Hey, I’m Becca. And I’m committed to keeping it real with you. Five years ago I gave breastfeeding a try…and I was brought to tears with pain and frustration.

My journey with breastfeeding, while yes, vulnerable and raw, is a message I wanted to share with you. Why? Because we’re all moms. We all believe fed is best. We all are here for our baby’s healthy development and our best maternal health.

Let’s connect on Instagram or Facebook to share our stories and encourage one another.

The benefits of sleep training are endless! However, not everyone is ready to make change in baby's sleep. Change is hard, and especially for a few specific people in your child's life.

In this episode Becca is walking you through the people who you really need to prepare before beginning your sleep training journey! Both Grandparents and Siblings are wonderful cheerleaders for your child, but often can cause some woes in sleep training methods.

Learn practical strategies on how to prepare Grandma & Grandpa (or Aunts & Uncles!) for sleep training. We want them on our side, but it's best to have your plan outlined in detail so they can easily participate!!

For your older kiddos, let's make sure they are also full read-in on what's about to happen. Let them know sleep training is happening, and support their individual emotions through the process too.

*I love the Dohm Sound Machine for an extra layer of "noise" between Baby & Sibling!*

Through the years I’ve been honored to work with many Preemie & NICU parents. Today on the Podcast I’m so grateful to chat with Ashlee Petrelli, who is a former client and mom to 2 preemie babies (Naomi, 3.5 yo & Dean, 4 months/2 months adjusted).

Ashlee shares about her experience in the NICU, how you can understand what other moms are going through, and encouragement for the Moms who feel guilt over not being able to have that skin-to-skin contact they dream about….she leaves me speechless and I’m so looking forward to having you listen in!

Having an early riser can seem like just a part of being a parent, but there does come a point when 10 hours just isn’t enough! I’m always aiming for a minimum of 11, maximum of 12 hours of night time sleep for your baby. On today’s episode I’m sharing my strategies for solving early morning wakes, as well as giving concrete examples and stories from my experience dealing with them!

Thank you to Emily Webb who opens up and shares about her experience using Baby Sleep E-Coaching with her little one! Would you like to share your story? It’s easy! Open ‘Voice Memos’ on your phone, give a 1-2 minute explanation of the before & after transformation...and submit it HERE! It may just be featured on an upcoming episode!

Is your toddler or preschooler afraid of going to bed? Asking you to stay after saying goodnight? Making up stories about monsters in the room? Mild fears around bedtime is a common issue I work with for children ages 2.5 years and up. To tackle the ROOT of the fear, I’m sharing my strategies on how we can pour attention and praise over your child during the bedtime routine, and offer comforts to help ease their tensions when it’s time say goodnight.

Dealing with SEVERE fears? >>These tips might help, but I’d suggest finding a local family counselor to help you and your family sort through your child’s anxieties and stressors.

With the Rock N Play recall this year, families are now more than ever aware of all the PRODUCTS available for baby, and looking for the best alternatives to the RNP. But what if I were to tell you the best place for baby to “hang out” is actually on the floor…not in a swing? That’s exactly what Jennifer Bernard, Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Baby Begin LLC is all about!! Getting baby OUT of the containers and onto exploring the world around them…on the floor!

By far, this has been my favorite podcast guest to host! Jennifer is a wealth of knowledge and I know you’ll learn so much from her.

Second to sleep, I hear all the questions about when to fit in meals for baby! I get it! Between two naps and bottles or nursing, when are we supposed to do actual FOOD!!!

On today’s podcast I have Edwena of My Little Eater (registered dietician) sharing tips and strategies for feeding baby…as well as insight in WHEN we should begin solids anyways! And don’t worry, we talk all about dropping the bedtime feed and relying on food for NOURISHMENT not for sleep!

As of today, you can also grab a Baby Feeding Guide by Edwena in the Sleep E-Coaching for 6-16 Months Program! Talk about confidence in sleep AND feeding!

I recently had a mom ask, “My 1 year old wakes up multiple times a night to nurse. Is that normal?”

My response? OUR CULTURE says it’s normal. But that’s not what we should be considering normal.

Our culture says:

-Coffee first

-Rock them, they’re only little once.

-It’s a phase, one day they’ll sleep.

-I’m tired as a mother.

A well rested Mom says:

-I can enjoy my child more.

-My baby is happier and thriving.

-I’ll actually remember this time of parenting, instead of surviving.

-I’m a happier mom becasue we sleep.

Not only is this real, you can hear a REAL story from Ana at the end of this episode.
