Gabifresh personal style blog, where I share my fashion advice and outfits that I hope inspire others to take risks and have fun with clothing regardless of their size. This Women's fashion blog covers style, lifestyle, beauty and more.
We all know that Amazon Prime is LIFE–I use it almost daily because of the insanely fast shipping (the people in my apartment probably think I’m nuts because of the amount of packages I receive). It has literally changed the way we shop for everything from toiletries to tech. I knew Amazon had some great fashion options; it’s often where I’d go to search something really particular that I couldn’t find elsewhere with specific search terms like “plus size red skirt.” And while that method has been working well, I was actually impressed when I learned about Amazon Fashion. It’s a vertical within Amazon that has a ton of really cute clothes and is a great fashion destination to browse, not just a place to type something into a search box. They have a ton of plus size options and include some of my favorite contemporary brands and designers like Rachel Roy, Junarose, NYDJ and Melissa McCarthy Seven.
That’s how I found this amazing pastel Calvin Klein suit! You guys know I live for a matching set and colorful suits are my jam. They’re a stylish twist on a classic staple that truly takes you from work to weekend. (Shop the blazer here and the pants here).
I wanted to go for a dressed-down version, so I made it more casual by cuffing the pants and wearing it with a white tee from Rebel Wilson x Angels (shop it here). I played up the silver hardware in the suit by pairing it with this amazing white and silver Loeffler Randall bag (shop it here).
This is one of many outfits I bought so stay tuned for more soon…in the mean time, take a look around Amazon Fashion, there are endless options!

My experience working with Covenant House California as part of the State Farm Neighborhood of Good® program has been completely amazing! From the first day we went to work deep cleaning apartments for the youth, to the last day we visited before the holidays to donate clothes and teach a class, I was continuously blown away by all that the organization does to help homeless youth and give them the skills and tools they need to succeed. The staff are so dedicated to aiding them as they discover and pursue their interests, acquire and maintain jobs, learn financial responsibility, and further their education. Not only that, but the youth themselves are inspiring with their drive and dedication. I’m so grateful I had a chance to work with State Farm on this initiative. They’ve put so much work into making it easy for all of us to get motivated to help others and find volunteer opportunities through their website, where you can easily search for places to give your time.
Right before the holidays, Nicolette Mason and I visited Covenant House to talk to the youth about our own stories, sharing how we have been able to build careers using social media and eventually launching a fashion line together. It was a really intimate discussion with the youth, so we had a lot of time to dig into how each of them could use social media to help pursue their own interests and kick start a career. I loved hearing their dreams—everything from journalism and photography to fitness and screenwriting—and sharing advice to help, hopefully, make them into realities.
After our talk, I delivered huge containers of clothing from my closet; it felt great to go through all of my things and reassess what I actually wear and need, and give away things that would have a better home somewhere else. Covenant House let me know that unfortunately plus size women are often left out when people and brands donate clothing. I also was happy to donate to their Amazon Holiday Wish List, and shared it with you guys on social media—thank you to everyone who pitched in to help get the youth items! I appreciate it so much, and so do they.
This has been such a heartwarming experience, and I am going to continue to support Covenant House California whenever I can (I’m going to an event with them this week)! I truly encourage all of you to use NeighborhoodofGood.com® and find out how you can help in your community—I promise it will be worth it!

I can’t believe it’s 2018! With January comes a lot of reflection, but it also means A NEW SWIMSUITSFORALL COLLECTION! I had a super busy 2017, with the launch of Premme and adding lingerie design to my repertoire, but you guys know swim will always have the most special place in my heart–it’s what really got all of this rolling. So with each new launch, I get a set of butterflies unlike with anything else…
This year, my collection features super bold designs, beautiful colors, and lots of metallics. As it came together, I realized the styles would look perfect in a jungle setting–and so our idea for a photo shoot was born. Inspired by Destiny’s Child’s Survivor, I really wanted to portray strong, inspirational women, which led to the casting of two of my faves: Philomena Kwao and Ericka Hart. Both of them are not only beautiful, but have such inspiring stories of overcoming obstacles, and I hope we were able to translate that power into the photos. We shot in the jungles of Belize and the entire trip was breathtaking.
As always, I want my swimwear to make all of you guys feel amazing–nothing should hold you back from feeling empowered and beautiful! I hope you guys love these suits as much as I do–I honestly think this is my favorite collection yet. CLICK HERE TO SHOP!
As always, if you have any questions about fit etc, feel free to tweet me @gabifresh!
Anddd for even more epic news: we are having an open casting call in LA for my next collection that launches for Spring/Summer!!! I get questions all the time from aspiring models, and this is your chance–click HERE for all the details.
I’m so excited to share that I’m working with State Farm for their Neighborhood of Good® initiative over the next few months–they gave me the opportunity to choose a local charity that was close to my heart and I decided on Covenant House California. Covenant House is an international non-profit that provides sanctuary and support for homeless and trafficked youth, but they are so much more than just a “homeless shelter.” I recently visited and got a tour of the LA location and it was so inspiring–beyond housing, they have so many other supportive resources to really set their youth up to be self-sufficient. They teach life skills; help them secure GEDs, jobs and learn financial responsibility; they have an on-site health clinic for check ups and medical care; they even offer arts education and exposure and have dedicated rooms for music and painting. I went in expecting one thing and was totally blown away by how much they do–I’m so glad such an extensive program exists with people who truly care about the well-being and long term success of their youth.
I asked the staff how I could be of service, and they said that they would love for me and my friends to come and clean some of the apartments that their youth transition into after they’ve successfully gone through the on-site program. These apartments definitely needed some TLC, and the youth deserve to come home to a clean apartment that makes them feel good and motivated to continue their hard work. I jumped at the opportunity to help, and my friends and family were of course more than happy to chip in!
We broke our group into two and spent the next few hours deep-cleaning the apartments–the difference after we were done was honestly amazing! We were all proud of the work we’d done, and knowing we made a small difference in the quality of life for these youth was a really great feeling.
I can’t wait to keep working with Covenant House over the coming months; the work they do is truly unique and incredible, as are the people in the program. I will definitely keep sharing more here and on social media as we continue to find new ways to help.
It’s a pretty scary time in the world and things can feel overwhelming, but I find that helping others is a way to feel more grounded and remind ourselves that we do have the power to make a difference, even on a small scale. It matters. I definitely encourage you guys to visit Neighborhood of Good® and see if there’s a local cause you can volunteer to help!

