Photography is almost my whole life! It is also an opportunity to get to know new, beautiful people, and their stories. If you are looking for a photographer who will notice every single emotion during one of the most special days in your life - you are at the right place!
Anna and Andrew are a Polish-Scottish couple, so their wedding was a cultural mix. A lot of folk games known for both Scottish tradition and Polish folk. Just like a Polish-Scottish wedding in Poland should be. They together decided that the wedding should take place where the bride cames from. So, according to Polish tradition, the groom came with his family to Poland. Firstly, Andrew’s family spent beautiful days in Krakow, and then everybody – family and friends – went to the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, to Busko-Zdrój, where the venue Lawenda was. However, before the party, it was a wonderfully touching ceremony in the Polish church.
Polish-Scottish wedding in Poland
There were tears of emotion. There were wedding dances until morning. There were toasts and speeches for the bride and groom. There were typical games for Scottish guests. There were Polish wedding traditions.
At the Baltic, in Gdynia-Orłowo, by the cliff, the groom proposed to the bride. Hence the shells as an element of a wedding decoration – a bouquet, wedding tables, hairstyles. Wedding flowers have been replaced by a bouquet of seaside shells prepared by a bride who is in love with the Polish sea. After all, it was the most beautiful Polish-Scottish wedding. Thank you that as a wedding photographer from Krakow, I was able to be with you on YOUR day.
Wedding photos from Scottish ceremony in B-W
This is my first time when I show you the entire report only in black and white. Please let me know what you think about it.
Evelyn and Paul are such a warm couple that all of us would feel with them like with old friends. The two of them are complemented by a charming, young Golden Retriever dog, who was taken from the foundation „Fundacja Warta Goldena”. Finally, three of them (and me, a wedding photographer from Krakow, Poland) decided to take a nice, 20-30 minutes, engagement walk in Vineyard Srebrna Góra for a couple pictures.
Vineyard Srebrna Góra Kraków a place for an engagement shooting
Let’s start from the place where the engagement photo shooting was taken. A winery, a vineyards near Kraków! Owners of the Srebrna Góra winery write on their website that: „a vineyard in Italy, France, Spain or Austria is a natural phenomenon, but a vineyard in Poland? A few years ago a similar idea seemed almost madness, and although the history of Polish viticulture is rich and counted in the centuries, we often seem to forget about it… Meanwhile, the vineyards in Poland existed and were quite good, starting from the 10th century at Wawel Kraków, through the absolute flourishing of the XIV-XVI centuries, when Poland was a significant wine country, through a slow decline from the century XVII until the revival of Polish viticulture in free Poland of the 20th century”.
Amazing, right? We could not find any more interesting place for engagement session for Evelyn, Paul and golden retriever Muffin. Besides it’s rich history, the Vineyard Srebrna Góra Kraków means also spectacular, full of nature spot near the Krakow city-center, where the dogs are happily free to play.
Fundacja Warta Goldena – a foundation where Muffin, golden retriever, comes from
I’ve asked Evelyn and Paul to tell me a story of Muffin. That is what their wrote: „Muffin has been with us since January 2018. He was found near the border with the Czech Republic, wandering. He was probably kept in a playpen. The veterinarian determined his age for about 3 years. At the beginning he was admitted to the local animal clinic, who contacted the „Fundacja Warta Goldena” Foundation and then they called us. After 3 days of finding Muffin, he was already in our car, in the way to Krakow to our home. At the beginning, we adopted him on the temporary house (such procedure), but honestly we knew straight away that he would stay with us forever – and so it happened! After a few months of assimilation to the urban living conditions he became a full-fledged, loving and happy citizen of Krakow and a member of our (already soon) family!”
I know that „Fundacja Warta Goldena” Foundation is helping a lot, the volunteers who work there are wonderful, nice and give their whole heart to the golden retriever dogs. Paul and Evelyn got to the beginning all the necessary things (dog’s food, leash etc.). It’s obvious that now – Paul and Evelyn can not imagine life without Muffin.
Wedding photographer Krakow for an engagement shooting with dogs
I do remember when Evelyn and Paul asked me if they can take their dog for an engagement photo-shooting. At ones, I said with full conviction that this is a great idea. Today, I do not change my mind, photos with a dog are a perfect thing for ages for every family.

An engagement photo shooting is always exciting for me as a wedding photographer. This time it made me even more happy because heroes of today’s session have choosen a lunapark in Krakow near Vistula river with the view of Krakow Old Town and Wawel castel – as their spot to have an engagement walk. I am so eager to show you this engagement photos at lunapark in Krakow!
Love and fun – engagement photo-session in Krakow
Agnieszka and Karol wrote to me for the first time a few months ago and they announced in the first message that photos are very important to them. That kind of memento makes them always want to come back with pleasure to those beautiful moments captured on pitures and also makes them smile for a long time after watching! I couldn’t agree more with their words. That was how we – in three – make an appointment at an ice cream shop in Krakow. Since then the love and fun was visible! 🙂 That is why Karol and Agnieszka proposed to have their engagement photo shooting at lunapark!
Vivid and colorful pictures of love from Krakow
The fiancés wanted the engagement session to be vivid, colorful, smiling, a bit ‚sweet’. I would add that meeting at amusement park with the view of Wawel Castle and Krakow guaranted such a happy photo shooting! We ended up this engagement walk on a pizza at Forum Przestrzenie, Krakow. Let’s see what we did this evening.
„When I see your face… There’s not a thing that I would change ’cause you’re amazing… When you smile, the whole world stops and stares for a while” – please, play the song below.
Zalew Bagry, a place for an engagement BOHO photo shooting.
