Fiori Floral Design by Miles Johnson - 1w ago

At Fiori Floral Design, we recognize that when a customer orders flowers from us, we are not just delivering an arrangement; we are also helping them convey emotions. it is a task that we take very seriously so, along with impeccable design, we also work very hard to provide exemplary customer service. We appreciate the trust that our customers have given us at all of the important moments of their life.

Our design team worked really went the extra mile to make sure that our offerings are diverse and each with the perfect finishing detail. For variety, we have Starstruck, a tropical Texture Box arrangement; Still Life, which was inspired by Dutch Master's paintings; and Pink Outside The Box, a hatbox filled with roses, hydrangeas and orchids. With so much to choose from, we are sure to have an arrangement for you that is as unique and and beautiful as your love.

Our exclusive designs also showcase what is currently hot in floral design. We have several arrangements featuring garden roses, those ruffly, big balls of beauty. Our arrangement named Still Life is a relaxed garden style floral that is perfectly on point with current trends. Our favorite arrangement has to be Pink Outside The Box, a floral in a cute pink hat box with a ribbon bow and crystal brooch. It is very special and unlike anything that we have offered before. I know that some of our customers will be ordering one for themselves!

To complete your Valentine gift, order a gift box of either macarons from Trophy Cupcakes or a delicious box of truffles from Dilettante Chocolates. Both confectionaries are Seattle institutions known for quality and simply delicious luxury treats!

You may click on any photograph or floral name below to be taken to our website for more details on the arrangement and where you may also place your order.

Our Signature Rose Arrangement
Hearts Roses

Mayra Garden Roses
Every year we like our dozen rose arrangements to be taken to the next level for Valentine's Day. This year we have chosen two gorgeous roses to do just that. For red roses, we have chosen Hearts; a deep red, petal dense rose that opens to reveal a heart shape inside. It is just gorgeous and looks like a garden rose. We are also offering Mayra, a true garden rose in a stunning shade of pink.

The roses are arranged into hydrangeas and accented with pieris japonica and fruited tree ivy. A trio of cymbidium orchids add a luxurious finish to an already stunning arrangement. We are using a simple white glass cylinder vase to complement the hydrangeas but keep the focus on the flowers. Each arrangement is available with twelve, eighteen and twenty four roses. The eighteen and twenty four rose arrangements also have an additional stem of hydrangea for an even more lush look.
Approximately 14 inches wide and 18 inches tall.
May we suggest pairing our Signature Roses with a gift box of truffles from local chocolatier Dilettante Chocolates?

One Dozen - $185
Eighteen - $235
Twenty Four - $280

One Dozen - $165
Eighteen - $210
Twenty Four - $250

Premium miniature calla lilies, ranunculus, spray roses, beautiful double kalanchoe, and speckled aranda orchid, with accents of dusty miller, Ming fern and whimsical diamond-cut wire accents. The vase will become a keepsake that she will use over and over again.
Approximately 10 inches wide and 12 inches tall.
A gift box of macarons locally made by famed bakery Trophy Cupcakes is the perfect pairing with Dappled

Deluxe - $150

Pink Outside The Box
Parents are told that they are never to say that they have a favorite child. Fortunately floral designers are not held to the same standard. While I love all of my children, Pink Outside The Box is special. Maybe it is the White Cloud garden roses combined the Sweet Avalanche rose. Or maybe I just love the pink hat box which we have accented with striped ribbon and a crystal brooch. Whatever it is Pink Outside The Box - you are special to me!
Available in medium and large, Pink Outside The Box is further complemented by phalaenopsis orchid blooms, Queen Anne's lace, snowball viburnum, and silver dollar eucalyptus. The hat box will become a favorite storage container for some of her favorite memories.
Approximately 12 inches wide and 13 inches tall (Standard and Deluxe)
Approximately 14 inches wide and 15 inches tall (Premium)
Pink Outside The Box was the inspiration for us to contact Trophy Cupcakes to purchase their delicious macarons to complement the hat box. Really, how could you go wrong?

