Prediction: Stock Market Crash
What I Got Right: TheFebruary, 2018 selloff was preceded by accelerated purchases of cryptocurrencies. I predict the market will have a panicked selloff of tech shares, possibly with a week or two, followed an even more significant global drop by about March.* While there will be occasional upturns, it looks like a year of high highs and low lows…but more on the side of losses than gains. It will be an historic year of firsts in many ways, especially when it comes to politics, the economy, and the environment. The next stock market downturn will be the second-to-final nail in the coffin of Trump’s so-called Presidency, bringing his ratings as low as the 20s. In an ironic tribute to the 1920s!
What I Missed: I didn’t make the connection between cryptocurrencies and the crash, even though I wrote about these two topics in subsequent paragraphs. I’m going to start paying more attention to my segues! Also, I saw more than one date for the crash. Does that mean another major crash is on the way? Stay tuned for more…
Prediction: Rise of Global Currency
January 11, 2016 Blog Post
What I Got Right: The rise of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in 2017.
7:24 pm PST: Thanks for your patience and for checking in while I was recovering from a fourth foot surgery I had in December. I am mostly healed now, and ready to run…with a marathon of blog posts. Because I would never run in real life, unless I was running FOR my life. While I have no athletic abilities whatsoever, I do like to make sports predictions.
I announced some of these Oscar Predictions 2018 on the 1-26-18 episode of our radio show, along with a live broadcast of Eagles win predictions I made with Astrologer Jessica Adams, over a week before the Super Bowl. The Eagles win prediction was reiterated on our 2-2-18 episode with Psychic Medium Lyndsey Paul. Now let’s see what’s coming up for the Oscars…
I am predicting this to be a breakout year with heightened inclusiveness for women, minorities, and the LGBTQ community. For perhaps the first time in Oscar history, personal character, and not just character portrayals, will be a requirement for being able to stay in the race. I am also predicting that the films with the most nominations (The Shape of Water with 13 and Dunkirk with 8) will only achieve wins in visual and audio-related technical categories.
Perhaps thanks to Neptune in Pisces, sci-fi, fantasy, and horror are being taken more seriously in film. The film nominated in most categories is about a woman who falls in love with a sea creature-very Neptunian, but also Uranian in its spirit of inclusiveness and appreciation of unusual beauty.
With Uranus in Aries, we are at a time of new beginnings when it comes to diversity, and I predict that will be reflected in the outcome of some of this year’s Oscar categories. Expect this year’s Academy Awards to be unusual, community-oriented, and a platform for multiple humanitarian causes. I expect a speech at the awards that will highlight injustices such as immigrant deportations in the US. I know a tie isn’t typical, but this year I am predicting the unconventional: a tie for one of the less notable categories, resulting in a shared award for two separate productions. Expect the unexpected when it comes to the cinematography category–that was the hardest category for me to read, as I kept seeing multiple winners.
Finally, I had a vision of clips being shown on a screen at the awards ceremony from 2016, rather than 2017. It’s possible someone does this as a mistake, or perhaps it is a prank. I also see this incident as something unusual from the 2016 Academy Awards that will happen again this year.
Prediction: Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell win for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor for their significant contribution to a talented ensemble in Three Billboards.
Oscar Predictions 2018
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
Greta Gerwig, Lady Bird
I am predicting an upset for the category of Best Director.
Director Greta Gerwig on the set of LadyBird.
I predict that there will be sexual harassment allegations that prevent Gary Oldman from winning, throwing the award to another deserving actor in this category–but one who wouldn’t have won if it hasn’t been for this upcoming scandal.
I saw the name Daniel when I looked at this category, and I realise Daniel Day-Lewis is also in the running. But I have a feeling that the Phantom Thread film Day-Lewis starred in will either 1) will be formally disqualified due to not following either SAG or Academy rules, or 2) be portrayed in the news as socially and fiscally irresponsible due to a financial scandal that may involve unequal pay. This press coverage would taint the production’s reputation and hurt Day-Lewis’ chance of winning.
Best Supporting Actress
Best Supporting Actor
Gary Oldman nearly takes a win in the Best Actor category for a believable performance as Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour, but I believe his nomination could be disrupted by sexual harassment allegations. In that case, the Best Actor Oscar would go to…
…a predicted upset in the Best Actor category, with accolades for Daniel Kayuuya’s riveting performance in Get Out.
Blade Runner 2049
This was one of the most difficult categories for me to read. I kept seeing more than one film. Expect some confusion, or even a small controversy, to unfold in the Cinematography category.
Best Adapted Screenplay
Call Me By Your Name
Best Original Screenplay
I predict Allison Janney will take home the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her deeply involved portrayal of Tonya Harding’s mother in I, Tonya.
However, this category could end up being a tie between Martin McDonagh’sThree Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Jordan Peele’s Get Out.
I predict Best Original Screenplay to be the most competitive Oscar category this year. Perhaps an uneven number of voters was planned on to avoid a tie, but I’m seeing one Academy member being unable to vote due to illness, leaving this tightly contested category with either a tie or a near-tie.
Best Costume Design
Best Film Editing
Best Hair and Makeup
Jordan Peele, writer/director of hit comedy thriller with a social message, Get Out. I predict Get Out will ultimately be the winner for Best Original Screenplay–but I also see a near-tie and possibly recount in this category, so there could be an upset to the upset.
Best Production Design
The Shape of Water
The Shape of Water
“Remember Me”, Coco
I am predicting The Shape of Water for Best Production Design and Best Score. I see a surprise with this film, something related to a retroactive award. It is possible there will be a miscount and Shape of Water will be awarded a win for another category, but after the Oscars ceremony has taken place.
War for the Planet of the Apes
Close 2nd: Blade Runner 2049
I predict Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, and Film Editing awards will go to Dunkirk.
Best Animated Feature
Despite a predicted win for Coco, kudos and long-term acclaim will be given to Loving Vincent for being the world’s first sully painted feature film.
Best Documentary Feature
I predict Coco wins for Best Song (“Remember Me”) and Best Animated Feature.
Best Foreign Language Film
A Fantastic Woman
Best Animated Short
Best Documentary Short
Edith + Eddie
While I’m predicting Edith + Eddie to win in this category, I believe Heaven is a Traffic Jam on the 405 will be the documentary short from last year that becomes a cult classic of tomorrow.
Best Live Action Short
Looking forward to watching the Oscars with all of you on March 4th!
Stay tuned for more predictions…

Q. Will the media continue to blame Millennials for the world’s problems?
In retrospect, Millennials will be defined as the most scapegoated generation to date. History will look upon Millenials and Generation Y as having valued empathy and compassion above money and power. Of course, there are many of you reading this who were not born in those generations but who practise compassion regularly. What I am predicting is that the younger generations of today will be regarded in future times as having brought about a movement to reawaken the power of empathy.
It will also become less popular to refer to generations with blanketed, one-note names. Future generations will be named in terms that allow for the dynamic variance of what a generation collectively inspires in their time.
Q. Will the #MeToo conversation continue in 2018?
The #MeToo movement continues in 2018, and will expand to include include other forms of abuse.
Elle, the #MeToo movement has only just begun.
