Selling our 14’ 1957 Beemer Travel Trailer camper. Originally built in Flint Michigan, this trailer made its way to Wisconsin where I bought if from some 12 years ago. Had some minor leaks in its years, but nothing that warranted ripping out the original birch wood interior. I did refinish the table, closet doors and screen door, but the rest was in awesome condition. Two beds in back, front table makes into a bed.

New items:

• Newer custom made canopy
• Air conditioner installed on floor, vented out side.
• Newer compact refrigerator
• Foam on rear beds
• Reconditioned original Panelray propane heater.
• HD TV in front cabinet. Door slides closed for storage and/or travel.

Items needing repair:

• Pump needed for clean water holding tank. We’ve never needed it.
• Some hail dents and deep scratch on passenger side.
• Front large window has some clouding on the bottom (hey, it’s old!)
• Aluminum panels need to be re-polished.

Condition:

• Great for 61 years old.
• INTERIOR – Most birch in wonderful shape with a nice warm glow. HAS NEVER BEEN PAINTED
• Original Dixie stove works great.
• Original Panelray heater has been reconditioned. Looks fantastic!
• Newer vinyl flooring
• Frame is straight and solid.
• Closet and cabinet interiors are awesome.
• Tires are newer with great tread.
• Window are original, all work as they should and with screens.
• Pulls straight and easy.

Price: $12,500

1960 Kenskill Travel Trailer

This trailer is in excellent condition, has tons of vintage appeal, and is priced to sell.

• Meet “Jimmie” my lovingly restored Kenskill trailer named after my father.
• Hard to find spacious 17’ long by 8’ wide vintage trailer.  21’ total from tip to tail including hitch.  This trailer is exceptionally roomy for even three people.  This would be a perfect guest quarters on a piece of property.
• I have restored this trailer extensively over the past four years.  I am a professional carpenter by trade and have done 3 other vintage trailer restorations over the past 10 years.
• Extensive replacement of water damaged framing from the inside out (skin was left in place during the rebuild)
• Installed 1” insulated foam in all wall/ceiling cavities.  Installed state of the art foil insulation after insulated foam was installed.
• New black and white checker board vinyl floor tiles. Bathroom was done in tasteful wood vinyl tiles.
• New 1/8” birch wall /ceiling paneling.  Beautiful amber shellac finish applied to all paneling.
• All cabinet faces were sanded and finished with amber shellac.  Original hardware painted black.
• Rewired both 110 ac and 12 volt dc system.  The system is designed to run off of a 12 volt battery supported system while out camping.  The 110 ac system works when you are plugged into power at a campground or at home.  Several lights fixtures are the original ones.  12 volt fixtures are all led.  Small fan was installed to aid in air movement during hot and cold times
• Windows removed and reinstalled with new butyl tape.
• New Valspar tractor and implement paint applied with an airless sprayer 3 years ago.
• Freshly painted appliances.
• New tires/wheels with baby moon rims.
• New galvanized metal kitchen counter and backsplash.
• New power free hand pump water system with 15 gallon holding tank.
• Restored ice box (low tech, but works nicely)
• Original furnace has been restored as is operational.
• New diamond plate rock guard in front and back.
• Trailer has a small shower/bathroom.  There is currently no operational plumbing in the bathroom and the toilet was removed by a previous owner, but it has room for porta potty.

This trailer is ready for camping but still needs a few items completed.  Below is a list of things to do and the price has been adjusted accordingly.

• Needs several pieces of glass replaced.  2 louvered windows and 2 panes of glass.
• Roof has been sealed but it could use paint (although you never really see it).
• Stove and furnace are operational but could use some fine tuning.
• Original dining room benches should be reupholstered.
• No operational shower.

Serious Inquires only.
Price: $8,500
Location: Hailey, ID
Call 208-721-1034 or email curtisgalvez@gmail.com.  I have hundreds of pictures from all phases of the restoration.

1966 Serro Scotty Sportsman

This is, “Dorothy” our 1966 Serro Scotty Sportsman. These trailers were built to be light weight and easy to tow.

This cute little trailer was an off-frame restoration inside and out with completely new siding—she is sealed and does not leak. She also has many nice updates like air conditioning, updated electrical system and box pullouts in the storage compartments. The back of the trailer is a full size bed with ample storage and a port-a-potty that slides out. This trailer sleeps 2 adults and up to 2 children by converting the dining area. Other upgrades include new high density foam custom cushions that were just recovered, an awning, and Serro Scotty moon rims.

“Dorothy,” is a single axel and 13 feet in length, 6 ½ feet tall and 6 ½ feet wide with a dry weight of 1000 pounds, which can be pulled by small vehicles. She is ready for you to have many summer adventures in. I love sitting in her and admiring how adorable she is!
