Hey fiber lovers, it's time for the annual Weaving and Fiber Festival, brought to you by the Southern California Handweavers' Guild. It's a fun-filled fiber-y day with weaving and fiber supply vendors, demonstrations, exhibits, a raffle, silent auction, a fashion show, and - new this year - mini workshops in the quad.

This weekend is the 5th annual Holiday Artisan Faire at Chemers Gallery, and my second year participating. This is a really nice event with a party atmosphere and refreshments, over 20 artists and vendors. See you there? This weekend is the weekend before Thanksgiving, so it must be time for Designing Weavers' annual sale and exhibit. It's a great place to find handwoven gifts, clothing, scarves, handbags, household linens, wall art, jewelry and more.

It's another art faire! South Coast Weavers and Spinners will have a booth and demonstrations at the Studio Arts Festival at the Irvine Fine Arts Center. I'll have some of my work there, and I'll be there with a table loom. With music and food and in a park setting, this festival is really nice, so come on down!
