Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts in the UK. It's Jay Soriano here, super excited to join the Stamp Review Crew! Led by super talented Tanya Boser, we are an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators here to inspire you with different ideas on a specific stamp set. You can hop along with us every first and third Mondays of the month for your Stampin' Up! inspirations

You may have started here or arrived from With A Bow On Top by Lou Kitzelman. You will find a 'Next Blog' button at the end of this post to continue along the hop to My Papercraft Journey by Kelly Kent

The stamp set we are highlighting today is Tabs For Everything. There are 53 stamps in this set which  are great for planners, journals and calendars. You can mix & match the sentiments and images for your project needs. It can also be ordered with the Circle Tab Punch as a bundle saving you 10%

For my projects, I created 3 cards using the KISS technique and even created a new (to me) interactive card. The KISS technique is basically taking a dark inked stamp on top of a light coloured ink stamp before stamping on card

These 2 small cards can even be used as gift tags measuring at 7.4cm x 7.4cm
Dapper Denim and Sweet Sugarplum cardbase
Whisper White layer 6.5cm x 6.5cm
Sponged inks in the middle, Marina Mist and Blushing Bride
Stamped the sentiments in different generations in the same colour ink
I used lighter inks on the line design for both cards, Pool Party and Powder Pink
The darker ink for the elephant is Dapper Denim and Sweet Sugarplum for the heart
Stamped on Whisper White then punch with 1" Circle Punch

Before adhering the topper, I added Gold Metallic Thread and I punched 3 more 1" circles in the same colour as the card bases for each card to add height. The sentiments were stamped in Tuxedo Black and hand cut with Paper Snips, adhered with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals then finished with the Rhinestone Jewel

For my 3rd project, I created my first Waterfall Card, with sponging and kiss techniques to decorate the front
Whisper White cardbase 10.5cm x 14.5cm
Sweet Sugarplum mat 10cm x 14cm
Whisper White layer 9.5cm x 13.5cm

I used the 2 smallest squares from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and created 5 panels in total plus the long pull tab. Each panels were stamped with the line design and contains different sentiments which are also stamped randomly on the bottom right of the card

I added backing for each panels to tidy the back a little but made it a little heavy for the horizontal support of Sahara Sand and Powder Pink strips decorated in Rhinestones

For the pull tab, I stamped the stars in Blushing Bride and the 'U' from Letters For You in Sweet Sugarplum. Finished with Powder Pink Finely Woven Ribbon

It is a fun interactive card and I definitely learned from this project for next time

Make sure you hop all the way around to see all the crew's creative projects using Tabs For Everything. Click the 'Next Blog' button to be taken to My Papercraft Journey by Kelly Kent

Welcome to the Creating Kindness Design Team blog hop and thank you for stopping by here at Mitosu Crafts in the UK with me Jay Soriano

The design team with our new addition, Jerim Dickins and our Special Guest Designer this month, Lou Kitzelman of With a Bow on Top have created Fun Fold projects for you to enjoy. As always with the Creating Kindness Blog Hop, you will find a video demonstration of my project, as well as a full list of the blogs in this hop at the end of this post

#ckdt #creatingkindness #stampinup

The Magical Day set from the 2018 Spring / Summer Occasions Catalogue is one of my current favourites. I have chosen to colour the Wizard from the set and made him the focal point for my diorama card. This standalone fancy fun fold card, also folds flat for posting and the image looks like its floating inside, which was quite hard to capture on camera

The Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends Combo works well with the Pink Pirouette Dark Blends for the highlights. They also co-ordinate with the Berry Burst Fresh Florals DSP and Fresh Fig Cardstock. I did add Berry Burst ink with a sponge brayer to soften the white design on the DSP and keep the focus on the Magical Wizard

I used one of the die from Flourish Thinlits set to add interest around the Wizard with the Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper. Backed on Whisper White card to strengthen the Glimmer Paper and hold it's shape using Fine-Tip Glue Pen but you can also use the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets before die cutting

Fresh Fig Cardbase 29.7cm x 10.5cm
Scored at 7, 14, 21 & 28cm

Create an aperture with 2cm border on two 7cm panels

Fresh Florals DSP 13.5cm x 10cm

Fresh Fig card strip mechanism 14cm x 2cm
Scored at 3.5, 6, 8 & 10.5cm

Thank you for stopping by and welcome to the Creative Circle Blog Hop. You are currently at Mitosu Crafts in the UK with me, Jay Soriano. You will find a full list of the Design Team at the end of this post to continue your way around the hop

The theme for this month is 'Easter or Eggstraordinary'. There are a couple of new products in the 2018 Spring / Summer Occasions Catalogue which would be great for this hop like You're Inspiring, Hello Easter and Hold on to Hope stamp set with the co-ordinating Cross of Hope Framelits Dies

