Westboro beach, has me dreaming of warmer weather, summer nights and the beginning of wedding season. What a beautiful location for an engagement shoot, for these two. It’s seldom you drive by this beach & its not packed with people sunbathing & enjoying the heat. We were lucky to have the beach to ourselves and capture a fun & exciting shoot.
This awesome couple ties the knot in August at the Chateau Laurier and I’m looking forward to meeting all their friends & family.
What a perfect day Sheila & Craig had, for their stunning backyard wedding & OAG reception. Inviting some of their closest friends & family, to celebrate their gorgeous wedding day, was all they wanted. Their backyard, made for a perfect setting for the ceremony & cocktail hour. Friends and family gathered around the pool area, while waiting for the ceremony to begin. The weather was perfect & so was the ceremony.
The reception followed at the new Jackson Restaurant, at the OAG https://oaggao.ca Wow what a stunning venue inside & out. Extremely high ceilings, art pieces filling the walls, gorgeous table settings, great staff & a modern feel. It made for a great place for their guest to eat and enjoy the evening. If you’re looking for a downtown venue, I strongly suggest checking it out. Several outdoor locations surrounding the area, for photo opportunities & the inside is amazing as well https://www.jacksonottawa.com
Congratulations to the couple, on their beautiful wedding day
This beautiful couple got married at The Grand Hotel in Carleton Place. The wedding day was so special to so many people, especially the grooms two young daughters. It was very important to the couple, to include the girls as much as possible. Getting ready in the bridal suite with their new step mother, made the girls feel like princesses. So many sweet moments & details were captured during this time.
The Grand Hotel, has this classic feel. The entrance to the hotel with it’s gorgeous staircase, was a perfect spot for their First Look. Followed by walking around and finding so many hidden gems, near by. The Smith & Barrel Pub & Eatery, was a cool spot to capture some fun photos at the bar. The Black & White images give the photos a timeless feel, which I LOVE!!!! The couple wanted to capture all their photos, prior to their ceremony so they could get back and enjoy their guests, during cocktail hour.
Please see the list below, of great vendors, who made this day possible.
Wishing this couple & sweet family all the best in their journey
Now this is what I call, a beautiful love story. I love hearing about couples stories, especially with such a history.
Patricia & Glenn went to the same grade school, Junior high & high school. They hung out & were neighbourhood friends, but never hung out during school hours-lol. Glenn mentioned “We had an attraction to each other then, but never really pursued it more than kissing” TOO CUTE!!! As time went on & as most of us do, they drifted apart, for 24 YEARS!!! That’s an extremely long time, considering they grew up together. Glenn reached out to Patricia on good old Facebook & the rest is history. They’ve been together now, for almost 10 years & next month they will “Tie The Knot”, at Strathmere.
Congratulations Glenn & Patricia on your extremely sweet love story, engagement & upcoming wedding date.