The conversation and subsequent accusations will branch out into other forms of violent recollections in 2018. This expanded discussion will grow to include emotional, verbal, and, eventually, child abuse. More stories about serial domestic violence will be published–including detailed articles about Donald Trump (but more on Trump 2018 Predictions in a future post). Most of those speaking out in the 2018 #MeToo movement will be women, but people of other genders will also share stories of overcoming violence.
By the way, congratulations to Radio Co-Host Jordan Musen, “Everybody’s Soulmate” and Student of the Psychic Arts, who correctly predicted the Time Magazine Person of the Year would be the #MeToo movement.
Q. What are some fashion trends for 2018?
Robot visits the U.N.
Gigi, I see dark hair in style for the fall and winter in 2018 fashion, especially black hair or dark brown hair with copper streaks. Natural hair accented by scarves, berets, and easy-to-maintain, tightly braided or brushed-out styles, will represent a period of spending less time on outer appearances and investing more time on developing one’s inner life. No, this won’t be the case for everyone-but I predict this increasingly inward focus will become a meaningful trend for many.
Online shopping will include layers of clothing that can be dragged and dropped onto a “model” who matches your own measurements.
Speaking of models, believe it or not, acne and tattoos of scars (especially replicas of scars endured by historical figures) will come into style. The rise of robots will contribute to this rise in an appreciation of imperfections. However, I’m predicting the acne and tattoo scarification trends will come about later than 2018, possibly around 2020-2024.
Thanks for your patience as I work on predictions for 2018, which will be published sometime close to New Year’s. I am also finishing up a “Year in Review” post, which will be a look back on 2017 news predictions. Meanwhile, please submit your questions for 2018 below or on Twitter @kyraoser.

US News Predictions
Q. Media sources have revealed 2016 Facebook ads were purchased by Russian sources in support of Trump, Stein, and Sanders. Which of those campaigns knew about this deception?
A. Trump’s campaign was aware that Russian operatives would be financially supporting an underhanded installation of his regime. I see Trump looking at a chalkboard where someone is explaining the plan to him as if he and his “team” (family) are about to go onto the football field and win a game. Putin’s goal was, and still is, to acquire control over the most nuclear arsenals in the world so he can hold the globe hostage with a threat of annihilation and use his increased power to manipulate global events to his advantage. The reason US elections were the first major ones targeted by Russia is that the US is the only nation that holds almost the same amount of nuclear weapons as Russia. I say targeted first, but I’ve had visions that the UK was also targeted in its Brexit elections. Some of the Brexit Effect was achieved by swaying of public opinion via social media trolling and online advertising. Division weakens. It makes strategic sense to to encourage the division of one of the US’s closest allies while also sowing discord and unrest in the US in order to effectively overtake both regions. UK officials are currently distracted enough by Brexit that they don’t have the time to get as involved in working with the US on preventing further election interference as they otherwise would have been able to do. If Russia’s cyberattacks had been thwarted before the fall of 2016, Clinton would be US President, the UK wouldn’t be preparing to separate from the EU, and we’d all be making plans for the holidays instead of filling in gaps for leaders who aren’t doing their jobs.
One of the most poignant images we’ll see in near future photography are of unelected people working with local officials to solve global crises together when national leaders fail to follow through on their elected responsibilities. This isn’t true of every leader in every nation, and it’s probably not true of most. Yet when too many escape accountability, large groups of people will naturally fill in the gaps to make up for what’s lacking in leadership.
The Dalai Lama will continue to provide guidance to individuals and political officials in matters of tolerance and the maintenance of peace.
I believe we will look back and define the greatest leaders of 2017-2018 as the people, a global community working together to improve the world in greater numbers than ever before. We will one day see our globe as one nation. And isn’t it? Who’s to decide the meaning of the words “nation” and “nationality”? Borders and waters don’t define who we are or what we mean to each other.
Spiritual leaders such as Pope Francis will attempt to fill in the blanks left empty by unavailable politicians worldwide, particularly in his advocacy of economic and healthcare equality.
Other politicians, such as the shadow leaders I’ve spoken about before, will continue to fill in the gaps, too. In the US, some of these political figures will include Clinton, Sanders, Warren, Franken, Harris, Mayor Yulín Cruz of San Juan, Governer Jerry Brown of CA, and many others. Religious leaders, including the Dalai Lama and Pope Francis, will continue to offer their moral conscience as a substitute for political leaders guided by greed over good.
I believe it will be revealed that Stein’s campaign was in contact with Russian officials in 2016 in a way that suggests support and encouragement was offered by a Russian official who acted a go-between. It looks like messages from this Russian official in 2016 were given to him by the Russian government and relayed to Stein’s campaign manager instead of directly to the candidate herself. In other words, Stein had some knowledge of being helped, but it looks like she chose to pretend to ignore that information because the result was working in her favour. Stein gained so little from the transaction, and I believe she will regret not having gone to the press and to Clinton’s campaign to announce what she knew about Russian interference. If Stein had dropped out sooner, there just would have been more Russian interference in online transmissions of results and in voting locations that the election still could have been slightly tipped in Trump’s favour. However, without Stein, the results would look all the more suspicious.
Sanders and Clinton were targeted by Russian sources because they were perceived to be the only real threats to a Trump win: Sanders in the primaries and Clinton in the general elections. I believe there were many anti-Clinton, and not just pro-Trump ads, being published by Russian sources to social media in the general elections. However, I don’t see any involvement by either the Sanders or Clinton campaign in furthering Russian interference. It was, after all, Sanders and Clinton who were both targeted.
This propaganda used to sway the elections in a particular candidate’s favour will someday be looked upon as a military strategy used to wage war. Unfortunately, it’s worked so far. But it won’t work forever.
Q. What will be trending on future Twitter feeds?
A. Expect to see a significant increase in the number of #Resign tweets
More #PrivacyRights will be demanded, partly interaction to an increase in threats and assaults against celebrities.
#CitizensAreCitizens: Trump tries but fails to find a way to make it difficult for citizens living in Puerto Rico to relocate to mainland US. I see private citizens willingly opening their homes to host families from Puerto Rico while recovering hurricane survivors search for work and homes.
#ANationBroughtToItsKnees (or a similar hashtag) will be trending when more and more people kneel as protests during the US national anthem.
#UNHelp trends as UN pledges to intervene in potential genocide against the people of North Korea who have essentially been kidnapped and held hostage by one dictator and threatened with nuclear assault by another. With nowhere to escape, their outlook will seem grim.
I see #JimmyCarter in the news soon, being honoured for his accomplishments and for a soon-to-be-revealed act of heroism for which he would have rather remained anonymous due to his quality of humility.
#StepDownMcConnell and #StepDownRyan TBT (to be trending): This movement will relate to a media and FBI uncovering of scandals related to Ryan and McConnell’s participation in criminal activities tied to the 2016 elections.
#USisUs The following question will likely be posited in near-future media: why do people refer to the US as “America” when the US is only part of North America?
#RecoverAmerica: I predict there will be a discussion of the combined effects of alcohol and firearms and another debate about pharmaceutical prescription medications and their possible impact on the increased use of firearms. This conversation will be sparked at least in part by the recent #LasVegas mass murder shooting of unprecedented proportions.
