Hello everyone!
Today, I will be reviewing G&G's Xxtra Larger Hyper Size Circle Brown.

These are my first circle lenses! I purchased them from a tumblr shop called: Mochi-Shoppe
Mochi-Shoppe is a special store that provides really cheap circle lenses! You can purchase them through concealed cash or paypal. I really suggest you guys shop here because the prices are reduced by a lot~

Information:
Diameter: 14.5 mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.6mm / 8.9mm
Type: 1 year disposal

Price:
$20+$2 shipping at Mochi-Shoppe
(Other places like PinkyParadise sell them for $26+$10 shipping! Yikes > n <)

The lenses come in the typical two vials with a rubber cap on top and the metal seal. Mochi-Shoppe bubble wrapped it securely and taped the enveloped (which was also lined with bubble wrap).

These lenses come in prescription as well as PLANO. (Yeah, I know I'm blind orz;;)

By the way, the flash picture isn't really flash. I just put my camera up to my really strong lamp light LOL ; u ; And sorry for the random bars in the flash picture. I don't know why, but my camera always does that when it gets close to lamp light... :<

Design:
★★★★☆ 4/5 stars
I think the design is super pretty but not noticeable! It reminds me of GEO's Grang Grang Choco lenses, which I initially wanted. To be honest, there actually isn't that much of a sparkly effect on your eyes, so it makes them look really natural. If you're looking for a lens that will make your eyes stand out, I don't recommend these lenses. These lenses just make your eyes appear larger, and nothing else.

Color:
★★★★☆ 4/5 stars
The color blends really well with the typical dark brown Asian eyes. Though it isn't the EXACT color of my eyes, it's really hard to tell that they're different colors. The color of these lenses are a tad bit darker than my natural eye color, which gives you a kind of creepy gaping eye effect L-LOL ;;

Enlargement:
★★★★★ 5/5 stars
I give these lenses 5/5 stars for enlargement because they are HUGE. Not saying this is a good thing, because my eyes are puny, but seriously they take a up a lot of white space in my eyes o _ o When I initially inserted these lenses, I was so surprised because I looked really creepy!! You definitely need to wear a lot of makeup for this to look okay. I think it might have a 15 mm effect? Or maybe my eyes are just really really small ; u ; ...

Comfort:
★★★★★ 5/5 stars
Inserting these lenses were a piece of cake. They felt exactly like my normal contact lenses and didn't start to dry up until 6-8 hours after wearing them. I felt no discomfort while wearing these, other than a slight blur of vision when the lenses got dislocated from my cornea.

Overall, I give G&G Xxtra Larger Hyper Size Circle Brown a: ★★★★☆ 4/5 stars

These lenses are huge!! But they require a lot of makeup, which I don't wear on a normal basis. I like how they make my eyes really big, but I'm afraid that the effect is too much. I suppose you could wear this daily, but I think it will shock some people if you wear it randomly one day LOL ; u ; It looks natural if someone has never seen your natural eye size before, but it's definitely noticeable if people have seen it before? (If that makes sense? > n <)

Don't forget to enter my on-going giveaway here

Well, that's it!
Thank you for reading!! Have a nice day xoxo

Hi everyone!
Sorry I keep posting things and deleting my posts shortly after > n <
I'm a bit shy about my feelings, so when I post about personal things, I'm afraid of annoying my lovely followers with things they don't care about. So, I apologize for bothering you all!! ; n ;

So, today I got nominated for the Liebster award by Jessie (please, do check out her blog! ♥)

To be frank, I don't even know what the Liebster award is, but apparently you're supposed to tag new bloggers with under 200 followers? ; u ;

Rules to the Award:
1. Each blogger should answer the questions the tagger has set for you.
2. Choose 11 new bloggers to pass the award onto and link them in your post.
3. Create 11 new questions for the chosen bloggers.4. Go back to their page and tell them about the award.5. Each blogger should post 11 random facts about themselves.
6. No tag-backs!

