Hey, gidday mates! Fun fact: I don’t cook. I do occasionally make some scrambled eggs and I eat either avocado or banana and peanut butter on toast every morning, but apart from that, I eat every other meal out of the house. I would be lying if I said my food bills aren’t high. They are. So high, in fact, that I am embarrassed to tell you what percentage of my income I spend at restaurants. Also my parents will read this and tell me I have failed them as a son. (Hi Mum!) So yes this is a sponsored post, but I say this with all the sincerity in the world that using a debit card that gives me 4% cash back on restaurant spending is genuinely helpful to my life. Enter the Uber Visa Card.
This right here is a pretty typical day in my life. Starts with coffee at Ninth Street Espresso in Alphabet City… Then lunch at somewhere healthy-ish, like Ja Ja Ja vegan Mexican — the nachos are out of control.
Then I’ll shoot some photos for Instagram (like this one here) with my mate Denny Balmaceda…
I take buses and subways every day, but I also catch at least one Uber pretty much every day of the week when I’m running around the city to events etc — I live so far east that there’s no train anywhere near my apartment, so if I can’t be bothered with the bus I just use the app. The Uber Visa Card gives you 2% cash back on all online purchases — including Uber itself — win/win.
And then I’ll get some kind of dessert in the afternoon, like ice cream at Van Leeuwens, and yes as I was eating my ice cream I licked it too hard and it fell apart in my hands and plummeted to the floor, but the guys at VL were kind enough to replace it for free. Who says there’s no love left in the world!?

Hey, gidday mates! I got interviewed about why Auckland is the best little city in the world, and put together a list of my favorite spots (like breakfast at Dizengoff) to commemorate the opening of the new DFS T Galleria in the old Customs House. Check out the video below!

Hey, gidday mates! I made a playlist of my favorite songs that I’ve been playing at parties over the last few weeks for my mates at A Hotel Life — starting with Blocboy JB, with a bit of Busta, Juvenile, HoodCelebrityy, Biggie and Nina Sky in the mix. Check it out below!