I always say that Krakow is one of the most beautiful cities in Poland and for sure one with the greatest possibilities of activities. One of the spots in the city is Bagry Lake that features three wild beaches and a guarded bathing area. Here in the recreation area we can find also a children’s playground, two marinas with kayak, sailboat and canoe rental. Bagry Lagoon (Zalew Bagry in Krakow) was my first choose when Paulina and Wojciech asked me the place for their engagement session. But actually, we gone there for a little privacy during really morning. That is a perfect place for natural, boho photo shooting.
A couple from Silesia has chosen a wedding photographer from Krakow.
For a natural and boho engagement photoshoot in Krakow’s beach near beautiful lake I needed only – Paulina and Wojciech! Those two have come here specially from Silesia, about an hour long way to Krakow. Let’s see what have we done. I hope you enjoy it.
I were driving there almost a whole day. It was a nice but long trip from Krakow. Podkarpackie region in extreme-southeastern Poland is known mostly by the wilderness of the Bieszczady Mountains, the trails in the Low Beskids Mountains and the magic of the Roztocze Highland. For sure we can call Podkarpackie a perfect space and time for leisure. This time, because of invitation from Paulina and Lukas, I drove there in the northern part of the region – to the village Gorajec! Yes, those two – Paulina and Lukas – have prepared their wedding in barn and granary in the countryside, in a beautiful and magical place named Chutor Gorajec. I only would like to add that Paulina and Lukas work as foresters. I guess I don’t need to explain you how the wedding looked like. It was full of wooden details and extras. Let’s just watch it 🙂
We have decided to get married in Podlasie Poland, in an idyllic atmosphere so that everyone could feel like on vacation, at least for the weekend. – that was the first sentence that Zosia and Janek wrote me some months before their wedding. – At the wedding there will be people from different countries and situations. It should be interesting, pleasant and relaxing. – they added. All those words sounds to me like I am speaking with perfect people with a perfect wedding plan! And as is turned out, they really were!
Wedding in Uroczysko Zaborek – a beautiful old guesthouse
Zosia and Janek, heros of the day, linked polish traditions with the newest rustic wedding trends.
Uroczysko Zaborek Guesthouse in Janow Podlaski, eastern Poland, is located in the Podlasie Bug Gorge Landscape Park surrounded by water and pine forests. It is about two and a half hours from center of Warsaw or 20 minutes drive from Biala Podlaska. It is worth to see the polish architects handicraft – a charming old flair, a priest’s house (built in 1880), a windmill or a farmer’s cottage. But that day it was worth to visit doubly! That was a wedding day of people that loves photography, that comes from Poland but live in London, United Kingdom.
Truly emotional moments during rustic wedding in a polish village.
As we all enjoyed the day in the region Podlasie, you can just scroll down and enjoy those beautiful and truly emotional moments from the ceremony of Zosia and Janek’s wedding and their quick 20-minutes photo-shooting during the party in a polish village. The wedding, magical surroundings, green space, the exquisite cuisine and wooden historic manor house will be remembered for years – that is TRUE!

Actually, this is the story that can inspire, that can interest you, that should be told. Żaneta and Kris has known each other for ages. Also for years they have been a couple. Almost a year ago they became an engaged couple. Since I get known them, those two look to me like a perfect couple. You know – she is pretty, he is handsome. Love. And now – what about a destination wedding in the mountains, Poland?
A huge wedding or an intimate, family ceremony from dreams?
I am quite sure that a question – about organising an intimate, family wedding-ceremony insted of organising a traditional, huge wedding not only for the closest family – is on a table in some of the future-married. The heroes of today’s story had also the same issue. And guess what? After a long ponder they take a step and decited to go with a modest and calm, intimate wedding in a scenery from their dreams. Beautiful, wooden church in mountains make their dreams came true. Pieniny Mountains National Park (Grywałd, Poland) was their real destination wedding place. Non of them was born there, but views of polish mountains and charming, small church convinced them. Ah, you should just scroll down and watch it! Best organised intimate destination wedding in the mountains Poland! All go the way thay want it.
This is a couple like all the wedding photographers want to work with! Really! I have already wrote in my other blog post about their gorgeous wedding at Hotel Trzy Róże Lublin and now it is a right time to publish a bridal session we have done in Polish Tatra Mountains National Park, Zakopane. It was extremely moody shooting but also intimate at the same time – you can imagine, there were no-one else on our summit trial in a really morning hours (even before sunrise). Intimate situations, love around us, best mountain’s views and Sandra and Martin together! Magnificent world of mountain wedding photo shooting. What do we need more? Let’s see the moody bridal session in Tatra Mountains.
There are no words that could express our gratitude. Thank you for capturing the most beautiful moments in our lives, for making the atmosphere relaxed in stressful moments, for the warmth, for professionalism! First and foremost, thank you for creating memories that will last forever. Now, our story will be eternal.
Sandra & Martin
This pretty lady and this handsome man are the couple that I will remember as a 100% couple that trust in my photography vision, no matter what! Since we met they knew I want everything the best for them. So they just follow their hearts and trust me about pictures from their wedding and this rustic bridal session – that I present today!
Natural, rustic mood in a bridal session
Monica and Matthew, about them we speak, are now a married couple, a family! They come from Lublin to Krakow for the bridal session in a rustic mood! We found a beautiful lagoon, amazing farmland with wheat or rye (still do not know) and a spectacular greenhouse! All of that was in the atmosphere they created – full of natural beauty, natural love, natural smiles and tenderness! What’s more, even the outfits of the bride and the groom (I would say especially the groom that has a green wedding suite) perfectly matched the whole photo session!