I ignore old school fashion rules about…well…everything, and that includes reserving the color white for a certain time of year. That being said, there is something refreshing about wearing a head-to-toe white look during the summer. As always, ASOS is bringing it with endless white options. They have us covered both for dressy and casual occasions; I opted for a more laid back outfit with these cute white cutoffs paired with fishnet shorts, a cropped tee, and Adidas sneakers. These items are from the main range, but Curve also has some amazing pieces (I got this dress and these jeans too).

I’ve been into printed co-ord sets for years now, and my love for them hasn’t decreased even a smidge. Eloquii consistently has the cutest ones and I swear they’re taking all of my money because every time I refresh the site it seems like they have new inventory! I knew I needed this red floral top and matching culottes as soon as I saw them, and they didn’t disappoint. I’m obsessed with the pleated origami detail on the bralette and the stripe across the pant — it’s those cool details that set Eloquii apart from so many other plus retailers. Their commitment to making fashion forward options for us is obvious through their designs. (P.S. – size down in this look, I found it ran a little big).

This post is part of my ongoing partnership with Le Petit Marseillais.
When I moved to LA, I imagined I’d spend a ton of time at the beach. Well…I’m three years in and I’m lucky if I make it there a few times a year. (It’s funny what we take for granted when things are so close to us!) This year, though, I’ve been determined to make more of an effort to check things off of my “must do in LA” list, and renting a cute bike to ride around Venice was at the top of mine.
It totally didn’t disappoint! For $6, I got a cruiser and made my way up and down the strip, people watching as palm trees swayed in the wind. I chose the coral bike–partially because it went well with my outfit, but it also matched my scent! I used Le Petit MarseillaisWhite Peach and Nectarine shower gel that morning, and I took it as a sign that the bike perfectly matched the bottle color. (And for the record: it smells amazing. I like to pretend that as I rode by, people had to do a double take because of the cute girl who smelled like peaches).
I fell in love with the UK-based brand Elvi as soon as I saw their first lookbook debut last year. Their clothing immediately stood apart from everything else in the plus market; it was stylish, on-trend, and clearly made without the old-school rules about bodies in mind, which I obviously love. When I went to London last Fall, I made a point to see it in person and it was just as gorgeous as I’d hoped – remember this look? (note: it runs small so size up).
When they sent me their Summer lookbook, it wasn’t surprising that I coveted so much of it, but I was especially into this oversized striped blouse and pant set. Y’all know I love stripes, and the flowy effortlessness of this look won me over. It’s definitely perfect for the pajama trend, but the beautiful fabric and great details (like the metal “belt buckle” at the waistband) keep it from looking like actual PJs. I’m super impressed with everything they’ve done so far and can’t wait to see what’s next!

The world is obsessed with sleek one piece swimsuits right now, and I’m all-in when it comes to the trend. I was excited to see swimsuitsforall’s new campaign featuring the iconic red Baywatch suit because it’s been on my list of must-haves for a while.
The campaign stars Ashley Graham, Teyana Taylor, and Niki Taylor, and the photos are so good. I remember when the paparazzi pics of Ashley were going viral from that day and everyone was talking about how amazing she looked–I had no idea it was from a swimsuitsforall shoot! I’m so pumped that this brand is doing bigger and better things with each season.
Remember babes, no matter your size, shape or age, rock your bod this summer (and year round!) at the beach. You are worth it.