Eleven Random Facts:

1. My mom always cuts my hair. I haven't been to the hair salon since as long as I can remember.
2. I hate myself for being sensitive and physically weak (both in strength and health conditions). Since my father hates weaklings, I've grown up trying to be super macho ; u ;
3. I find anything mini to be really cute! Even if its something as scary as a snake, I'd still think its cute ♥
4. I'm obsessed with organization, but my laziness prevents me from organizing everything > u <
5. I have weird food obsession phases. At one point it was curry, then natto, and now I'm currently obsessed with goi cuon.
6. I have a YouTube channel dedicated to only singing covers. None of my YouTube friends know about my life on Blogger, and none of my friends on Blogger know about my life on YouTube, haha~
7. I get easily scared. When I was little, I saw a glimpse of a ghost on television, and for four years, I had to sleep with my parents every night... e u e;; I've also never seen a horror movie before--
8. I've never broken a bone before or had a cavity.
9. At one point of my life, I was actually really overweight > n < (Not to the point of obesity, though.)
10. February 16 was the Lunar New Year (Chinese New Year) of 1999. Because of that, my family and I celebrate my Lunar birthday instead of my birthday on the Gregorian calendar.

11. I've always enjoyed drinking V8 for some reason. (Yes, the original tomato juice variety)

When we think of cacao, we think of chocolate, right? However, did you know that cacao extract has moisturizing properties?

I was sent this Cacao Moist and Mild Cream from BENTON for review purposes, but I'm excited to try a cacao product that's not greasy and heavy like typical cocoa butters.

Cacao, otherwise known as cocoa, is high in antioxidants and blocks harmful free radicals in the body. The exotic bean also contains omega 6 fatty acids which helps in cellular healing (hello, beautiful skin)!

Benton's Story
“Benton is inspired by and named after the movie 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' in which Benjamin Button grows younger with time...It may just be a fictional movie, but wouldn't most people have the same desire to be young again? Benton desires to restore your skin back to its original, healthy recipes, rather than to give temporary effects with harmful ingredients. Benton presents freshly made products by sticking to small batch production."

Price: $16
Size: 50g
Shelf life: 6 months
Scent: None
Claims:
  • Lightweight texture
  • Suitable for summer
  • Moist finish
  • Water-oil balance
  • Mild formula
Ingredients:
Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Extract, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Water,   Sorbitan Olivate,
1,2-Hexanediol,  Pentylene Glycol, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Extract,  Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract,   Usnea Barbata (Lichen) Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate,   Polyglutamic Acid, Madecassoside, Beta-Glucan,  Carbomer, Arginine, Xanthan Gum

I noticed that the cream was very lightweight. It seemed to literally melt from my body heat into a watery essence which would be appropriate for summetime (not so much for colder seasons when skin gets drier).

As you can see, the cream gave my skin a dewy complexion (which is totally different from a greasy feeling and appearance).

Overall, this cream is extremely lightweight and appropriate for all skin types. As an eczema sufferer, I found that the cream did little for my flaky patches but did wonders on my face. Plus, the fact that the cream is made from natural ingredients and unscented is a huge plus for those with sensitive skin like me.

5. Have fun! :)

Questions:
★ 1Q.Name a beauty regime that you rarely do?
A: I have a whole buttload of face sheet masks, but I rarely use them LMAO. I'd like to them at least twice a week, but it's more like twice a year...
★ 2Q. Is washing your makeup brushes something you do regularly?
A: I don't even wear makeup on a daily basis, much less own any brushes ; u ;
★ 3Q. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
A: I'm not allowed to wear nail polish, but I occasionally wear a light pink or clear nail polish just so my nails look a bit healthier. Since the color isn't too noticeable, I just leave it until it completely chips off or my nails grow out LOL.
★ 4Q. How long do you put off buying/replacing a beauty or nail polish product even if you need it? (i.e purchasing a new topcoat, or a new foundation etc.)
A: I'm always always buying new skincare products LOL But when it comes to makeup or other things, I only buy it when I run out or if I need a new variety. Say I have one lippie in coral. Although I just purchased it, if another lippie in another color appealed to me, I'd buy it. I wouldn't buy another coral lippie, though.
★ 5Q. What is your worst beauty habit?
A: Picking/popping my pimples! Yeah, it's gross, but something is so satisfying about emptying out the pus (sorry if you have a weak stomach LOL). It just feels like my skin is a bit cleaner (albeit bloodier) afterwards.
★ 6Q. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?
A: Schoolwork, singing covers, diet, cleaning up my room. Pretty much everything-- I'm a huge procrastinator >:
★ 7Q. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready until the last minute or not?
A: I hate spontaneously going out. Sometimes, my parents say "Hey, we're going to the beach right now. Get ready within 30 minutes." Like you never informed me of this?! How do you expect me to take a shower, pick out clothes, put on lotion, and do my hair in under 30 minutes? I need at least 1-2 hours to get ready, and I don't really like to sit around the house waiting before I go out. Like if I'm waiting under 30 minutes, it's alright. But if not, it feels like my makeup (if I have any) is sliding off my face and my hair is drooping haha > u < (Even when it's not hot and humid).
★ 8Q. Can you commit to spending bans?
A: Uh, what's a ban...banner? If ban= banner, then no LOL. I'm just a high school student with no job >:
★ 9Q. How organised is your makeup and nail polish collection?
A: Since I rarely use makeup and I'm not allowed to use nail polish, I don't have much of a collection. My "makeup" is just a handful of BB creams and concealers since my skin is in gross teenager condition.
★ 10Q. What is the longest amount of time you have gone without writing a blog post?
A: 17 days...yikes! It's not like I don't "blog" though. I have a LOT of drafts, and I check my blog feed/comments everyday ; u ;