Global News from the Future: Fast-Forward to a Month from Now…
Q. What do you see coming up soon in news around the world this month?
A. Take a trip to a time weeks from today with the vehicle of psychic channeling. The following visions relate to near-future news that’s likely to happen within about a month from now, or sometime close to that period.
I had a very clear vision of 3 silver missiles in North Korea, sat side-by side in a casing covered inside and underneath with shiny green fabric, ready to launch. I see an escalation of threats toward the Pacific Rim coming from North Korea and Trump about 2-3 weeks from now. I picture the words “Pacific Rim” showing up repeatedly on TV news tickers around this time.
I hear and feel a thud on the ground soon, like an earthquake or sonic boom. I see a vision of plate tectonics shifting. The numbers 6.3, or something around that, will be mentioned in the news as important data related to the impact. It’s like a Richter scale measurement, but there’s more going on beneath the surface than an earthquake.
I predict another major storm in Florida, although it looks like even more significant damage is averted due to previous structural and resource-oriented preparation from Hurricane Irma.
I envision a movement for prisoners in the US to be granted the right to vote. Since minorities and financially disadvantaged individuals are already disproportionately imprisoned, losing the right to vote upon imprisonment further suppresses the power of minorities and the underprivileged, thus perpetuating a cycle of violence and injustice.
A little further into the future, possibly in the next 2-3 months, I see a coordinated prison uprising highlighting inhumane living conditions. The uprising will gain international attention and the US may be charged with human rights violations, helping prison reform to be more expedited than it would have been otherwise. I see Michael Moore bringing attention to the need for prison, school, hospital, and government accountability and oversight over the next few years, particularly in what looks like a future documentary sequel that expands on his Norway prison segment from Where to Invade Next.
News from the Future in Predictive Dreams
Q. You wrote about climate change dreams in another post. Have you have any other dreams about climate change that could be predictions? Also, how do you know if a dream is a prediction or something else?
A. In recent years, my dreams about flooding, being swept up in water, various regions being overtaken by water, and global conflict have increased in frequency and intensity. Contrary to what you might expect, though, most of these dreams end well. As I interpret the meaning of my own dreams and decide what’s helpful to share with you, I try to separate out my personal details as much as possible to decipher the part of the dream that’s predictive, has a universal meaning, or both.
When it feels as real as being awake, multiple physical senses are involved (such as touch/smell or sound/taste), most of the details are not related to your personal life, and the dream takes place toward the middle of your sleep cycle, chances are, there are some predictive..

US Healthcare Predictions
Q. I am concerned with the ACA and the status of healthcare in the US…Will the Republicans pass their plan or does single payer have a chance?
Happy Birthday to all Virgos!
Libra Sun conjuncts Venus in Libra this October, which can be positive for business partnerships and romance.
We are still in the shadow of Sun in health-oriented Virgo, but communications planet Mercury stays in Virgo until September 29th, continuing to make health a featured topic of debates and discussions throughout this week. Combative Mars remains in Virgo until October 22nd, so expect healthcare conflicts, debates, rallies, and protests to continue at least through October. Mercury enters Scorpio October 17th and Sun moves into Scorpio October 21st, generating lively TV debates and protests on the topics of reproductive healthcare, Planned Parenthood, abortion rights, and surgical procedures. I see the ACA being gradually transformed rather than repealed.
Venus enters Libra conjunct Sun October 14th. Expect stories, commercials, and short TV documentaries and news stories about couples in the US who were either torn apart or brought closer together because of healthcare issues in October and November. On November 5th, Mercury enters Sagittarius, followed by Sun in Sagittarius November 21st, which also conjuncts Venus in Sagittarius December 1st. All this Sagittarius energy means a more open, honest debate about healthcare will be able to take place in the face of so much Jupiterian energy, including televised speeches from professors who also practise as physicians.
Deception does not last long in the midst of multiple Sagittarian and Scorpion placements. The Scorpio/Sagittarius duo amidst a Libran Venus placement can function in partnership like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s characters, detective Sherlock Holmes and research assistant Dr. Watson, who continue to seek the truth behind every mystery until it’s found. Additionally, Dr. Watson is a Virgoan-type character in that he demonstrates being service-oriented in three ways: being a doctor, having served in the military, and helping Sherlock as his biographer and assistant.
As a side note to my side note about Sherlock Holmes, an astrological alliance of Mars (Scorpio) and Jupiter (Sagittarius) means any duplicitousness of the Trump regime and those who brought it to power will be more than revealed by October and November, as additional facts about criminal activities will be revealed. This includes bribery, extortion, and thinly veiled death threats made to Republican Senators who wavered or refused to vote along party lines. The truth will come out in the end.
When Mars enters Scorpio on December 9th during Sun in Sagittarius, expect a time of amplified international conflict amidst an uncovering of humanitarian crises of far-reaching proportions in North Korea, Syria, China, and the US. More on war predictions below.
The Archer aims her arrow as October brings a romantic month, especially for air signs, Librans, water signs, Scorpios, those who have strong 7th house aspects in their chart, and those who love those who have these signs and houses.
I also foresee a multi-pronged legal enquiry questioning the legitimacy of this Presidency-not just from the FBI, but from multiple states suing the President, then corporations, then individuals. Each lawsuit claims Trump is not the legitimate holder of office and challenges his position. His administration will eventually face unrelenting pressure to either step down or face the consequences. Once it has been proven by Senate hearings, a court of law, and unrelenting investigative reporting that the person impersonating the President is not actually the President, this complicated conflict throws all of 2017’s US executive orders into question.
The good news for those of you who support single payer healthcare in the US is that it’s moving in that direction, the momentum is unstoppable, and it’s only a matter of time before it happens. The difficult news is that it will happen incrementally, it could take 3-4 years to go into effect, and it’s not happening quickly enough for many who need unlimited access right away. But it will happen, state by state.
Overall, a global movement is transforming much of our world from a longstanding tradition of exclusivity into an era of Aquarian and Piscean inclusivity, and the expansion of social programmes fits into this astrological trend.
Corine, thank you for asking about History’s Mysteries Solved! We’ve discussed it a little on the radio, but soon there will be upcoming blog posts dedicated to solving mysteries with psychic channeling. Stay tuned for more details!
War of the Walls Predictions
Q. Will the wall be built?…Will the Republican Party do away with Social Security and Medicare?
Game of Thrones Predictions Coming Soon! *Spoilers*
When you saw the heading “War of the Walls”, perhaps you thought I was going to make Game of Thrones predictions for the next season. Well, of course I am! But not today. I’ll be publishing GOT predictions in future posts.
As for the proposed wall on the US/México border that you’re asking about, I see small sections being built as a symbolic gesture so Trump has evidence it’s being worked on. But I do not see the plan being completed, and I do not see a full wall. In fact, it falls quite short of what was promised. After Trump leaves office, I see the project being abandoned and a partial fence he’s left behind being torn down and vandalised. Rotting areas will someday be replaced with gardens surrounding pathways that feature memorial stones commemorating children who died attempting to cross the border. History will look back on this “wall” project as an enormous waste of money spent in an effort to score political points during a time when multiple cities were recovering from natural disasters but weren’t given sufficient aid to recover in a safe or timely manner.
