ALL Your Brains

I wasn't using ALL my brains!!!Feel Good Friday

Nothing is more draining than when you are trying so hard to reach a goal and still not getting the result you expect. I hear this from the women in our community all the time

“I’m doing all the right things and nothing seems to work.”

This can make you feel frustrated, exhausted and hopeless, whether you are trying to:

-lose weight
-find a new love relationship
-get your children to listen to you
-stop arguing with your spouse
-manifest abundance
-advance in your career

And it’s especially difficult when what you are REALLY trying to do is just be happy with your life.

I know exactly what it’s like.
I spent years trying to be skinny enough, pretty enough and smart enough.
I swam in the tidal wave of perfectionism trying to muscle my way into expectations and results that were usually not even mine-they were the expectations of other people.
(And I hid it all behind really cool clothes, make up and even blond hair for a while lol!)

And when I wasn’t able to achieve the result, I spent my time HIDING my imperfections.
I thought it I worker even harder and pleased more people no one would see what a failure I was.

I hit a point where I walked away from both my career and my 13-year relationship because I thought each was demanding too much from me and I was never going to be enough.

It was during this downward spiral that I learned one of the most important lessons I ever could.
My unhappiness wasn’t coming from whether or not I achieved a result.
And it wasn’t coming from what other people thought about me.
It was coming from what I thought it meant that I wasn’t achieving the results.

Its taken years of practice and reaching out for support to make this lesson a way of living for me.

I recently recorded a training on how to get out of that spiral and you can listen in right here:
You Are Not Your Results - YouTube

This is also why I created The Vibrant Woman.

To help other women out of perfectionism and people pleasing and into their unstoppable flow.
All women are born to be vibrant.
We are part physical, mental, emotional and spiritual and when you learn to engage all of those aspects of you and focus yourself on what you do and HOW you do it versus result……happiness blooms from within. This is what I help you do in The Vibrant Woman.

The Vibrant Woman is not a health program with a specific end goal in mind where you focus only on the result.

The Vibrant Woman is an experience with the perfect blend of coaching, training, community and accountability where you learn steps to fully engage all aspects of yourself to achieve any goal you set for yourself BY BEING HAPPY FIRST.

If you are ready to stop the cycle of thinking you ARE your results and generate happiness from the inside out,
I’ve carved out some time on my calendar this week to talk to you.
Click here to book a no-strings attached call with me this week.
Spaces are first come first serve

There’s a Vibrant Woman inside of you that is so much bigger than any one results and it’s her time to SHINE!

I love the expression Bloom Where You are Planted. That might be because I’m a farmer’s daughter who was raised in the ebb and flow of the seasons.

But it’s my years of studying neuroscience and law of attraction that has me appreciating that phrase fully.

Living the philosophy of Bloom Where You Are Planted has helped me release so much anxiety and overwhelm in my life  and it helps my clients do the same.

I cut this quick training on how to start thinking this way so that you can ease some anxiety and overwhelm too.

Give it a listen now and then head over to the Supercharge Your Brain Facebook Group  and share what you found most helpful.

Palliative Care Nurse Bonnie Ware compiled list of regrets of the dying and the top 5 regrets were:

1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me
2. I wish I didn’t work so hard.
3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.
4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
5. I wish I had let myself be happier.

Have you had even one day where you felt the same?

These regrets didn’t come on all at once.
They crept in.
Little by little.
So gradual they were easily brushed aside by “bigger” priorities. Usually other people’s priorities.

Carrie, a new member of our Vibrant Woman tribe gets this.
She told me  “I said yes because if I don’t make change now, I may never.”

You deserve to live a life without regrets, so I cut this training on 4 steps that can help you create an IDEAL day, every day.
4 Steps to Create Your Ideal Day - YouTube

In his Stanford graduation address Steve Jobs famously said,
“Your Time Is Limited, So Don’t Waste It Living Someone Else’s Life.”

What are you waiting for?
Take Action!

For many years just the sound of the word urgency sent me into a panic!

When someone said urgency, my mind heard
“pressure, burden, opportunity to fail.”

I speak with women every week who literally freeze at the thought of making a decision or taking action and who are stuck in feeling like they are behind.

If you relate, here’s what you need to know:

Not taking action or making decisions actually disturbs your peace more than urgency.

When you hesitate and procrastinate, it means your mind holds on to thoughts and it’s these thoughts that build up into pressure.

Urgency is really the “act” of being in the present moment vs ruminating and over-thinking.

I cut a quick training on how to make peace with urgency and you can watch it NOW:

Make Peace With Urgency - YouTube

Urgency is actually the same as mindfulness.

It’s being in the moment, not thinking about anything else and taking action.

Here’s to your peace,

Will you check in with yourself and be completely honest with your answer:

How much time and energy do you spend trying to change something that IS?
How much time and energy do you spend trying to keep things the same?

You can experience a tremendous energy boost when you LET GO and go with the natural flow of things.

All things in life have a “season” – day, night, sunrise, sunset, Spring, Fall, full moon, quarter moon, high tide, low tide, inhale, exhale, birth, death

There are times when we humans forget our inner rhythm and inner intelligence.
We look outside ourselves for answers and try to “manage” or predict the future (not to mention analyze the past).
You may find yourself unintentionally trying to control or manipulate the cycles…control the outcome.

One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself and your energy level is to honor the cycles.
Expect the change.
Embrace the new.
Let go of the old.

You are energy and energy must move and change.

Here’s a training I did recently on this subject:
How to Handle Change - YouTube

Life is meant to be enjoyed and you are meant to feel good!

One thing I know about the women in our community is that you are all powerful creators . . . truly . . .

You can create anything you want for your life as long as you believe in yourself.

But do your emotions ever get in the way of that?

Do you feel overwhelmed with the challenges of life and does that overwhelm turn into anxiety, uncertainty and self-doubt that leads you to react?

Do your emotions get in the way of being your best?

In my 20’s and 30’s I had a terrible relationship with my emotions. I’d have panic attacks over the simplest things and the flood of my emotions made me sad and defeated even when things were going well.  I hated my emotions which meant hated a part of myself.

That’s a painful way to live.

Over the weekend, I was reminded of one of my “freak-out” moments. So I cut this quick video to share it with you because:

  1. I’ve learned to live with my emotions and not let them get the best of me
  2. You can learn to do that too

You will step into your full power when you stop letting emotions slow down your momentum.

Listen in to learn the Two Ways Most Women Let Their Emotions Get The Best of Them and how to break free.

You’ll even get some tips from my horses.

Harness Your Emotions to Unbridle Your Potential - YouTube

Life is meant to be enjoyed and you are meant to feel good!

PS. I could never have learned to manage my emotions if I hadn’t restored my depleted brain chemistry first. In The Vibrant Woman, I help you do both. Take our free Self Scoring Brain Chemistry Assessment here to see if your brain chemistry is hi-jacking your joy and purpose.