I know you guys are bored when you read this considering the fact that my award posts have a lot less views and comments than my other posts = _ = But it's okay...I don't blame you orz;;

It seems like I tag the same exact group of people when I need to tag bloggers, so I'll be tagging the people who happen to be reading this~

Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day! xoxo

I'm pleased to announce that I've been selected as a 1st Generation Beautiful Pioneer!

What is a Beautiful Pioneer?
“A Beautiful Pioneer is curious.
A Beautiful Pioneer is thorough.
A Beautiful Pioneer embraces and promotes beauty & individuality.”
I'll be working with Cupidrop to test out the latest K-beauty products and review them with 100% honesty.

Since Cupidrop is based in NYC, shipping is super fast for US residents! The prices are also super affordable as the company started with the simple idea of offering great skincare products at great prices to the US.

For my first product, I received the SECRET KEY Self Brow Tattoo Tint Pack. I chose #04 Ash Brown because its the only shade with grey undertones, which look the most natural on girls with black hair.

The peel-off makeup trend has piqued my interest for some time now so I was super excited to try this out! I always seemed to gravitate to my good old brow pencil but by stepping out of my comfort zone, hopefully I'll discover a new holy grail for my brows!

Price: $6
Size: 8g
Scent: Glue. But that's only because I intentionally took a giant whiff an inch away from the bottle. The scent is undetectable upon opening and application.
Ingredients (rough run through Google Translate...obviously some gibberish in there):
Purified water, ethanol polyvinyl alcohol, dihydroxyacetone, Butylene Glycol, Polysorbate 00. panthenol, aloe vera leaf extract, soybean extract, xanthan gum, camellia seeds, tocopheryl acetate, sodium chloride, hydroxyzine . 1.2-hexan di caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, W quality hexyl glycerin, Red No. 227 methane, pansaek No. 4, Blue No. 1

The brush is fairly thick so that large amounts of product can be applied easily. You're supposed to apply a thick, even layer as opposed to a thin one for optimal pigmentation. On the downside, this makes precise edges difficult to achieve.

Once dry, the tint became a thin, stretchy film. While I did lose around 2 hairs per brow upon removal, it was quick and painless. I found that the tint didn't come off in one piece and had to be rubbed off in small parts because it was clinging onto my hairs. When I applied the tint to my arm for a swatch/longevity test, the dried tint actually came off by itself-- indicating how easy it is to remove on smooth skin.

My initial reaction to the tint was how "sharpie" it looked. There's no possible way to thin the product out near the inner corners of your brows or create a softer outline. I actually tried with my right brow and ended up with patchiness in that area. Keep in mind that your brows will look exactly like how you draw them with the tint except several shades lighter. The edges will be super sharp!

While the majority of my brows were a nice "khaki grey" color, the edges were faintly outlined with some gold color. Honestly speaking, I was a bit horrified with how unnatural things looked immediately after removal. For review's sake, I decided to leave the brows be to see how they faded.

The next morning, I was pleasantly surprised at how natural things were looking! The edges had softened up and were looking very similar to how I normally fill in my brows. The areas with little to no hair (my inner corners) lightened up significantly while the areas dense with hair stayed dark.

