It was nice getting out to wet a line. It been so rainy in the Midwest.
I was able to try out the Robert Meade Shuffler fly I demonstrated at NIFTy last week.
I was able to catch a few Largemouth Bass before the thunderstorm rolled in.

Bob Hovet and Mark LoVerde saw Corey Gale tying deer hair popper flies at The Early Show this past fall and were very impressed with his work. Since a number of Nifty members have noted they are not comfortable tying these flies, it struck them as the perfect opportunity to upscale Nifty member skills. Corey graciously agreed to demonstrate for Nifty members his deer hair spinning techniques. Corey demonstration was entertaining, educational and the results were amazing. Thank you Corey!