Maria, I believe that many members of the Republican Party will repeatedly attempt to do away with Social Security and Medicare. I see some chipping away at these programmes, and the more politicians can get away with reducing one programme, the more leverage they will have to reduce another programme by claiming previous cutbacks were “successful”, with questionable evidence. I don’t see Medicare being eliminated, but I do have visions of reductions, renaming, and rebranding prior to a period of expansion. Social Security looks like it will have an attached programme, like a subsidiary, which could be implemented in about 3-5 years’ time. I see this programme in the image of a copper box shaped like a book that looks like it’s locked onto the current Social Security system. At some point, Medicare will be expanded, but not before it endures some temporary setbacks and cuts.
As for your question about recession, I’ve mentioned an October stock market crash in previous predictions and publications, but I will add more details in a future post about Economy Predictions.
Q. You mentioned World War III in other posts. Is this still going to happen?
Should billions of years of history & billions of lives be hinged on the whims of an unhinged madman? It’s a surreal experience to encounter the two greatest threats to our long legacy of mankind in the same year, especially if, like me, you finally got your spice rack alphabetised and wanted some time to enjoy it. But here we are, with an increase in climate change and the possibility of nuclear war. What will happen?
Long-term priorities and goals will become trendy again, not only as a reaction against the mindfulness movement, but also as a means of sustaining our existence. There’s a time to be mindful and a time for survival. Eventually, we will find some time in each day for both, and hopefully more of the former than the latter.
Ironic that I have a typo in this tweet.
In 1999, I was on a lunch break between psychic readings at a tiny metaphysical bookstore that would later be torn down and eventually replaced with a pot shoppe. Another psychic approached me in the Money Meditation and Manifestation section while Enya’s Orinoco Flow played for the third time that shift. She asked what I saw far into the future, a Top 10 question for the turn of the millennia. “What happens 20 years from now?” she asked excitedly. “No, you’re not going to like what I see.” “Tell me!” she insisted. “Okay.” I didn’t want to say it, but it’s exactly what I saw. “World War III and mass suicides.” After that, she just stuck to questions about her love life.
I forgot about that conversation for a while, at least until recently when it made more sense. I had told her and another psychic at the shoppe not to be worry or be frightened 20 years from 1999, because many of us would make it through the war. That despite the conflict, it would be followed by a long age of peace, environmental improvements, and humanitarianism like we’d never seen before.
I don’t know what I meant by mass suicide, although I suspect it at least partly has something to do with climate change. As for war, I mentioned a global war involving Korea, Japan and the US in this year’s annual predictions post and on our show, and I think that’s what’s happening now. The prediction we talked about a couple of times in 2016 was a missile hitting Japan. It looked somewhere central, as if it aimed for Tokyo but missed. I still see what I’ve shared about previous dreams I had the morning after the 2016 elections, which included military planes flying over the West coast and war heads in a cabinet. It was gruesome and disturbing. What happens next will change the world, but it won’t be the end of the world. It won’t be like anything we’ve seen before, either.
In today’s News of the Future, I’ll be making short-term and long-term Trump Predictions and answering some of your questions about what’s to become of the Republican Party and the future of the United States.
Thank you for submitting your questions and comments. If I didn’t get to yours, it most likely means the answer wasn’t clear. I’m looking forward to hearing more of your insights.
A Special Thank You
I’d like to thank Feedspot for voting this as a Top 100 Psychic Blog.
US Trump Predictions
Q. Will Donald Trump be convicted of crimes related to colluding with the Russian government to throw the 2016 US elections in his favour?
Once it has been proven beyond any reasonable doubt that Donald Trump’s campaign stole the 2016 elections, I see Donald Trump being tried after he is ousted from office. You will notice him leaving the US as much as possible to avoid or delay any charges, along with other members of the Trump Dynasty (aka Ivanka and Jared). Donald Trump is not the only one who will be tried. You can check out my previous post if you’re interested in more details on charges of treason.
Q. If Trump wasn’t the true winner of the election (as you’ve predicted before), then why does most of the press act like he was?
We will continue to witness a schizophrenic press. There are reporters and then there are journalists. Reporters will continue to publish articles discussing Trump’s next steps as “President”, as we witnessed today with his visit to the UN. But true journalists will insist that something isn’t right, investigating nearly ceaselessly and increasingly questioning his right to hold office. Donald Trump is not the legitimate holder of the office of President of the United States, and never was. The truth will come out in the end, and it won’t be long before we’ll have evidence of what really happened when the 2016 elections were stolen from its rightful winner.
Q. I’ve been a devout conservative all my life, and so has most of my family for the last three generations. My grandfather fought in World War II and ran for local and state offices as a Republican. I think he would be shocked to hear the rhetoric of some of the Republican politicians in power today. I miss the values that our party used to stand for. I honestly don’t know how I will vote in the future, and if I will join another party or wait it out and see if things get better. What do you predict will happen to the future of the Republican party? Will it ever be the same again?
A. No, it won’t be the same again, but another organisation will take the place of what once was. That organisation will eventually develop into a political party that shares many of the same economic values of the Republican Party of decades ago. This isn’t only a Republican issue. Intraparty division is occurring concurrently in both major US parties. The Democratic and Republican parties have developed extreme factions in reaction to acute societal problems. How we seek to overcome those obstacles may differ, but many of our dilemmas are almost identical.
But back to your question about the Republican Party. Once these changes take place and a nostalgic party that has more similarities to the Republican economic aspirations of another era has arisen by way of a rebranded Libertarian Party, we will be living in another time period. Even words take on a new meaning when spoken through the lens of a future time, and so will political parties. Nostalgia is a necessary function that allows us to continually learn from history, but change is inevitable as well. If you’ve heard the phrase “you can never go home again”, that applies here.
What happened in the first place? Some future historians will note the irony of the Republican Party (which once stood for liberty) being hijacked by aspiring authoritarians and, eventually, outright fascists. The objectives of fascism are the opposite of libertarianism. Fascists want to control a population, while libertarians advocate self-determination.
As of now, a few have risen to power primarily by 1) brainwashing financially and emotionally vulnerable religious followers and 2) conspiring to throw a major election. But, as I mentioned above, that election will be thrown into doubt before the week is out, and the end of the Trump regime is near.
Q. Will the fascists, Nazis, and KKK win?
A. No, not in the long run. But it will be necessary to keep fighting, in order to reduce the frequency and intensity of violent humanitarian crises perpetuated by hate groups and totalitarian governments.
Diagnostic Trump Predictions
Q. Kyra, does Trump have an undiagnosed physical or mental illness or is this just his personality?
Trump “I Don’t Care One Bit Yet I Completely Need Your Approval So I’m Perpetually Conflicted” Face
Trump “Listen to Me I Have All the Answers and I Don’t Know How the Earth Even Turned Before I Existed” Face
A. It might be quicker to tell you which categories he does NOT qualify for than to list the ones that do.*** Instead of giving you my opinion about what Trump’s mental diagnoses would be, I am going to predict what I think psychological experts will diagnose him with in future online and print publications once he’s left office.