My favorite days were 2-3, and I noticed that the darkness was virtually gone by day 5.

For my second test on my brows, I left the tint on for only 30 minutes and the end product was very similar. However, the color was extremely prone to smearing. The product also peeled off easily and pulled off no hairs. Definitely leave your brows alone for 24 hours if choosing to apply for only 30 minutes!

As for the longevity test, I decided to do two patches on my wrist. (Keep in mind that the results on my wrist are much different than the results on my brows because my face is oilier, and more prone to sweat.) The instructions recommend leaving the product on overnight for a more "intense" color so I applied one patch for 2 hours and the other for 8 hrs.

The morning after applying the overnight patch test, I found that the product had peeled off by itself during the night. As a result, I'm not completely sure if I had the product on for 8 hours, but I definitely know that it was longer than 2.

Applying the product for only 2 hours gives a more brown color, while applying overnight gives a darker, grey color. The darkness of both patches was consistent for 5 days until I decided to run water over it (I had avoided running water over it in the shower.)

Once in the shower, the color significantly lightened. The color then continued to fade gracefully when I resumed running water over my wrist in the shower.

On day 11, I cleansed my wrist with a cleansing foam and the color came right off. There is a SLIGHT trace of the product, but for the most part it was gone.

Overall, I would recommend this product to those who want to have brow makeup on while at the pool or water park. The color fades much quicker than expected and stays for 1-2 days if you cleanse per usual.
The peel off trend is fun, I admit, but definitely a gimmick!

Imagine my surprise when my eemo handed me a bright, red box with the label "100% Pure Horse Oil" on it.

Trying my best to be as polite as possible, I feign a smile and graciously accept the gift with open arms. My eemo is a tour guide for Koreans who visit Japan so she flies to Japan every other week and often picks up things that interest her. This week, it had to be horse oil.

Not gonna lie, I felt pretty disgusted when I found out that horse oil was being used as a beauty product. But then I realized that I was just being a culturally insensitive little bitch. (Hey, don't get me wrong if you don't support horse oil if you're vegan or if you care for animals. I'm just saying that if you're alright with other animal products don't hate on the horse oil.)

Horse oil blew up last year in Korea as an alleged cure-all for acne, eczema, and other skin conditions. It's been used for hundreds of years across Asia and the first account of it being used was
found in an ancient Chinese medicine book called Bencao Gangmu.

This seems to be a no-brand horse oil but since it just appears to be horse oil with no other ingredients, it should be the same as other horse oil brands. Thanks to my boyfriend (he's starting up his cooking blog so please check him out!) for translating the Kanji, which says: Hokkaido Pure Horse Oil Highest Quality.

This 70 mL glass jar came in a nice box but I lost it since I received this last year :( The price was 3,500 yen.

The consistency is very similar to coconut oil, which I've also used as a moisturizer. It melts into a liquid at body temperature yet maintains a creamy, solid state in the jar. I really hate putting oil on my face so I reserve this only for the eczema on my face and body. The oil just sits on top of your skin and takes the longest time to soak in.

Last year, I had an unknown skin rash (probably eczema) that grew on my eyelid overnight. Nothing, absolutely NOTHING I did would help it go away, even pills or steroids. This is where my eemo comes in, swooping with her horse oil. I was pretty desperate at this point to get rid of the rash so I slathered a layer of horse oil onto it before I went to sleep to dream about normal looking eyelids. When I awoke, my eyelids looked significantly better and were not flaking! They still didn't feel like normal skin, but I was happy to know that something was working.

I don't use this oil anymore after I discovered ceramides, but it was one of the products that helped my weird eyelid rash. It's an alright moisturizer/oil for super flaky skin but I wouldn't recommend it for daily wear if you don't have the patience to let it soak in. Putting makeup on top of the unsoaked oil will result in your face looking and feeling like a greasebomb.

Left: unmoisturized eczema
Right: eczema after leaving a layer of horse oil on overnight

On application, it feels like nothing. But then my eczema slowly starts to burn (not in an unbearable way, it's just common in my experience whenever I put a moisturizer on my eczema). As you can see, the photo on the right is less flaky and scabby than the photo on the left but it's nothing dramatic or life-saving.

I'll stick to my ceramides, thank you very much.

Hello everyone!
Recently, I've been nominated for The Versatile Blogger Award by:

Please do check out her blog and her blog post here.
Thank you so much for nominating me!

