The first thing that always pops in my head  90% of the time whenever I get caught in the middle of a downpour is my bag because I use my luxury handbags all the time. Water is one of the biggest causes of handbag deterioration, especially leather as it may cause water stains, water marks, spots, and can even cause wrinkling and dye fading. A luxury handbag costs a hefty premium (as well as handbag cleaning and maintenance) and now you understand why it's my primary concern whenever I'm out and it's raining!

The Beauty Junkee by Martha Sta. Barbara - 10h ago

I've received a couple of messages on Facebook asking why I haven't been posting a lot lately. July's been very busy as I've been traveling a lot. Ack! I know, I'm such a bad blogger because I haven't been consistent; I just moved to our permanent home just this July as well and have been fixing and finishing stuff ever since; add to that my work, trips, business, and wifey duties equals madness. Please bear with me, we'll be back to regular programming very soon! I'm actually finishing up my dresser and condo so I can tour you guys around! :)

Today, let me show you my hauls from my recent Hong Kong-Macau trip with my family, husband side. My last trip to Hong Kong was around 4 years ago; the city hasn't changed that much, but still, it's crazy beautiful! It was also my first time in Macau! I'll blog about my 1-day trip to Macau soon!

Onto the hauls!

Of course, makeup is part of the list. First, the luxury makeup hauls.

For our last day in Melbourne, let's go on a gastronomic adventure as I take you to the various top food destinations in the city, from spend to save! Are you hungry? Then take a bite!

SPLURGE

HASH SPECIALTY COFFEE

Hardware street is one of the famous streets in Melbourne because it is lined with some of the best restaurants in the city like Hash Specialty Coffee. HSC's healthy, artisan approach to food made them one of the must- visit modern restaurant concepts in the city. My big favorite at Hash? Their special hot chocolate with fairy floss! Rich, creamy milk chocolate that you pour on top of the fairy floss; taste the symphony!

Anne Clutz Makeup Brush Set review.

PRICE: P500.00
FROM: Free
OTHER LOCATIONS: Available online at @anneclutzbrushes on Instagram

THE VERDICT:

I remember the time when brush sets were so expensive; I had to save at least 3 months' worth of school allowance just to get a full brush set. Nowadays, makeup brush sets have gotten more affordable, like Anne Clutz's makeup brush set! Who said P500 won't go a long way nowadays?!?