Beth, I don’t want to give you or anyone else vertigo while scrolling through the list, so I will try to keep it as brief as this Presidency is likely to be.
Trump “Don Mess With Me” Face
Caution: Please wear blue-light blocking glasses or adjust the brightness of your computer screen to a lower setting if you are prone to motion sickness. Reading of the following assessment has been known to induce: migraine headaches, ocular migraines, nausea, and/or residual dizziness. Moderate to severe reactions, including Trump news-related anxiety, episodic Post-Trump-Stress-Disorder, and chronic avoidance of Google News, have been known to occur. Please consult with your physician before proceeding.
Trump “We’re Not Gonna Let Them Get Away With This, Are We? Join Me On an Exciting Religious Cruise, I Mean Cruz-sade, I Mean Crusade That Will Help Me Increase My Ratings. Plus We Can Wear Matching Hats!” Face
Trump “This is What Other People Look Like When They Feel Compassion So I’m Gonna Mimic it for Personal Gain” Face
In future years, there will be much speculation as to the personality traits and disorders that may have contributed to Trump’s demise. How much of his behaviour is choice, how much is fate? Can he control his actions? Let’s discuss.
I believe Trump suffers from multiple personality disorders. He also has talents. This can be a dangerous combination. For instance, if he was not so talented at marketing, he would not have gained an audience and following which he has used to wield a distorted, destructive worldview.
Antisocial Trump Predictions
As for specific disorders, I predict it will be concluded by future psychology experts that Trump has multiple traits of Antisocial Personality Disorder, in that he doesn’t think the law applies to him, is open to committing crimes when the opportunity arises and doesn’t worry about being caught, does not experience remorse or guilt when his actions negatively affect someone else, lacks a conscience, and seems incapable of empathy. He does have an ability to mimic others’ facial expressions (see surrounding photos of melodramatic facial expressions intended to evoke a specific emotional response) in order to manipulate, deceive, and gain a desired result. But the actual emotions of an antisocial individual are shallow and limited. It’s challenging for those suffering from sociopathy to see from someone else’s point of view. Because of their fixed beliefs and a perception of superiority, it’s particularly difficult to treat someone with this illness. They either believe they’ve already learned everything there is to know, or only enter into therapy to manipulate the practitioner for personal gain.
Trump “Pretending to Be (Fill in the Blank) Dictator from (Fill in the Blank) Nation” Face
Trump “I’m a Straight Talker I’m Telling You Like it Is. Honest!” Face
Narcissistic Trump Predictions
As you’ve probably already suspected, Trump suffers from Narcissistic Personality Disorder, which includes delusions of grandeur and superiority. Would I go so far as to say he’s he a solipsist? I don’t think he is delusional enough to believe the entire world is actually an extension of himself, but I do think he’s in the habit of behaving as if others exist only to make his existence better. So if someone can do something helpful for him, you could be his “Best Friend” (if only for a day).
Trump “I’m About to Blame Something on Hillary or Obama” Face
Borderline Trump Predictions
Which brings us to the next personality disorder: Borderline Personality Disorder. Those with borderline traits have weak ego strength and their confidence can plummet with the slightest sign of rejection. They rely on frequent approval to boost a fragile ego, so winning and gaining approval are essential emotional goals for those with borderline traits. If you’ve heard of the term “walking on eggshells”, that applies to those in a relationship with a borderline personality disorder sufferer. A person with borderline traits tends to put someone up on a pedestal and “hero worship” them. However, once there is a perceived betrayal or disagreement, that “hero” or “heroine” falls off the pedestal and is instantly, perhaps permanently, branded an “enemy”.
Perhaps you’ve had a friend or even an ex like this. Someone who treated you like royalty then suddenly and unreasonably decided you were against them. Or maybe you’ve had a relative who erupted into accusations, temper tantrums, or displays of public humiliation without provocation. This person may have put you through that episode just to make themselves feel superior and prop up a damaged ego. They probably didn’t even consciously know what they were doing or why they were doing it. Long-term relationships can be challenging for borderline sufferers, but those who are open to treatment can make some progress with ongoing therapy. All things considered, most cases are extremely difficult to treat, as the therapist will inevitably get kicked off the pedestal and become the “enemy”, too, potentially reversing years of therapeutic progress.
Histrionic Trump Predictions
King George III of Great Britain (1738-1820)
And, finally, in the vast buffet of personality disorders, we have Trump’s Histrionic Personality Disorder. This natural propensity for seeking out drama and mining for conflict served him well as a Reality TV Star, but is an unstable and therefore undesirable trait in a politician.
The Madness of King Trump Predictions
Overall, it may seem like Trump has been “getting away” with a lot of deviant behaviour, but his story is more tragedy than comedy, and unfortunately doesn’t end well for him.
Interestingly, King George III of Great Britain was also thought to be mentally ill, although in an even less functioning capacity than Trump. George came to be known as “the Mad King who lost America” in the Revolutionary War. While Donald Trump hasn’t lost America, he will have unwittingly helped every one of us gain the world. But how?
Long-Term Trump Predictions
A Glimpse of Trump’s Sadness. This photo might have captured a genuine moment of feeling empty and unloved. There are a lot of people who will look back in anger at his actions. But can you imagine a living a life without feeling compassion or love? The ability to love is the real wealth and power in life, and if you don’t have that, no amount of attention can buy the most valuable experience in life…meaningful emotion and caring for another human being. Cherish it if you have it. Not everyone is so blessed.
In the end of all this “strutting and fretting”, as Shakespeare might call it, some may thank Trump for teaching us a worldwide lesson: no amount of wealth, privilege, or status is a guarantee of a positive outcome. Happiness does not have to be contingent upon external circumstances. Perhaps you already know and live by the previous sentence, but many individuals, governments, corporations, and even some religious organisations are driven by the short-lived pursuits of money, power, or titles.
The opportunity to have a vicarious global experience of living life through the eyes of a quintessential opportunistic capitalist has given us a gift of finally rejecting thousands of years of worshiping wealth as a God. We’re so sick of seeing stories of Trump that we’re ready for a completely different way of life. Now that we’ve come to associate greed with stress, most of us would rather engage in generosity to distance ourselves from that which repels us. It’s kind of like rebelling against one’s parents by deliberately becoming the opposite, as many generations have done before.
In this future post-Trump world, the long-term needs of the many will finally trump the short-term gratification of the few. Every person has a gift to bring to life if we can but see it, and some of the bigger stories in the news today are bringing us present after present.
Macbeth, Act V, scene v. After Trump is ousted from office, you will see the above quote more frequently mentioned in future articles answering the question “What Happened” when it came to the rise and fall of the Trump regime.
In today’s news of the future, I’ll be making North Korea Predictions, giving details on the future erosion of the Trump cabinet, and mentioning some stories you can expect to hear about in the next week and month in US & World News.
Thank you for submitting your questions and comments. If I didn’t get to yours, it most likely means the answer wasn’t clear. I’m looking forward to hearing more of your insights about US, Global, and North Korea Predictions.
