Glad your knee if feeling better and kudos for doing the run. Even at 7 it was not pleasant.

On the thermometer in my car, it showed 104 today. I wanted to take a photo, but by the time I took the photo, it went down to 102. I want to email it in the winter when it is 2 degrees.

Didn't know your wife was a runner. Is it a trail run, or an obstacle run? Good decision to skip the race today.

That's a lot of volume for the squats. Also, funny story in a weird way about the sleeve.

It is a lot of volume, I should cut down, lift heavier, less reps. Sometimes I feel like buying a sleeve to bring with me to the gym (and I might). Many people bring ab wheels to the gym (the gym doesn't have any. If they did, people would steal them.

Running / walking today: 4.16. w-t-d: 4.16; m-t-d: 38.13.

I took the dogs for a walk in a local park on some trails. We got out around 7 before it got too hot. I think we did about 1.5. The knee was fine so once we got home, I changed clothes and went back to the same park. If you run the entire trail system it is 3.25 miles. I did two loops so 6.5 miles. Stats are 6.51 miles in 1:13:33 for an average pace of 11:18. I started with a full water bottle but had to stop both times I passed the restroom area to refill it.

Today will be my first...