We don't have any of these and I contemplated on making something out of what I designed for our ScanNCut. I decided against it in the end and to keep it Stampin' Up! I looked into our craft stash to come up with alternative stamp sets to use

I started of with die cutting an oval using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Die on Very Vanilla cardstock. I used this as a template and draw lightly on the Sahara Sand cardbase to guide my stamping

The leaves from Painted Harvest were stamped in Tranquil Tide in a mixture of different generations to create depth. Once done, I stamped 'Easter' using the Brushwork Alphabet and adhered the topper on the cardbase

The iridescent glimmer paper from Myths & Magic pack was die cut with 3 designs from the Flourish Thinlits set. I also used the Leaf Punch on Vellum and Linen Thread to place under the flowers

I may have gone overboard with the Gold Glitter Flakes for this card but it's so shiny, I just love it!

Finally, the 'Happy' banner is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments 'Happy Easter' and Classic Label Punch

I wanted to create another project that's a little more fun...so I went to the shops and bought some Easter chocolates. I found quite a few so for my 2nd project, I used these cute mini sheep and chicken chocolate treats to create a holder. These are great for class gifts, craft fairs or as teacher gifts

I used some of the materials from the card and introduced the Fresh Florals DSP, Silver Mini Sequins Trim, Tranquil Tide and Pear Pizazz cardstock

These treats are 3 for £1 from Tesco and you can make 3 Easter chocolate holders from 1 A4 cardstock. They fit perfectly in the treat holder and don't they look even cuter?!

Measurements:
Sahara Sand 29.7cm x 6cm
score at 5.5, 15, 19, 20.5 & 25cm
turn over and lightly score at 11cm
Fresh Florals DSP 5.5cm x 10cm
Pear Pizazz or Tranquil Tide 6cm x 2.5cm
Silver Mini Sequins Trim 15cm

I'm still editing a VIDEO TUTORIAL for this Easter chocolate holder so check back soon so you too can make your own

Click on the banner below to be taken to the next blog for more Easter card and papercraft ideas. Make a wishlist as you hop along and don't forget to come back and order your Stampin' Up! craft supplies from Mitosu Crafts UK Online Shop or from your local Creative Circle Design Team

Thanks for stopping by, it's Jay here with my card idea for Paper Craft Crew's Card Sketch Challenge #PCC278

I used the FREE exclusive Sale-A-Bration stamp set called Epic Celebrations to create this card for guys. The set contains six awesome stamps, four of which I used on this card including the sentiment. You too can earn the Epic Celebrations Stamp Set for FREE when you place a qualifying order of £45 (before p&p) from our UK Online Shop - HERE

Basic Black Cardbase 14.5cm x 10.5cm

I adhered the silver washi tape from Myths & Magic pack on the left and gold embossed the splatters to follow the sketch

I stamped the headphone image on Whisper White card with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloured with Stampin' Blends. The circle stitched framelit was then used to die cut the topper

The Sheet Music background was stamped diagonally on a strip of Whisper White card and coloured as above to darken the card. This helps to keep the focus on the topper

I stamped the guitar image on shrink plastic, and coloured with Stampin' Blends after shrinking with the heat tool. As the shrink plastic was transparent I needed a white background to let it shine, so I used the Classic Label punch on Whisper White card to create a banner which holds the mini sentiment

For the main sentiment, I used the Marker to Stamp technique to achieve an ombre look. I also used the blends to introduce the same colours from the topper

To finish the card, I adhered a few Gold Glitter Flakes to continue the gold elements from the splatters on the left hand side

I am also entering this card to the following challenges:

I hope you are inspired with this card sketch for #PCC278. You can check out the other Design Team's creative inspirations back at the Paper Craft Crew blog and play along the challenge by submitting your own handmade creation ~ HERE

Welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK and thanks for stopping by. It's Jay here with another card idea using the Beautiful Day flower stamp from the Spring/Summer Occasions Catalogue coloured with the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers

This card is inspired by the sketch challenge at Global Design Project #GDP122 which I am entering

My card also uses a FREE Level 1 exclusive item from the Sale-A-Bration brochure; the Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes, which you too can earn with a qualifying order of £45 from our UK Online Shop

Stampin' Blend colours used:

For a visual demonstration of how I coloured the flower using Stampin' Blends, please check out the video below

Colouring Beautiful Day Flower with Stampin' Blends - YouTube

Following the GDP sketch, I punched 2 Everyday Label design on Bermuda Bay cardstock, cut them in half and used 3 at the bottom. The colour was quite striking and took away from the flower so I did the same with Vellum and overlaid on top to soften it

I embossed a Very Vanilla card with the Petal Burst design and tried to match the colour of the envelope in lay with a strip of Sahara Sand card

I changed the string element with the new Lemon Lime Twist Mini Striped Ribbon and tied a knot with the Whisper White Sheer Ribbon

The sentiment is from All Things Thanks set, stamped with Memento and fussy cut with Paper Snips to finish the card

Thanks again for stopping by. Until next time, BYEEEEE!