Global Predictions: The 1 Month Fast Forward
What if you could fast forward to a week or month from now and get a glimpse of US or North Korea predictions? What posts would you see filling the newsfeed on your Facebook or Twitter pages? Here are some of the images I saw while recently channeling for near future news…
Q. Any predictions of what you see coming in the next week or month in US News?
Expect another big shake-up at White House this week.
Perhaps you’ve noticed how many people were surprised at the number of voters there were for Trump.
That’s because there weren’t.
He’s concerned that elections tampering investigation revelations will be revealed soon. In many ways, the votes were inflated. As I’ve mentioned before, if you felt something just wasn’t right about the tallies on election night, you were right. Something was altered and the rightful winner was not announced as a result. However, due to the finality of the electoral college, a reversal of that night’s results doesn’t look possible. But if you were one of those who voted for Clinton, it might help you (or perhaps perturb you further) to know that she won by many more than 3 million votes. Soon, specific evidence of online and election machine tampering will be revealed. It could take a few months to see most of this evidence.
I predict we’ll soon see some book burning and book banning in Southern and Central regions of the US, meaning that many of these books will only be banned in certain states. No matter how many bans take place or how long they’re enacted for, they will eventually be lifted.
An increasing social media sentiment toward the Trump administration over the next few weeks will be something like: If you don’t fight it, you’ll be consumed by it. He will be branded as “risking the world to save one’s face: the ultimate narcissist”.
A rewriting of the Declaration of Independence by citizens to reflect independence between the citizenry and the executive branch will be published soon in an opinion column. This parodied document will be much in the same spirit of those who wrote the Declaration of Independence to escape from the “tyranny” of King George III of England in the 18th century.
I see a plague and quarantine in the next two months throughout parts of the Southern US. Expect more of these. Get ready to catch up on some reading until the quarantines subside. I would suggest something like Rebhorn or McWilliams’ translation of Boccaccio’s Decameron.
One of the next major steps forward in social consciousness will be an attempt to move beyond nationalism. If you have recently seen tweets on social media saying “This is not who we are” when referring to the actions of one’s country, statements like this will soon start to be scrutinised. “This is not who we are” will soon come to mean “This is not who humans are”, rather than “This is not who _______ are as a nationality. To say “This is not who we are” sets up for divisiveness, competitiveness, and implies that other nations are “less than” by comparison. This discussion of nationalism will come up specifically as the media revisits the controversy surrounding football player Colin Kaepernik’s protest of the National Anthem. I predict Kaepernick will eventually be picked to play for another team, possibly sometime in the next two years. Many sports teams of the future will become more political or at least socially or environmentally conscious, sometimes reflecting the overriding political persuasion of the region they represent. Sports will take on a layered meaning and attract new kinds of fans who will connect to old fans through a common “tribe”. Ironically, by teams taking on meaningful causes in a bigger way, the tribalism and competition of teams will give way to fighting for a common cause, or winning a game to help a cause and not just to help oneself.
The short-lived Era of Trump has given us a glimpse into a world driven by the desire for money, fame, attention, and self-glorification. In 2017, this lifestyle displayed on the world stage has generated more resistance than acceptance. This is no mistake, as we need to embrace the opposite–compassion, community, and service–in order to survive the next era of environmental change. What we are being shown and what does not agree with us in the news on a day-to-day basis will serve an immense purpose: these stories are making us care more about each other and about working harder to make the future of the world a better and more livable place. Once we’ve collectively learned that lesson, the news will change and the tides will turn on this “Presidency”.
Q. Why is Trump attacking Hillary Clinton so much this week, such as retweeting a Neo-Nazi’s video of her getting attacked by Trump’s golf ball?
Clinton came out with a book and is getting more attention than Trump. He does not like that.
Also, it is about to be revealed without a semblance of a doubt that he did not legitimately win the election, putting his entire rights to the Presidency into question. It is a sad situation and he will be in an uncomfortable position. Trump will insist he knew nothing about it, but testimonies before a grand jury, before the Senate, and statements to the press will reveal otherwise. Many affected people in the US and abroad will be angry at him for knowingly taking part in a deception involving governmental usurpation. There will be a wide, loud, and persistent demand for Trump to be ousted from his position. He will continue to try tactics to confuse or appease the public in order to distract from his soon-to-be-unfolding scandals of this week and the next. The media myth of Trump as a “capable” businessman and politician is unraveling, and he will become increasingly isolated during his downfall. As I’ve mentioned before, history will look upon him with more pity than disgrace.
Q. Any predictions of what you see further into the future in global news?
A viable competitor to Amazon will soon be revealed.
Trade-based culture will become increasingly popular (think James Redfield’s 1993 New Age fiction hit, Celestine Prophecy).
We will be increasingly questioning the meaning and relevance of physical appearances due to a future ability to alter and rotate our appearances throughout the day with the help of holograms. It will be so much faster to get ready in the morning with holograms. More time to eat breakfast. Good!
Speaking of appearances, modeling will become more like storytelling and an extension of acting. There will be more period piece presentations for fashion, and models will dress as characters from pre-21st century literature. Prominent magazines will feature models in outfits from areas around the world to draw attention to charitable causes that the talent or publications want to support and promote. Modelling will be expressed as a form of acting and an opportunity to help people throughout the world, in many cases with less posing and micromanaged direction. A couple of creative designers will popularise this new form of modelling. Clothing will often become more about the meaning behind an outfit and what it is expressing about
someone’s inner state, intentions, or preferences, and less about style. Style will be added back in during the following season. Older models will become more mainstream, with accomplishments or emotional expression in the acting of a story becoming more central to photography than the genetic and/or acquired appearance of a model. Content will usurp form in this new era of fashion photography.
Expect more trompe l’oeil and elements of illusion to appear in homes over the next 8-10 years as an expression of Neptune conjunct Chiron in fantastical Pisces.
There will soon be a trend of gradually declining to include the “marital status” question on medical forms.
We will be seeing an increase in changing social attitudes toward religion. Many will cease to commit to one religion, but “date” a bunch and not feel the need to have a “long-term relationship” with any one organised religion.
In hair and makeup news, we will see a brief return of Japanese kabuki makeup in updated styles similar to those seen in the 1980s. Similarly, French makeup, including beauty marks like those seen drawn on in the 1780s or even earlier in 18th-century France, will make a brief appearance. 1920s Louise Brooks hairstyles will return at the same time as natural hairstyles from the 1970s.
“Marquis de Vauban”. Sébastien Le Presort, 1707.
Aggregate newspaper subscriptions comprised of press alliances will attempt to keep print press alive. Some of these organisations will be called something like: aggregate or conglomerate papers or publications.
We will soon see the emergence of versatile reversible fashions with multiple uses (i.e. a single piece of fabric that can be converted into a tablecloth, head scarf, formal or casual skirt wrap, or Snuggie).
I’ve been seeing images in meditation of an increase in physical and verbal attacks against universities in the US.
Someday I envision a successful reversal of much of the systematic economic genocide of the poor we’ve witnessed throughout the ages, although it takes many years of effort to enact this change on a broader scale.
