Dear 3C Parents and Families, It is the last week of school! It is still hard to believe we have reached this point in the year. See below for an update on what we will be doing this week. Math: We will continue our Singapore math assessments this week. To wrap up the year we will also play some math games and review the content we learned over the course of the year.
Science: This week in Science we are going to be learning about space travel and what life is like in space for astronauts.
History: We will be presenting our in-class colony project this week! The students will be graded on completion, accuracy, and presentation.
I hope you all enjoyed a relaxing weekend and a happy Mother's Day! I can not believe we have reached this point in the school year. As we enter the last two weeks of school I am reflecting on how lucky I am to have been able to work with the amazing students in 3C this year. These kids have endured a lot of change this year and they have handled all of it beautifully. I feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Mrs. Chilson, Coach Warren, Mrs. Mathot, and Mrs. Cardinal this year. Each of these educators have touched the hearts of my students this year and I am so happy to have had them as part of our classroom community this year.
Thank you all so much for everything last week. Teacher Appreciation Week at Arete is always magical! Between the delicious lunches, sweet cards, pretty flowers, and generous gifts I definitely felt appreciated. Arete's parents are one of a kind!
Please reach out with anything you may need or have questions about as we finish out the year.
