(I was gifted PR tickets for Rip It Up, this blog post is not sponsored & all opinions are my own). I love a West End show. If I had the funds and time to see a West End show every weekend, I probably would. I’m always on the lookout for new musicals to see with my boyfriend, it’s one of our favourite ways to have a date night. We were lucky enough to finally see Phantom of the Opera recently, followed by a little wander around Theatreland after dinner. We ended up walking past the Garrick Theatre near the…

[Disclaimer: the jewellery box featured in this blog post is gifted, but this blog post is not sponsored. All opinions and photography are my own.] I don’t know about you, but I adore my Mum. She’s an absolutely wonderful, caring, funny and strong woman, and one of my favourite things to do is give her well-thought-out gifts. When The Gift Experience got in touch and asked if I’d like to feature one of their gifts in a Mother’s Day blog post, I had a browse of their site and thought: yes, this is perfect. I’m all for personalised gifts, something…

[this is a guest post, photograph is mine from this year’s London Art Fair] While it was once thought of as a feminine pursuit, self-care and grooming are quickly becoming a staple in many men’s lives. There is a vast variety of products created especially for men. Sometimes, however, you may want to show off a specific feature. Whether you have sparkling blue eyes, a lustrous beard, or blonde hair you’re proud of, there are many ways you can highlight and make the most of the features you’re most proud of. Luckily, most of these ways are extremely quick and…

(this is a guest post, picture is my own) If you live in a bustling city such as London, it can be easy to see the dating pool as being too vast and too daunting. Friends and family might encourage you to get out there and make the most of your city, but it can be hard to know how. With so many venues, restaurants and shows to see, you have a wealth of options, but how do you meet your date first? Take it one step at a time Being single in a big city is incredibly exciting, but it’s…

A few weeks ago I had the most mind-blowing, life-changing revelation I’ve ever experienced. People I work and go to uni with (and those of you I have on Instagram) know this already, but I thought I’d write about it as well because it’s MAD. You may be wondering what I discovered? A condition called aphantasia. I did not know until very recently that in general, 98-99% of people can ‘visualise’. I have never been able to visualise anything, see images in my mind, ‘picture’ anything, or have visual memories. My mind is just blackness, like a black hole or…

I love vintage clothes, vintage furniture, vintage glasses, vintage everything. When I buy any modern clothes (i.e. not from vintage shops in Shoreditch), I’m always drawn towards vintage-inspired things, from the 1920’s Gatsby style, to 70’s bohemian, to 90’s grunge. Today I’m sharing a vintage-inspired wishlist, with a few items I’ve been lusting after recently. My Current Vintage-Inspired Wishlist… 1) A Scarf Print Bodysuit I’m loving retro scarf prints at the moment. As a huge fan of Versace, this Quiz Scarf Bodysuit is a great way to get the Italian look for a lot less! Side note: have you seen the Assassination of Gianni…

It’s no secret that I love Kew Gardens. I wrote about their amazing Orchid Festival last year, and with this year’s festival due to start in a few days (February 9th – March 10th), it’s about time I write about the beauty of Kew again. Today I’m sharing the Palm House, take a look inside… The Palm House First of all, I have to mention the beautiful building these exotic plants live in! The Palm House is one of Kew’s most popular attractions, featuring a rainforest climate with tropical plants filling up a beautiful Victorian glasshouse built in 1844. No glasshouse…

Another day, another arty blog post from yours truly. My Grandfather and I often visit art galleries and exhibitions, but surprisingly we’d never checked out the London Art Fair… until now. Advertised as ‘a medley of modern and contemporary art’, it sounded perfect for us. Spoiler alert: it was. It was wonderful to see the best artworks from so many different galleries, have chats with art collectors, and even hear talks from the artists themselves. I got talking with a lovely Canadian art dealer about some wonderful musician-themed pieces featuring John Lennon, the Rolling Stones, Elvis, and Freddie Mercury… my…

*The spending money for this blog post was gifted by Hotels.com to spend the day in Mayfair, but all views are my own and I chose the locations to visit!* I love exploring galleries and museums around Mayfair, it’s an area of London simply filled with art, culture, and wonderful cocktail bars. I frequently visit exhibitions at the RA (Royal Academy of Arts), so this time I decided to explore something new to me: a house museum. If you’re thinking of visiting central London, make sure to check out hotels in Mayfair. The area is gorgeous, you’ll find many instagrammable old streets,…