Thanks for stopping by and welcome to Mitosu Crafts in the UK with me Jay Soriano. I am back sharing my Design Team card inspiration for the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch Challenge #PCC277. This layout has a lot of layers and ideal for a Valentine's project with the heart shapes but can be changed for an all occasion card idea

For my project, I used products from the Picture Perfect Suite on pages 4 - 5 of the 2018 Spring / Summer Occasions Catalogue

I also took inspiration from the colour combination of the Picture Perfect Party A4 Cardstock Pack

The photographic papers are a great starting point for any celebratory card. I used a DSP for the mat instead of the splatter from the sketch

The Berry Burst bow which is another design from the pack is just gorgeous and really pops out of the page. I fussy cut this using the Paper Snips and tried to recreate with the bow stamps

I used Pool Party and Bermuda Bay inks for the 2 Step Stamping on the bows. I then used the same colours with the Stampin' Blends to create a more 3D image and Smoky Slate around the edges before fussy cutting

I am entering this card to the following challenges:

Welcome to Mitosu Crafts and thank you for stopping by. It's Jay here with a couple of watercolour Thank You cards using Brusho Crystal and the butterfly from Beautiful Day stamp set

We've had a box of Brushos for sometime now but haven't used them for a while, it's great that Stampin' Up! have included them in the new 2018 Spring / Summer Occasions Catalogue!

The Brusho Crystal Colour is great for creating easy, quick and fun backgrounds. It is random but can produce different effects from light washes to intense colours depending on how you apply water or how much

I used the emboss resist technique for the butterfly using Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder and Heat Tool on shimmery card

I applied the crystals lightly and added a lot of water with the Stampin' Spritzer to achieve the light background

Once dried, I used the crystal pigments with Aqua Painters. A few drops of water were mixed to paint on the butterfly and add contrast against the background

To prevent cards from curling when using with a lot of water, you can tape it down on a craft sheet or board. I did not do this for my projects but instead I put them under a box overnight and luckily were ok

I wanted to keep the card fairly simple and adding the sentiment from Floral Phrases was just right to finish the cards

For more card inspirations check out the Design Team's projects on the challenge blogs I am entering these cards to:

Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts in the UK with me Jay Soriano. It's Wednesday which means it's time for a new Paper Craft Crew challenge #PCC276. It's a colour challenge this week and you must use a minimum of 3 colours from the image below

For my DT project today, I used the following Stampin' Up! colours; Cherry Cobbler, Pink Pirouette, Berry Burst & Basic Gray with the new released Heart Happiness Photopolymer Stamp Set from the 2018 Spring / Summer Occasions Catalogue

I white embossed the heart clusters on Basic Gray card stock and coloured with the Dark Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends

Adding a strip of Black card and the shiny Berry Burst Metallic-Edge Ribbon (another new favourite of mine) across the front

The heart topper was stamped in Tuxedo Black and coloured with Light Cherry Cobbler, Light Pink Pirouette and Dark Pink Pirouette then fussy cut. The Heart Happiness stamp does co-ordinate with the Sweet & Sassy Framelits and the Lots To Love Box Framelits if you'd rather die cut the heart designs

I added a few loops of the Gold Metallic Thread underneath the topper before adhering with Stampin' Dimensionals

Finally, the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments set, punched with the co-ordinating Classic Label Punch then snipped

I am entering this card to the following challenges:

Thank you for stopping by and welcome to Mitosu Crafts. It's Jay Soriano here with my entry for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights

The theme is Favourite Sale-A-Bration or Occasions Catalogue Products and I hope you like my project as you can vote for 5 of your favourites back at Kylie's blog ~ http://bit.ly/KyliesHighlightsJanuary2018VoteformeHere

I have also taken inspiration from Global Design Project #GDP121 colour challenge which I am entering my card as well

A current favourite product of mine is the Perennial Birthday. It contains 14 stamps; 6 sentiments and 8 floral designs. There are a couple of multi-occasion sentiments and the floral designs can be used to create backgrounds which I have done for my card today

I white embossed the larger floral design on Whisper White card and coloured with Sweet Sugarplum, Bermuda Bay and Peekaboo Peach using Aqua Painters

I used Tear & Tape to adhere the Gold Ribbons and placed on top the white embossed sentiment on Black card

I stamped the small flowers and leaves in Tuxedo Black then used the same colours but this time with Blender Pens. I then used Paper Snips to fussy cut these small images carefully

I used 2 Silver Mini Sequin Trim to create a heart shape before arranging all the small flowers on top

I stamped the row of hearts from Heart Happiness stamp set in Sweet Sugarplum on scrap paper and adhered on the bottom right before finishing with the Pearl Basic Jewels
