Self Defense Instructor

Modern Ninjutsu was founded by Will Maier. Will Maier has been active in the martial arts for over 35 years. He trained under 34th generation Grandmaster Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi, of Noda city, Japan, in Ninjutsu(Budo Taijutsu). Maier also has various degrees of black belt in Jujutsu, Tae Kwon Do, and Hapkido, and has studied several Chinese and Filipino martial arts. In 1998 he was awarded 10th degree Black Belt in traditional Ninjutsu(Budo Taijutsu) under 34th generation Grandmaster Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi, of Noda city, Japan, and he was personally given the warrior name “Morning Dragon” by his mentor. He has since developed his own approach to the 900 year old lagacy, which he calls Modern Ninjutsu. Its emphasis is on practical self defense in the 21st century.

Ballroom Dance Instructor
and KiddyCat Director

Yoshi started teaching at Fatcat in the Winter of 2017. She has taught at multiple dance studios and helped create several children’s’ dance programs. As a young child, Yoshi was immersed in the rich cultures of dance and music. She began studying ballet at age four and fell absolutely head over heels for dance in general. Not only does Yoshi have a strong passion for dancing, but also for teaching and inspiring others to cultivate their own passion. One of her biggest dreams is to be able to positively influence people of all ages by introducing them to the world of dance. Yoshi is ecstatic to share her love of dancing with you!
