Happy New Year, marblelous babes!

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that it’s already 2019. Anyone else feeling really old right now? haha I feel like it was just yesterday that I was shooting this super cute hot pink turtleneck sweater, leopard print scarf, and over the knee boots combo.

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect turtleneck sweater that doesn’t make me look like a camel with my short little neck sticking out. haha #shortgirlproblems Trust me when I say that I’ve tried my fair share of turtleneck sweaters and none of them look good on me. But when I saw this super cute hot pink turtleneck sweater, it was literally love at first sight. I knew I just HAD to get it!

Luckily for me (since I ordered it online and never got to try it on beforehand), the fit and look of this hot pink turtleneck sweater was PERFECT on me. I’ve been gravitating towards a lot of pink hues lately, but they’re usually more on the pastel or lighter side, so this hot pink turtleneck sweater was a nice pop to my fall wardrobe.

Happy Friday, marblelous babes!

Ohmygosh, I STILL can’t believe how quickly Christmas came and went – totally snuck up on me this year!

I’m SO excited to be starting a whole new category on Marblelously Petite – home decor. EEEEK!!!! I can’t even begin to express how excited I am about this. If you know me, I’m obsessed with all things home decor and have been dying to incorporate them into my blog. And since Vic and I recently moved to Dallas in September, I FINALLY have full reign to decorate the whole apartment to my heart’s desire.

I’ve been dreaming of adding a pink couch to my dream home office for a long time now, and when we moved, the first thing I asked Vic is if we could have a pink couch in the living room. He didn’t even think for a second and vetoed it right away. haha Over the course of the next few months, I would bring up the possibility of a pink couch (and sometimes even beg for one) and he still wouldn’t budge.

So I knew I had to rethink my strategy. haha If he won’t agree on a pink couch, mayyyyybe, just maybe he’ll agree on a pink accent chair! He gave me the go ahead and thus my search for a pink accent chair began.

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pink accent chair to brighten up a corner in my bedroom, but if you’ve ever tried searching for a pink accent chair, then you know how crazy expensive those bad boys can be. I don’t know if it’s because they’re so unique and hard to come by, but I have been so discouraged because all the pink accent chairs I came across are either too expensive or just not quite what I’m looking for.

And then it’s as if the heavens opened up and started rejoicing because I found the most gorgeous vintage tufted velvet pink accent chair from DHP Furniture. I immediately fell in love with the gorgeous vintage design, victorian style wooden legs, velvet upholstery, and diamond tufted seat, cushion, and arms. And the best part???? It was SO affordable and well within my budget at only $189!

If the pink accent chair just isn’t quite your style, this accent chair by DHP Furniture also comes in a gorgeous emerald green, navy, grey, and taupe. I love that DHP Furniture has the pink accent chair conveniently available for purchase from Walmart with FREE SHIPPING!!!

Mine literally only took a couple of days to arrive via UPS home delivery. I was so worried that they won’t actually deliver it right to my doorstep since I live on the third floor in an apartment with no elevators or even access to get into the building without a special key.

But UPS actually delivered it right on time, on my doorstep, on the scheduled delivery date! The pink accent chair was packed SO well with layers upon layers of protective plastic wrap and corner box bumpers to prevent from any shipping damage.

The pink accent chair was so easy to assemble, too! Vic helped assemble it, but if he weren’t home, I would have been able to assemble it in 15 minutes by myself. You literally just screw in the legs and slide in the back part of the seat to the base of the seat.

I also decided to get the matching vintage tufted pink ottoman for only $79 to pair with my pink accent chair, which I’ll be sharing in another blog post soon!

If you’re in the market for a pink couch and have gotten the go ahead from your significant other (LUCKY!!!), then I would definitely suggest getting the matching pink vintage tufted sofa sleeper for $402 (this was the pink couch I was DYING to get!) or the pink vintage tufted velvet split back futon for $325.

I decided to spruce up my pink accent chair with a cozy chunky knit throw blanket (currently on sale for $49) and a throw pillow with the cutest fringe and pom pom accents that I scored for only $20.
