Operator says response has so far been positive and it plans an even bigger overhaul: Real names, live audio chat, face verification and more are all in the pipeline.

Partypoker executives have defended their recent controversial changes to ban HUDs and remove downloadable hand histories and has promised dozens more changes in a bid to improve the cash game experience at its online poker room.

The comments came during a wide-ranging interview conducted by pokerfuse last week with Tom Waters, Head of partypoker, and Rob Yong, a partypoker partner overseeing the company’s ecology changes.

Operator will once again create ripples in India with an 11 Crore ($1.58 million) IOPC series in July.

Indian online poker room The Spartan Poker has announced the return of its marquee online tournament series, the Indian Online Poker Championship (IOPC). The July edition comes with yet another record-breaking prize pool, this time of 11 Crore ($1.58 million).

This cements Spartan’s position as the region’s leading online poker operator when it comes to hosting the country’s biggest online tournament series. The upcoming IOPC will beat its own record set in January when it held an 8.5 Crore ($1.2 million) series.

Half a dozen online tournament series has been scheduled in the next six months including $20 million guaranteed MILLIONS Online.

The schedule for partypoker’s online tournament series for the remaining half-year has been released, with six more online tournament series spread over the next six months.

There will be a series almost every month, starting with Powerfest in late July and capping off the year with a Christmas Series.

With plans to raise £1 million in the next two years The Stars Group said they are “delighted” the partnership will continue.

The Stars Group (TSG) has announced it has extended its partnership with the global charity Right To Play for a further two years, taking the partnership into 2021.

TSG has pledged to raise a further £1 million in the next two years for the charity.

With less than a month to go until the official launch of the online poker market in Pennsylvania, we take a look at the list of online poker rooms expected to go live in mid-July.

The online poker market in the state of Pennsylvania is set to make its debut on July 15 and with less than four weeks remaining, the million dollar question is which online poker rooms will go live on that date?

So far, state regulators have issued Interactive Gaming Certificates to seven land-based casinos to offer online poker in the state. Among the casinos authorized by the Pennsylvania State Gaming Board (PGCB) are Mount Airy, Harrah’s Casino Philadelphia, SugarHouse Casino, Valley Forge, Hollywood Casino, Parx Casino and Sands Bethlehem.

To coincide with the launch of new look KO tables, PokerStars will be hosting UFC KO Poker Series across all its major markets.

PokerStars continues to leverage the UFC partnership to promote its various game offerings with a new UFC knockout poker series as well as rebranding its existing Knockout Poker game, the company has revealed.

On June 23, PokerStars will change the name of KO Poker to UFC KO and give it a new look, with tables designed to resemble the famous octagon ring with new animations and sound effects.

Tribe of Oklahoma’s online poker site has dumped its FairPlay system and has signed high profile German live pro Rainer Kempe as Brand Ambassador.

The Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma’s real money online poker site GreySnow Poker has migrated over to the BetConstruct network.

GreySnow launched in November 2018 as its own independent online poker room using WPN software in the international market. It went live with a unique “FairPlay” rake model, which has now been scrapped.

Cash game traffic immediately quintuples with launch of 101% Week on new stable client.

Cash game traffic at online poker startup Run it Once Poker has rebounded to over 100 average concurrent cash game players following the launch of its new stable client and associated promotion “101% Week.”

Earlier this month, the operator released the biggest upgrade to its poker software to date. While there were a few customer-facing improvements, including new table themes and improved animations, the major upgrade was in platform stability.
