Sara and David were married at Villa Ospo in Jekyll Island on June eighth of this year. Each being architects living in Atlanta, the space where they would hold their intimate wedding ceremony was very important. They fell in love with two villas part of the quaint southern Golden Isles. Their wedding took place on a sunny day with a slight chance of rain which held off for their moving ceremony at Villa Ospo in Jekyll Island. The took time with their vows and I remember the ceremony was the most important part of the day for them and spending time and honoring their loved ones. Sarah was very much a fan of the romantic and classic wedding portraiture that she grew up looking at her parents old wedding albums. I felt like it was an instant connection for us as a lot as we both appreciate a sort or renaissance old school portrait.
I can’t think of a better way to spend a saturday then on a gorgeous plantation, with the sweetest couple, and the most perfect fall day. Everything..and I mean everything, at Vinewood Plantation is set up simply and beautifully and creates the most picture perfect, pleasant experience. The owners literally allow everyone to relax and enjoy the pleasantries of their own home ( which seems to be straight of an Architectural Digest!).. and you could really feel the love for Stephanie + Matt with the people they were surrounded by. We even had Maria from Vinewood hand making her a flower crown on the fly with some left over flowers from her stunning bouquet by Southern Stems. I am pretty sure I have the best job in the world when I get to be a part of something so special.