However, before I start, I'd like to make a short announcement.
Due to many of my international blog readers taking interest in my giveaway, I've extended the giveaway for another month to give those who have not entered, the chance to participate.
Thank you to all who have already entered, and good luck!

Rules of the VBA:
If you are nominated, you’ve been awarded the Versatile Blogger award.

1. Thank the person who gave you this award.
2. Include a link to their blog.
3. Next, select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly. ( I would add, pick blogs or bloggers that are excellent!) Nominate those 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award
4. Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself.

My Nominations:

Seven Things About Me:
1. I would rather be brutally honest than sugar coat things. However, because of my compassionate nature, I can never really be honest about anything in fear of hurting other people's feelings, so I tell a lot of white lies when people ask me about my opinion on something. (Which I know is bad sometimes :c)
2. I really really love animals!
3. I was raised as a Christian, but due to my own reasons, I am now an Atheist.
4. I'm really emotional and I get excited easily LOL;;
5. I don't own any video games or gaming systems, and I never have.
6. My ears are virgin! I've never pierced them before (or any other part of my body).
7. My favorite bodyspray/scent is apple (more specifically, Farmer Apple from Bath & Body Works! ♥)

You guys really don't know how long it took for me to find seven things about me orz;;

Also, Secrets of Camille nominated me for The Liebster Award, which I've already done in this post here.
I'm sorry that I can't take the time to write another post, but I thought that I could at least mention you in one of my posts.
Please check out her post here.

Thank you if you've read this far into my post. If not, then...I don't know orz;; Sorry for being boring!
Bye now xoxo

Dear u/lpark000, thank you so much for posting that PSA on the Club Clio sample sale in NYC! My boyfriend and I live around 2 hours from Manhattan and we decided to plan a trek with my family to eat at our favorite food stops. If you hadn't posted that PSA, my mom and I never would have known to stop by and grab a haul :)

Price: $40 on official US website
Claims:
  • Non-drying & moisture locking powder compact
  • Provides full & natural coverage
  • All-in-1 total powder compact for quick and easy makeup
  • SPF 35 PA+++ (but we all know that ain't enough)
Ingredients:
Talc, mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77819), Silica, the chilhek silme methoxy cinnamate, nylon-12, zinc oxide (CI 77947), hit a tree on the HEX elderly, dimethicone, H. DI / year methyl tree hexyl lactone cross polymer, cotton (7.4PPM), rosehip fruit oil, African walnut oil, add kiwi chumul tomato fruit / leaf / stem Chu chumul, Western rapeseed sprouts extract, jailri tubs, dim wood gum extract, gamguk flower extract, green tea extract, lemon extract bamip, rooibos extract, thyme extract line, jasmine extract, rosemary extract, dusong bud extract, Goji extract

This product comes in two colors, 01 Pink Beige and 02 Natural Beige. I suspect pink beige is for those who have cool undertones while natural is for those with warm undertones. Natural is considered to be for medium ranged tones and is the one with the most natural color & finish between the two.

There is no fragrance to this product unless you really put your nose up to the compact and sniff the shit out of it. The smell is a generic faint powder scent that smells nonexistent on skin.

The packaging feels light and good quality. Despite it being plastic, I'd compare it to the packaging of high-end US makeup products such as Estee Lauder or Lancome. The pact comes with a little puff which is nothing special or luxurious. It feels quite similar to a flat, dry beautyblender.

The formula is very buildable, has a super soft silky finish, and feels weightless. I used black eyeliner to simulate dark spots, brown and blue/grey to simulate under eye bags, and pink to simulate blemishes or redness. On the left of the above photo is no makeup while the right has several layers of the pact. The coverage is light to medium, depending on how much you apply.

I really like what this pact did on my slight redness! My right cheek without makeup is relatively smooth with visible pores and a little redness. Applying a bit of powder on top makes smooth skin look even and matte. My cheek also feels SUPER soft...I couldn't stop touching my skin after I applied this.

However, this product doesn't do so great on uneven areas. My nose is relatively smooth and bb cream applies fine on it, but this powder literally clung onto every single bump on my skin. It looks super cakey the moment it touches your skin on little peach fuzz, rough areas, and dry patches.