“Portrait of Madame Ferret Dericour”. Joseph-Siffrein Duplessis, 1769.
We’ll soon see signs of the beginning of the downfall of monarchy. Monarchies will still exist, but more as a figurehead over the next generation or two, then, later, as a subject of historical fascination. The days of inherited titles are going out of style, and there will be a diminishing of governmental power with each subsequent generation of royals.
In science and technology news, I have a vision of video games being developed with an intention of increasing empathy. In these games, one can see from the point of view of people born into various countries, socioeconomic conditions, genders, talents, and mental capabilities.
I’ve continued to flash back to a dream I had last year about a fiery comet that hits the Earth, causing people to stay at a space station, but eventually sparking technological advances that help us avoid an even bigger cosmic conflict.
In the future, I see more varied and increasingly positive words being used to describe describe mental illnesses, with a reframing of “disease” as “opportunity”, often accompanied by “unusual or extraordinary talents and/or perception”. Look for semantic changes like these in future updates of the DSM.
Q. Any North Korea Predictions?
In North Korea predictions, I see Kim Jong-Un in photographs that repeat over and over and look similar each time. It’s almost as if he won’t be heard from for a period of time. Then I see him waving from a green military tank in a parade. The number 47 looks prominent in this vision. I see a near future media revelation that Kim is being supported by Russia and continues to be able to mount offensive missiles despite recent UN sanctions.
In North Korea predictions for the next month or two, it will be revealed that Putin’s regime has been pumping up North Korea as a secret “ally”, giving them additional weapons and access to weapons experts in an attempt to control, weaken, and eclipse the military power of the US. Trump’s weakening of the military in the form of ousting immigrants and people of transgenders will weaken the military strength of the US. Have you wondered who suggested it to him?
Q. What’s coming up this Halloween in future news and North Korea Predictions?
As for North Korea predictions around the time of Halloween, I see an image of a blast of light in the sky and the sound of it falling to the ground in October. But it misses the target, and I see an image of a map showing the number 12 and the word miles. After this incident, I see the image of a tropical island with banana trees and palm trees, an increase in military tanks on the move toward a border, and wine glasses on an elongated table where officials from around the world have gathered to discuss the next step in “diplomacy”.
I had a dream some months ago of an elevator going up and down in a haunted house. It was rickety but briefly held itself up at the point where there was a view. Then it fell lower and lower in a freefall, without being able to control what floor it ended up on. Night falls on Halloween with people still stuck in the elevator, but as it is see-through, there is an ability to see where one is going even if the destination cannot be controlled. Suddenly, the elevator ascends again, stopping high up in the building with an even clearer view of the mountains by night than in the brief ascension to the upper levels of the haunted mansion that were seen just earlier that day. The dream feels like a rise and fall of power on a global level that’s unstable, short-lived, and ends up giving us a clearer and more accurate vision of the future than ever before, one that shows us the beauty and meaning of where we’re going. Perhaps you will see another meaning in this dream. Like art, there’s no right or wrong interpretation-just multiple perspectives that can be contemplated and shared.
Q. Do you have any predictions for the holidays this year?
I hear the sound of the Nutcracker Suite (“done done done done done done done done done”) when I think of the US presidency, perhaps meaning that the Presidency of Trump is “done” by the time it’s Christmas in Russia.
I had a dream last year of the Trump family on a merry-go-round sometime around the holidays, particularly Ivanka and Jared, but all the major players in this administration were there. It felt like a party but was a also a dizzying game going around in circles that couldn’t be easily stopped once set in motion.
3D, virtual Christmas trees and holiday lights will help to save future energy and trees.
Beyond the holidays, I see proud, triumphant feelings of many people helping one another next February and March in the US. More details soon on what the nature of that help will be…

This month’s August Horoscope is written in brief summary form to include both personal and universal themes. You can find your August Horoscope for 2017 by looking for mentions of your Sun sign, Rising sign, or predominant natal chart element (fire, earth, air, or water) below. For instance, most of my chart is fire and water, with a little air and nearly no earth. If I want additional information or if I don’t see my Sun or Rising sign mentioned in an astrology horoscope, I can also search for upcoming trends in fire or water signs.
This is a major month of eclipses, and you may already be feeling a shift in the energy. You’d be right to pick up on that, as some significant world events are on the verge of instigating inevitable change. The planets and houses that accompany these changes will dictate the overriding nature of upcoming events. If you are a Leo, Capricorn, or Aquarius, you will likely witness a transformation in your own life as well. Aries, Gemini, Libra, and Sagittarius are bound to experience a change in August or shortly thereafter, but to a lesser degree than Leo or Aquarius. Details on some of these changes are mentioned below.
Wishing you a Happy August!
August Horoscope: Career & Finance*
Jupiter squares Pluto in Capricorn August 4th-September 1st, bringing a deep need to express philosophical beliefs and expose hidden truths about international corporations. This aspect will likely bring protests intended to keep corporate powers in check-some through meaningful and peaceful speeches, and others with outright physical altercations. A rise in fervent religious beliefs as well as extreme global financial disruption is predicted to be highlighted in or around August news. Jupiter/Pluto aspects can point to large amounts of wealth, but a square would indicate an uncovering of deep issues (Pluto) regarding the ethics and regulations (Jupiter) of corporate distribution of wealth (Capricorn). Expect a gradual unraveling and reconstruction of corporate powers through 2023-2024, when Pluto moves into the Aquarian sign of social programmes and communal fellowship. If you are an Aries, Taurus, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, or Capricorn, you may soon see truths exposed about powerful people in your industry that results in an abandonment of outdated methods in favour of a more efficient system of organisation.
Happy Birthday to all Leos! The Strength card in tarot is associated with your sign, emphasising your confidence, leadership, courage, compassion, and generosity.
This ends up being good news for you, as a different way of working will eventually include less pressure, deadlines, and more of an emphasis on quality of outcome rather than expediency of output. For those of you who work in the corporate world, expect an abandonment of the use of corporate jargon and catch phrases over the next decade, to be replaced with a more genuine way of communicating with colleagues and the public.
Cancer may also feel increased effects of the upcoming eclipses due to being ruled by the Moon. Expect a renewal in goals combined with a heightened career motivation that results in an unprecedented excitement about the possibilities of your future. If you are a Cancer, Leo, or Aquarius and work in anything involving public speaking, acting, art, media, communications, teaching, gaming design, web design, comic book writing, astrophysics, archaeology, engineering, activism, social work, medicine, public service, or non-profit organisations, the power of these eclipses to jumpstart your career could be amplified. Additionally, if you have been making more effort lately in your career and are open to trying uncommon methods to get a different result, your chances of success will be further increased.
Scorpio can expect to feel empowered by the secondhand influences of Mars in Leo. Pisceans can look forward to a natural flow of events without a lot of exertion. Pisces, if you are feeling indifferent about work right now, expect more energy around September 6th, when a full Moon in Pisces infuses you with a feeling of emotional fulfillment that could be connected to the completion of a professional project.