Love Note
Our Love Note floral puts a romantic twist on our popular Texture Box floral arrangements by featuring red roses in a matching ceramic container. The roses are accented with red Sweet William, blackberries, cymbidium orchids, and three varieties of succulents before we finish them with greenery. We have topped it all off with a heart made of lily grass to make sure that Love Note delivers just the right message this Valentine's Day. The object of your affection can transplant the succulents into potting soil to have plants that will serve as a lasting reminder of your love.
Approximately 6 inches square and 8 inches tall,
Perfectly complemented by a gift box of macarons from Trophy Cupcakes.

Love Note - $88

Starstruck
Our Texture Boxes were immediately popular when we introduced them in 2011 but Starstruck is the first time that we have offered a tropical variation. I have to say, I really love it! ❤️ We always have associated tropical with beaches, perhaps because those are the popular tropical tourist destinations, so we added starfish and a sand dollar to finish tying in a beach vibe. I think it worked spectacularly! Texture Boxes are so much fun to create because they offer so many layers of design. Elements are chosen so that there is a variety of sizes, shapes and textures in every box. From every angle that you look at them you will see something new. Our Texture Boxes are also gender neutral so whether your beloved is male or female, they are going to love it! And I guess you could say that I am starstruck by Starstruck.
A sixteen piece gift box of Dilettante Chocolate's truffles would complement Starstruck perfectly!

Starstruck - $125
Hearts MosaicsDon't just give her your heart this Valentine's Day; give her hundreds of hearts in a random pattern on our Hearts Mosaic vase. Available with stunning Hearts roses, pink Mayra garden roses or white Polo roses, each accented with a cage of lily grass. The simple combination keeps the vase and roses in complete harmony.
Approximately 9 inches wide and 8 inches tall.

You can win a $75 gift certificate from Fiori Floral Design. All you have to do is like our Facebook page and post a picture of the gift that you sent or received from Fiori Floral Design with the hashtag #ThankYouFiori on our page. Whether it is an arrangement or an orchid plant, any gift that was designed by our studio qualifies for entry. Posting the photograph will qualify both the send and the recipient of the gift to each receive a $75 gift certificate. Both the sender and the recipient may enter as long as different photographs are used for entry. Senders of gifts may request at the time that they place their order that Fiori Floral Design take a picture of their gift. We will be happy to send it to you either by email or text message.

At the beginning of the month, we will share to our Facebook feed all of the photographs that were posted to our Facebook page during the prior month. A random drawing will be held at the beginning of the following month to determine the lucky winners. Every gift shared to our Facebook page starts with an equal chance of winning.

Take the best photograph of your arrangement that you can because you can increase your odds of winning when your photograph receives likes or shares. For every 20 likes and for each share of your photograph after we have shared it to our Facebook page you will receive one bonus entry into the Grand Prize Drawing. Photographs of the arrangement must be taken within 48 hours of receipt to be eligible and posted within 30 days.

All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

6.) Voting Period(s)
By the second business day of the month following the Contest Period, the Sponsor will share all eligible entries that have been posted to the Sponsor’s Facebook page as a means of entry as well as all eligible email entries. The voting period for the contest shall begin once all eligible have been shared by the Sponsor and will end at 11:59 pm Pacific Standard Time on the last day of the month of the Voting Period.

Voting will occur by means of Likes and Shares of the eligible entry from the Sponsor’s Facebook feed as outlined in Rule 7 that grants Bonus Entries to the Grand Prize Drawing. Mail-in entries will not participate in the Voting Period but will be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing which occurs after the Voting Period. Voting does not determine the winner of the random Grand Prize Drawing and is only used to earn bonus entries into the Grand Prize Drawing.

7.) Bonus Entries
There are two ways to earn Bonus Entries into the Prize Drawing.

1) Each Share of the Sponsor’s post to the Sponsor’s Facebook feed will be granted a Bonus entry into the Prize Drawing. Only shares of the Sponsor’s post of the entry will qualify for bonus entries into the Grand Prize Drawing. Shares of the contest entrant’s original post to the Sponsor’s Facebook page will not be counted towards Bonus Entries. Shares of the Sponsor’s post must occur between the beginning and end of the Voting Period as defined above to qualify to qualify for Bonus Entries. Shares of the Sponsor’s post must be publicly visible to be counted.