I was so shocked at how horrible this powder looked that I instantly went to the computer to document an angry, disappointed review. 15 minutes later, I glanced at the mirror ready to describe how cakey it looked when I thought, "Wait. This isn't too bad."

I thought I was imagining things so I applied the powder to another area (which of course came out rough and cakey at first) and waited patiently for 15 minutes to elapse. I was skeptical and thought that I had unconsciously rubbed the product off while writing so I made sure to keep my face untouched.

After 15 minutes, I checked my face again and voila! The rough texture had subsided. While it isn't as smooth as I would've liked, it's a WHOLE LOT better than what it used to look like. Keep in mind that I took these photos under white fluorescent lighting so this is as exposed as my skin is gonna get.

The powder actually looks more natural and less cakey as the day goes on. It seems like the coverage decreased and the cakiness subsided so it pretty much just faded away. On the bright side, I was not oily for the entire day so that's good.

Overall, this product is okay for those with completely smooth skin and would like light coverage, oil control, and a matte finish. Despite it being medium to full coverage in the beginning, this powder is not long lasting and fades into light coverage over time. As for me, I am not repurchasing this any time soon. It emphasized all my textural flaws and irritated my dry flakes rather than locking in moisture. If you're going to be mainly under indoor or dim lighting, then don't worry. Your skin will look super velvety and flawless. That's great and all but...I'd prefer to look flawless everywhere, in any lighting thanks.

Sunflower oil + Jeju green tea extract= protection against UV rays

Price: $16 USD
Size: 50 mL
Shelf life: 1 yr
Fragrances: Herbal. Only detectable if sniffed up close. Gone within 10 minutes.
Claims:
  • 5-free system: animal ingredients, mineral oils, synthetic fragrances, tar dye, talc
  • Water resistant
  • Triple care: UV protection, anti-aging, whitening
  • Long lasting
Initial thoughts:
  • This sunscreen is tinted! It's not obvious, but triple care is beige.

For reference, I bolded sunscreen filters, made moisturizing ingredients green, and questionable ingredients red. It seems like the oat and triple care are both physical sunscreens while the essence is chemical.

Oil Control:
Essence, oat, and triple care after less than a minute (with flash). You can really see the color discrepancy. Oat got so excited, it wet itself as soon as it got to the paper. Not even kidding.
After around 10 minutes with the paper held in front of a bright light so that you could clearly see all the oil that oozed out. The speed at which the oil circles grew plateaued at this point but continued to slowly grow. Obviously oat is the oiliest, then triple care, and then essence.
NO ESSENCE I HAD HOPE IN YOU. This is after around 8 hours, simulated to be like a whole day of work indoors.

Moisture Test:
Essence and oat both claim to have hydrating properties so I put them to the test! I have mild eczema (the flaky kind, not the red easily irritable kind) on the insides of both my elbows so I put an equal amount on both.
Immediately: Essence mildly burned upon application but oat was fine. I didn't feel anything with oat.
10 minutes: The side with oat on it started to itch occasionally. Not that much, but I just felt the urge to scratch a few times. I felt nothing with essence.
1 hour: Both were completely absorbed into my skin. The skin with oat went back to its rough, flaky state while essence felt like normal skin.

Swatches:
Sunscreen alone-- essence, oat, and triple care. Oat and triple care have white casts while essence looks like my normal skin with a very slight yellow tinge.
Essence, oat, and triple care under makeup. Natural lighting and flash above. The white casts aren't a problem under makeup.

Outdoor Test:
I went outside to tan my arm for 3 hours with the strips of sunscreen on it and applied the sunscreens onto different parts of my face as well. My face becomes oily all over when going outside so I didn't need to worry about which zones were oilier than others.
Oat and triple care have a similar consistency, like a normal sunscreen but not very oily. I might be imagining this, but oat might be slightly thicker. Essence feels like water upon application but quickly takes on a light sunscreen texture once it sets in.
I was really digging the texture of my skin with oat and triple care on it. It feels sort of tacky and rubbery? Not oily at all, it kind of feels like smooth dry rubber.
The area where essence was applied onto started to get oily after around 10 minutes! It wasn't as oily as western sunscreens but it was noticeably oilier than the other two sunscreens.

Admittedly, I don't tan very easily. I go outside every other day and I've only seen my body have tan lines around 5 times in my entire life. I still wanted to show you guys a picture just in case you were curious. This is with makeup washed off.