For Gemini, the focus in August may be more on health and research details than career or finance. You will be a source of comfort and support for friends and/or partners in your life whose careers are undergoing unexpected changes. This karma of helpfulness will come in handy when you are ready to move into the next phase of your career or calling. Be aware that you are well-liked and appreciated for your communicative abilities right now, especially if you are sensitive to listening to those you encounter this month and relating to their challenging circumstances with genuine empathy and compassion.
Pluto is associated with the collective power of the masses, and Capricorn rules corporate influence. Pluto’s current position in Capricorn seeks to expose hidden truths and bring about deep change in corporations, banks, governments, and law. Pluto moved into Capricorn during the 2008 recession, a crisis which uncovered the financial risks inherent in exploitative banking practises. We’re currently about to undergo an Economic Reformation period in this more advanced phase of Pluto in Capricorn. The seeds have already been planted for new ways of achieving prosperity. Seeds that bring about change take time to come to fruition, but they are a necessary component in the development of a new harvest. You may have been personally affected by the financial seeds that were sown during 2008’s Pluto in Capricorn initiation, since Plutonian shifts can be experienced on an individual, generational, or global level. It will become increasingly apparent that what happened 9 years ago was an initiation into a more stable way of life over the next few decades when it comes to the way we acquire, distribute, and maintain wealth.
The Sun card is also associated with Leo, and represents playfulness, creativity, children, genuine feelings, positive attitudes, action, and success.
August Horoscope: Love
August 7th brings a partial lunar eclipse in Leo’s partnership sector. If your Sun or Rising sign is Leo, your luck likely increases with an August 21st solar eclipse in Leo that encourages you to go public with a relationship or business idea. The August 21st solar eclipse will be in Aries’ 5th house of children and joy, so there could be a focus on children, family planning, or art, especially for Aries, Gemini, Leo, or Aquarius.
Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn will benefit from career and extracurricular connections this month. Virgo has a window of opportunity to make bigs steps forward in professional relationships through August 31st.
Scorpio can expect an emotionally charged, playful, fun month when it comes to love. For Pisces, love connections tend to feel natural and relatively uncomplicated for most of August, even if the choice of who you prefer to spend most of your time with is not yet clear. Even if you are in a committed relationship, you’ll probably feel most focused on enriching your relationship to an inner life of dreams, meditations, and the development of the imagination.
Cancer may be experiencing a needed a period of rest as respite from the emotionally charged astrological shifts that your sign experienced earlier this summer. You will be likely to attract unique and unusual friends and acquaintances close to home. Romantically, this month could be favourable for you as Venus moves into your sign.
Sagittarius is mostly focused on family relationships throughout August, although the New Moon solar eclipse in companion fire sign Leo August 21st could bring a purging of emotions about a partner, child, or father figure, bringing you into September with a renewed spirit, a feeling of rebirth, and confidence in the possibilities of second chances.
August Horoscope: Global Politics
The lunar eclipse in Aquarius on August 7th asks you to expect the unexpected-especially when it comes to major technology gone awry due to something hidden. Electrical outages, missile launches, internet blackouts, and computer glitches are expected to occur at this time. A pre-retrograde shadow due to Mercury going retrograde August 12th only intensifies the effect of near-future technological disruptions. Lunar eclipses have been known to accompany the end of way of life, as was the case in 1453 when Constantinople fell to the Ottomans, ending the Byzantine Empire whose reign had spanned over a thousand years. However, the start of the siege on April 6th 1453 was amidst a Moon in Pisces and Sun in Aries, signifying an ending and beginning. The August 21st 2017 lunar eclipse features an Aquarius Moon with Leo Sun. Uranus in Aries and Chiron in Pisces, both at 28 degrees, signifies a culmination of spiritual healing converging with a series of protests that have come full circle. Expect this to happen in Russia as well as the US, with something hidden about Putin’s relationship to Trump coming to the surface in an undeniable way in near future media revelations (Putin and Trump share a Pluto in Leo, and with Trump’s rising sign in Leo, we can expect to witness the uncovering of secrets related to how Trump is perceived by the public, likely influenced by Putin and others involved who have prominent Leonine and Aquarian aspects to their Mercury, Mars, or Pluto positions). There will be no going back or denying the truth after this incident is revealed later in August and in an avalanche of information that is made public throughout September. There also seems to be an unusual series of circumstances surrounding schools and universities in August-September, with children and young adults protesting-including the children of celebrities and government officials. Some of these protests will attract counterprotests, resulting in attacks in and around educational centres.
The New Moon solar eclipse in Leo on August 21st provides a contrast, as Leo is the “opposite” sign of Aquarius and the sun astrologically opposes the moon. August 21st could bring a reversal of some of the problems that arise on or around August 7th. An unconventional, original, creative, technologically-driven solution to political power issues will come about at that time. The result will be a group effort (Aquarius) to expose the machinations of singularly-ruled political powers (Leo) in more than one country. This could happen in countries founded when the Sun and/or Moon was in Leo or Aquarius, or in nations currently ruled by those whose natal Sun and/or Moon is a fire or air sign (Donald Trump has his Sun in Gemini, Moon in Sagittarius: air and fire. Nicolás Maduro, current leader of Venezuela, was born under the fire sign of Sagittarius with a Moon in Libra: fire and air.) Overall, the presence of oppositional signs Leo and Aquarius in neighbouring eclipses represents a clash between sovereign or oligarchical powers and the will of the people.
Ren Woods sings about the “…dawning of the Age of Aquarius” in the 1979 film version of musical Hair.
We are currently witnessing a transition from the of the age of Pisces, which brought us a period of self-sacrifice: self vs. large institutions of prisons and religious organisations, mass delusions, and large groups of those on Earth living in poverty while being economically controlled by powerful institutions promising spiritual redemption in exchange for earthly sacrifice. The Age of Aquarius, into which we’ve been moving, is a time of communal acceptance that functions without regard to gender, race, or nationality. The physical barriers that were used to “divide and conquer” most of humanity for at least two millennia and well beyond that are dissolving. The more they dissolve, the harder people will fight against these changes. A perception of division keeps people distracted as they argue with one another instead of noticing the actual issues. Some of the most prominent of these issues are wealthy institutions such as banks and political powers taking advantage of those who have been divided and robbed of revenue to keep them just physically weak enough to be unable to advocate for themselves. An Aquarian Age brings the gift of unity borne of necessity. That necessary element is expected to include environmental, humanitarian, and other actions that are required for our collective survival. By working together for a common purpose, the power of some of these larger institutions will gradually diminish.
Looking further into the future, the global social shift of Pluto moving into Aquarius (2024-2044) parallels another time when Pluto was in Aquarius from 1778-1798, during the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars. It was also an innovative period for the development of classical music. Mozart has numerous planets in Aquarius in the 5th house of creativity, and from 1778 on he enjoyed a particularly prolific period for his work. Beethoven then began composing in the shadow of Pluto in Aquarius (1799). In this next epoch that we are about to enter into, I predict it will be a time of aristocratic decline. Royalty will no longer be unconditionally accepted as a valid system of governing by most countries. Instead, titles of lineage will become more a source of genealogical and historical fascination as we embark upon a time of egalitarian opportunities borne of Aquarian sensibilities.
