Most of us want to explore different places around the globe and within India. However, it requires time from our busy schedules and money too. In today’s online world, it has become comparatively easier to travel at affordable prices. The two major costs of any travel are hotel accommodation and flight bookings. Here, we present some of the top tricks to save money on your flight booking in India:
1. Use Discount Coupons
Flight tickets can be booked online using sites like MakeMyTrip, Goomo, Yatra, Goibibo, etc. These sites offer discounts on air tickets when users apply a coupon code. Normally 5% to 10% discount is available on tickets on applying the coupons. There are many coupon sites from where flight coupons can be collected. Check this site for Goomo coupons for flight and hotel bookings.
2. Book Early in a Sale
For traveling at the lowest fares, try booking your air tickets as soon as possible after you decide on the travel dates. Usually fares are upto 40% cheaper when booked 3 months in advance.
3. Using Incognito Mode in Browser
These days websites fluctuate the price of the flight tickets once they find out your interest based on your browsing in the past few days. Hence, it is advisable to block cookies by using incognito window of your browser when surfing the travel booing websites. This way, websites will not be able to manipulate the price.
4. Travel on Weekdays
On weekends, flight fares are generally higher than weekdays. So, if you plan a trip make sure that your journey start and end dates do not fall on Saturday or Sunday. This way you will be able to get cheaper fares.
5. Travel During Off-Peak Season
Flight during New Year, Diwali, Indian festivals and Summer holidays are expensive than the rest of the time. You are very likely to get a much better ticket price for booking flight to your dream destinations.
By applying these tips, we are reasonably sure that you will be able to find and book cheap flight tickets by getting the best deals on air tickets and hotels as well. Do not hold yourself and start planning for your dream destinations now.