2) Every 20 Likes that the Sponsor’s post of the eligible entry receives will be granted a Bonus entry into the Prize Drawing. Likes of the contest entrant’s original post to the Sponsor’s Facebook page will not be counted towards Bonus Entries. Likes of the Sponsor’s post must occur between the beginning and the end of the Voting Period as defined above to qualify. To calculate the number of additional entries that a post receives for Likes, the total number of Likes received during the Voting Period will be divided by 20. One entry will be given for each whole number of the result. For example; 50 Likes will receive two Bonus Entries into the Prize Drawing (50 divided by 20 is 2.5; 2 (two) is the whole number and .5 is a fraction of a whole number and does not earn a Bonus Entry).

There will be no formal notification of the number of Bonus Entries granted to any Contest Entrant.

8.) Prize Drawing(s)
On or about the third business day of the month following the Voting Period, the Sponsor will select a potential winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received by the methods outlined above in Section 5 and all Bonus Entries that are granted per the rules in Section 7. The odds of being selected depend on the number of eligible entries received and Bonus Entries earned. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner via telephone or email on or about the first business day following the Prize Drawing. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) calendar days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, the Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries.

9.) Winner Notification
The potential winners will be notified by email, mail or phone. Each potential Grand Prize winner (parent/legal guardian if a minor in his/her state of residence) will be required to complete, electronically sign and submit a Declaration of Compliance within five (5) calendar days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, in order to claim his/her prize. If a potential winner cannot be contacted or fails to submit the Declaration of Compliance within the required time period, or prize is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize. If the potential winner is at least 18 but still considered a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian, who will be required to sign the Declaration of Compliance on the potential winners behalf and fulfill any other requirements imposed on winner set forth herein. Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Only two (2) alternate drawings will be held, after which the prize will remain un-awarded. Prizes will be fulfilled approximately one week after the conclusion of the Contest.

10.) Prizes
(2) $75 Fiori Floral Design Gift Certificates

One $75 Gift Certificate will be awarded to the person entering the contest. The second Gift Certificate will be awarded to either the person who purchased the gift or the recipient of the gift depending on which person entered the contest by either online or email methods OR, in the case of the winner having entered by mail, the second $75 Gift Certificate will be awarded to the person nominated by the Grand Prize winner. Both Gift Certificates will be delivered to the Grand Prize winner who will be responsible for any and all applicable taxes. It will be the responsibility of the winner to distribute the second Gift Certificate unless mutually agreeable arrangements are made with the Sponsor and specified on the signed Declaration of Compliance.

11.) General Conditions
In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention or other technical problem, or in the event the Contest is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules or (b) terminate the Contest and, in the event of termination, award the prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorney's fees) and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Contest, and in no event shall the entrant be entitled to receive attorney's fees. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest. We have partnered with Bloomerent to give brides and event hosts a way to ensure that their centerpieces won’t go to waste at the end of the evening. By working with Bloomerent we are able to list your centerpieces in their online database. Another event occurring around the same time as your wedding can "opt in" to your centerpieces and we will repurpose your flowers and deliver them to the other event. All you have to do is choose your flowers! Not only will you save money by sharing your flowers, but you will ensure that they get a second life at another wedding or special occasion.
If you are looking to save money on centerpieces you can select from the list of available arrangements that our clients are offering and save from 40% to 60% on them. We pick the centerpieces up from their first use and bring them back to our studio and freshen them up before delivering them to you or you can save even more money by picking them up from our studio near Greenlake. We can even make minor changes to them to accommodate your palette.
What's Bloomerent - YouTube
We began our partnership with Bloomerent in March 2017. More centerpieces will become available as more of our clients choose to participate in this exciting program.

We were thrilled when Lawrence and Darrell asked Fiori Floral Design to do the flowers for their wedding. Lawrence and the owner have been friends for over 20 years and no one was happier that he was marrying the love of his life.

When the Fiori team met with the couple to discuss their wedding flowers, they did not have specific ideas about what flowers they wanted, but they wanted them to be very personalized to their personality and the reception space. Woodsy and modern were a recurring theme. Perhaps sculptural?  There is a lot of wood and metal at the venue; can you incorporate that? Darrell looked around the studio and pointed out a few flowers that he liked – “I like those orchids but do they come in purple?”