Waterproof + Longevity Test:
Only triple care claimed to be waterproof so I tested it by applying it to only half my hand and waiting 15 minutes for it to set. I then ran water over my hand for around 1 minute and gave the water 2 minutes to soak into my skin.
As you can see, the water droplets stayed on the side where triple care was applied onto.

After 5 hours, I ran my hand under some water again and it was still waterproof! However, I did stay indoors all day so that might be why it was so well preserved.

Essence:
  • Lightweight, appropriate for indoors and shit for outdoors
  • Moisturizing! Did well on eczema and did not irritate it either
  • Little to no fragrance
  • No white cast whatsoever
Oat:
  • Heaviest and oiliest of all the sunscreens
  • Not moisturizing, if anything it was slightly irritating to my eczema
  • High fragrance. It could double as a perfume to be honest
  • Surprisingly matte "rubbery" texture. I like how it feels on my face
  • White cast if worn without makeup, but under makeup it is fine
Triple Care:
  • Normal sunscreen texture. Creamy
  • Waterproof
  • Little to no fragrance
  • Matte "rubbery" texture that I enjoyed outdoors and indoors
  • White cast if worn without makeup, but under makeup it is fine
Overall...
Triple care is suitable for outdoor use while essence is suitable for indoor use. Oat, to be frank, kind of sucks. I guess that's why it's not on the official Innisfree website...jkbutnotreally. If I had to pick only one, I'd pick triple care. I actually like essence and triple care equally, just for different uses.

I know I didn't test if triple care was whitening and anti-aging but if you want, I will update you guys in the future!

P.S. Any other beauty bloggers might wanna join the Maple Tree Blog's AB See link party! Increase traffic and network with other bloggers through this special bi-monthly event :) This week's theme is Back to Basics and I think my sunscreen is an imperative part to any skincare routine.

Their shipping is relatively fast-- I received my package within 10 days.

This item is ranked as the best selling item in Singapore and WISHtrend.

Price:
$25 at WISHtrend

Pros:
♥ 20% of the serum is pure Vitamin C (hence the name? haha~)
♥ Whitens skin
♥ Fades scarring
♥ Removes blackheads/whiteheads
♥ Improves and evens out complexion
♥ Softens and moisturizes skin
♥ Prevents premature signs of aging
♥ Gently exfoliates
♥ Tightens pores
♥ Reasonably priced

Cons:
★ Sticky
★ May sting skin
★ Smells slightly medicinal (but it also smells like oranges)
★ Glass packaging, so it may break easily

Ingredients:
Water, Ascorbic Acid, Alcohol, Sodium Lactate, Butylene Glycol, Glucose, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Bis-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane, Methylparaben, Diethoxyethyl Succinate, Phenoxyethanol, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Xanthan Gum, PEG-180, Gluconolactone, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Beta-Glucan, Rosa Davurica Bud Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Zinc PCA, Panthenol, Niacinamide, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Flower Extract, Glycerin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Lecithin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ubiquinone, Diisopropyl Adipate

The packaging is a glass vial with a dropper cap which contains 30 mL of serum.

Inside the box is the serum, which comes sealed with a normal screw on cap. It also comes with a dropper cap which you can change.

Serum with dropper cap

The serum is thick, but not thick enough to stay on my arm in a droplet. The serum is thin enough to run down my arm.

I've conducted a test with two apple slices, one with the Vitamin C 20 serum applied on top, and the other without the  serum. As we all know, apples turn brown because of oxidation, but the apple with Vitamin C did not oxidize as much as the one on top, which is good!!

I have been using this serum for around two weeks, now.

With the help of this serum, I've seen a dramatic improvement in my skin! My pores are smaller, most of my pimples are gone, my redness has been reduced, and some scars have faded as well~
Thank you OST and WISHtrend ♥♥♥

Overall, I give the OST Original Pure Vitamin C 20 Serum a: ★★★★★ 5/5 stars!

My first impression on this serum was that the packaging was so fancy and high-end LOL;; I actually let my mom share it with me, so we've used it together during this time. Her opinion on this serum is really good too! When I asked her how she liked the serum a few days ago, she said it made her skin feel and look youthful~ The results in her skin proved her statement to be true.
That's it for now. Thank you for reading, and have a beautiful day xoxo
