A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD. While this blog may not be updated regularly, if you’re curious about Lamb Island, you’ll find plenty here to interest you. If you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.
Sadly, it’s ‘Lamblog Central’, home of this blog. After more than twenty years of idyllic living here on Lamb Island, we’ve very reluctantly sold our property. And while leaving Lamb Island is going to be a real wrench for us, at least the new owners are people we’re happy to see the property in the hands of. So this is the last-ever post on Lamblog, but we’re leaving the blog up for anyone wanting to get an idea of what living on Lamb Island offers.
Sadly, it’s ‘Lamblog Central’, home of this blog. Yep, after more than twenty years of idyllic living here on Lamb Island, we’re very reluctantly putting our property on the market as from January 1, 2019. And while that’s a real pain for us, it’s potentially good news for someone else, because it gives them the chance to own a really great waterfront home. Even better news is that we’ll be offering it as a private sale, which means that anything up to $15,000 in estate agent’s commission won’t have had to be added to the asking price of $475,000. If you’d like to know more, click here for our For Sale site. And of course, you’ll find a number of posts featuring aspects of the property throughout this blog.
Because of a whole lot of other stuff going on, we’ve had to put this blog on hold, with no new posts for a while. But if you’re curious about Lamb Island, you’ll probably find plenty of interest here anyway.