And that was the amount of instruction that we had. So that is what we started with, purple orchids and both woodsy and modern; very dissimilar ideas.  Industrial and sculptural.  And orchids...

And it all had to work with what was to be a very personalized wedding and reception for two superhero loving geeks that included Lord of the Rings wedding bands, vows that they wrote themselves, multiple food trucks and a charcuterie table, specialty cocktails and beer, a rainbow cake and a Death Star piñata. Challenge accepted.

Waiting in the wings...
Lawrence and Darrell's self-written vows had everyone alternately in stitches...
And had them in tears.
Two grooms are better than one.
For the reception, we created a large, sculptural centerpiece with driftwood for the charcuterie table. We wanted something big and dramatic; a real focal point for the room. We created a base of moss with succulents and ferns and inserted Catteleya and Lady Slipper orchids. Additional succulents draped down the sides of the driftwood.  Staghorn ferns and airplants added additional greenery.  Additional Cattelya and Japhet orchids and whole stems of Phalaenopsis orchids added splashes of color.

Our goal was to create something that guest would talk about.  The result made the grooms cry (in a good way!).
The focal point of the main room.

The centerpieces expanded on the theme of the focal sculpture; incorporating Phalaenopsis or Japhet and Catteleya orchids, accented with succulents, and airplants.  Each was set on a square of galvanized metal to add an industrial feeling and then finished with moss and crushed purple glass.

When Talea came to us for help with her upcoming wedding at Alderbook Resort & Spa (one of our favorite venues) she had simple requirements: 1) LOTS of candles, 2) She LOVES flowers and 3) She wanted to create a memorable experience for her guests.  The wedding was to be held outdoors on the tented Checkerboard Terrace with dinner in the ballroom and a casino experience after dinner. We told her that we could handle that and would take care of all of the details, from linen and furniture rentals, to draping and lighting.

We suggested that, to enrich the experience for her guests, the evening should be allowed to unfold with secrecy as to what was next.  The weather was perfect for an outdoor wedding, unseasonable warm, crisp and bright.  We defined the ceremony space with two large floral arrangements all in white and two metal trees covered in white dendrobium orchids with hanging votive candles.

Rose petals in whites and creams covered the aisle and over one hundred candles provided a warm glow to the tent.  The bride, escorted by her son, walked down the aisle, passing beneath three white stars that symbolized loved ones who should have been there to share this day; her mother, the groom’s mother and Talea’s grandfather who passed away just weeks before the wedding.  They were watching over all.

After the ceremony, guest progressed to a cocktail hour in the ballroom lobby where they could have their pictures taken in front of a beautiful wooden wall.  We used this time to repurpose the ceremony flowers for use during the reception.

The ballroom was kept closed until the appointed hour for dinner and the bride and groom welcomed their guests in to reveal a beautiful table filled with candlelight and flowers.  The all-white theme continued with vases of varying heights filled with garden roses, tulips, hydrangeas, as well as orbs of button mums and tall phalaenopsis orchid plants.  Candles of different sizes were displayed in a variety of heights to give dimension and visual interest to the table.

Orchid covered trees from the ceremony were repositioned to provide a backdrop for the cake.  We divided the ballroom with draping that was white on one side and black on the other to prevent light from leaking through.

Children enjoyed dinner at their own table with a different menu than the adults.  After dinner, there was an activity table just for them to keep them occupied while the adults celebrated.

Following toasts and dessert, Eric and Talea parted the draping that had divided the ballroom to reveal what was on the other side:
Eric reveals the surprise of the evening, a casino on the opposite side of the ballroom!
While the guests were enjoying dinner, we transferred the decor from the cocktail hour to the other half of the ballroom.  We wanted the casino side of the ballroom to have a distinctly different feeling from the rest of the evening so we went with a red and black theme.  We rented black lounge furniture and washed the walls with red lights.  We replaced the clear glass votive holders hanging on the trees during the cocktail reception with red glass holders.  Red roses in black glass cubes rested on black linens on the bistro tables.

Guests trying their luck at the roulette wheel
While guests were enjoying the evening, the staff at Alderbrook performed a turn down service in their rooms.  They also left a lovely gift from the bride and groom: a Kate Spade candle and a black vase with red roses; to help them remember the evening.
